Sorry to have been away for a while - not yet online at new house but yes, we are getting settled in Loughton. Staying at my parents for a few days but would be great to meet up next week. I could do Monday 13th or Tuesday 14th, late morning or early afternoon in Starbucks? Anyone fancy it??

Hey there VicWilliamson. Glad to hear you are getting settled. I could possibly meet you next week but early afternoons would be best for me as I'm busy both mornings. I could meet you Monday afternoon as I don't have to pick DD1 until 4.15pm. We go swimming in the morning and then hopefully afterwards, DD2 will have her nap so I'm thinking 2pm ish?

vicwilliamson · 10/11/2006 15:04

Hi Framan, 2pm Monday sounds good - no idea whether DS will be napping or not, not got that good a routine! Any other Loughtonians are welcome...

Just tried to send you a CAT vicwilliamson. just wanted to give you some personal info but you can contact me on [email protected].

Anyone else coming to join us at Starbucks. Kaybee, Taylormamma et al?

Kaybee7777 · 11/11/2006 19:36

Hey guys,
I'd like to meet up, but not too sure if I can make it on Monday. If I can I will be there at 2pm, I am quite tall and about to have a baby any minute!

framan · 12/11/2006 17:55

Cool Kaybee! Just don't break your waters there. Lol!

framan · 14/11/2006 13:17

It was great to meet Kaybee and VicWilliamson. Hope we will meet up again soon. Any others are welcome too.

Kaybee7777 · 14/11/2006 14:33

Hi,
it was lovely to meet you guys too
With any luck next time I will have a baby to bring along too...
Hope your internet is now sorted VicWilliamson!?

vicwilliamson · 14/11/2006 17:24

At last I am back online - great to see you both yesterday too. Hope this week goes well Kaybee, and the baby arrives earlier rather than later.. Do any others want to join us next time we meet up??

Hi there, just dropping in to say still no baby! I am getting very impatient! Am going to spend all weekend eating hot curries and having brisk walks!!

Have you been shopping for curtains yet vic?

lulumama · 16/11/2006 12:35

taylormama;s internet is down, so i have told her you were asking after her....xx

vicwilliamson · 16/11/2006 16:28

Yes, have made 3 trips to the curtain shop in the last 3 days! Forgot to take all the measurements with me first time (how long does this new-mummy-brain thing last??!) Pineapple juice is supposed to help bring on the birth..and for me swimming did the trick - depends how brave you are feeling!
Taylormama - where is the group you go to on a Wednesday? I went to one at Rectory Lane Health Centre yesterday and thought after that you may have been there...

OP posts:
Kaybee7777 · 16/11/2006 16:39

Hahaha according to some of my friends, new mummy brain never quite disappears!!
I quite like the idea of swimming but have nothing to wear and would be very worried my waters would suddenly go or something like that. I think I have heard that pineapple juice theory, but that it's only fresh pineapple that works - and I don't think it's pineapple season!

framan · 17/11/2006 09:21

Hi guys, just been a bit busy. I've got two kids and I'm the perfect example for forgetfulness as Vic already knows. You must of thought I was a con! Good luck Kaybee eat some curry if you like that and also have some sex or go mad and tidy up the house. That's what happened to me when DD2 decided to make an appearance although it was 24hours later!

Kaybee7777 · 17/11/2006 13:23

Thanks framan, housework is my plan for this afternoon, then maybe curry and sex on the weekend
Am seeing a midwife on wed for a sweep and to book induction date in case nothing has happened....

vicwilliamson · 18/11/2006 15:13

Framan - my parents are coming to stay Tue/Wed so I will not be able to go to the Toddler group you mentioned but will bear it in mind for the following week and let you know.
If anyone fancies a coffee next week then I'd be up for it - just not Tue/Wed..

taylormama · 18/11/2006 16:40

vicwilliamson · 18/11/2006 21:36

How funny! Still don't know who you are though... I won't be there this Wednesday as parents are visiting but will be there the following week. Not sure if we spoke - my baby is Henry, I'm quite tall with short dark hair...

OP posts:
taylormama · 20/11/2006 12:59

vic - still not sure who you are - i am rubbish!! shame you won't be there this week but i will be there the week after so will look out for you. xxx

Kaybee7777 · 26/11/2006 15:15
