Oh I forgot - for those who haven't yet heard of A Mile For Maude here is more info

mumtwogirls · 20/02/2007 09:03

Hi Mummy2TandF, That's sounds really interesting. Have you found a venue where you will do the walk? I thought if not, what about Hainault Country Park? I would be interested as I think I can manage a mile!

Mummy2TandF · 20/02/2007 10:32

Hi - Yes I was thinking of Hainault or maybe Raphaels Park in Romford - That way it is safer for the children

henrybaba · 20/02/2007 12:23

Oh yes ,Id be up for doing a Mile for Maude. Will click on your link in a mo. Any park is good for me...

Don't think we can make kids corner this wed, as I am meeting a friend at bluewater in the morning and not sure when i will be home. Would love to another time though. Hopefully see you guys soon xx

KaybeeandZak · 05/03/2007 16:29

Oh and mumtwogirls and henrybaba, are you doing the mile for maude in Romford? I was looking for an east london one but there doesn't seem to be anything so I might be up for joining you guys...

henrybaba · 07/03/2007 20:37

Sorry I missed Kids Korner today - I have only just seen the message. Been a bit busy and have not been checking intenet etc...
Would definitely be up for doing it another time though. Drove past it the other day so I know where it is now!
And yes, I am doing Mile for Maude in Romford. I am going to ask for some posters so I can drum up some more interest from Loughton.
Anyway, hope you and your little ones are well

glittermonster · 17/03/2007 15:33

x

KaybeeandZak · 10/05/2007 21:03

Hi I am still watching the thread, but can't make mile for maude this weekend. Anyone keen to meet for coffee some time? I have no internet at home yet as we have moved, so far it's been a month

henrybaba · 13/05/2007 20:12

Hi there - coffee would be good sometime. Most weeks I can do Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday or Thursday afternoon but this week I can't do Wednesday..
How is Zak doing??
Chat soon

henrybaba · 13/05/2007 20:14

BTW, DH, DS and I did Mile for Maude in Romford. About 8 people turned up, we all had pink balloons and a local photographer came and took a snap for the paper....and it didnt rain!!
x

KaybeeandZak · 15/05/2007 16:31

thats great that it didnt rain, what a shame there were only 8 people

Zak is doing fine, he's started on solids now and is loving it! How is Henry? I can do next Tues afternoon if you fancy getting together - anyone else welcome too!

henrybaba · 17/05/2007 21:14

Next Tuesday is good for me - how about the new Costa Coffee on the High Road? Is 1pm too early for you or is that OK..?
Glad the weaning is going well. We have just progressed to finger food and Henry has decided that feeding himself is much better than being fed and is not too keen to take anything from a spoon now - a very messy business!

KaybeeandZak · 18/05/2007 08:34

Zak is messy enough being fed from a spoon, I dread to think what it will be like with finger foods He likes to stick his hands in his mouth after the food has gone in so it ends up everywhere!!!

1pm Tues is fine for us, see you there xx

mumtwogirls · 23/05/2007 16:26

Having been watching this thread but decided not to post any new info. Forgot about the Mile for Maud. Sorry. Hope it went well Henrybaba.

So which is better Starbucks or Costa?

KaybeeandZak · 23/05/2007 19:45

Starbucks has the outside seating!!
