Bowila: sympathy winging it's way to you . and curses to bad work people [angry}.

scarysuejonez · 26/10/2006 19:05

but didn;t you get lovely long awaited for new position/title/promotion recently or is that all forgotten now?

I've had a manic day but unfortunately Embassy will only issue visa dated 30 Oct - so I'm booked on Tuesday lunchtime flight.

scarysuejonez · 26/10/2006 19:06

Oxo - what time do you want to make tomorrow? I have to get my tickets in the afternoon but other than that am free.

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 26/10/2006 19:21

Sue I finally managed to find dd's old snowsuit it's 12-18 months. it's yours if you want to take one that doesn't drown lo-to-be.

Boowila · 26/10/2006 21:43

promotion shmotiom -- two years overdue as far as I'm concerned.

I'm actually pissed off at one particular person. We have just literally swaped positions. And the reason we did this is because the client refused to renew the contract with him -- and now I know why: because he is a jerk! (my colleague not the client)

Boowila · 26/10/2006 21:44

MrsBigD, are we still on for Sunday?

scarysuejonez · 26/10/2006 23:25

I'd love to take a look at it MrsBigD - times to meet up Sat or Sun (I could pop over to yours if thats easier)

2Cute · 27/10/2006 00:50

Boowila - Tell him he'd better watch out or you'll unleash a gang of hormonal mums on to him! AKA the West London Mafia Mothers!

A very Happy 1st Birthday to baby Whizzi x

spooxooky · 27/10/2006 07:53

Boowila · 27/10/2006 08:06

I'm calmer today.

And looking forward to my night out with a bunch of American girlies tonight.

FiziWhiziLetsGetScary · 27/10/2006 08:26

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 27/10/2006 09:09

scarysuejonez · 27/10/2006 09:44

You're so bossy mrsBD

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 27/10/2006 10:04

yeah but not as good at wagging my finger as you are

Boowila · 27/10/2006 10:10

So, shall we take bets on how long it will be until junior jonez starts to wag his finder at his mummy????

So, when do you return Sue? We need to get onto planning that baby shower / welcome home shin dig. (as if we need yet another thread)

unhallowed · 27/10/2006 10:18

Hi spooky,

I'm interested in the booster seat too. Is it one that is portable?

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 27/10/2006 12:27

we can always already start the thread and start listing what we've got to 'unload' onto SJ junior

Boowila · 27/10/2006 12:38

No no no no no... some elements of baby showers are not to be discovered by the mother prior to the party.... But, we could talk about when and where to host it.

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 27/10/2006 13:09

and discuss the pressies covertly via email

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 27/10/2006 13:11

guess what... I've got nada to do in the office so here's another West London Thread

SJ's babyshower to be arranged

f1nut · 27/10/2006 13:50

can i pick ur brains ladies, the oppertunity has come up to move to east acton, right near queen charlottes hos. was pleased untill some people said "you dont want to live there" "what a dump" " its very built up" does any of you know the area, whats it like?

thanks xxxxx

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 27/10/2006 14:21

next to queen charlottes eh? well it depends which side of it really. Generally East Acton isn't the nicest of places and you've got the prison there too. When I had to walk from tube station to QC there were some nice houses along the way, but tbh I wouldn't want to move there. Probably not all that bad, but I'm spoiled from Ealing proper

scarysuejonez · 27/10/2006 14:35

Everywhere in West London is "very built up"! Even tthe nice areas, its all suburban!

Boowila · 27/10/2006 14:35

And BBC White City is very near as well. No, I don't think I'd live there either.... unless the price was good and it got me into Queen Charlotte and I was planning to have more babies.
