Sorry - don't pick up from Richmond Station - too much hassle getting in & out?

Its 65 stops on Kew Road (can do any - ish), Kew Station (back end only) or nuffink!

Do I look bovvered?

2Cute · 13/09/2006 13:44

Updated my bit...thank's for the invite, looking forward to meeting you all. Must admit I've got butterflies in my stomach like I'm going to an interview! I couldn't resist teasing DH so told him "yes dear, of course it'll be civilised, with only a handful of male strippers!"

?'s: Where will you all be parking? Where exactly shall I meet you (just in case I go sit down at someone elses table!

Don't worry 2cute. We're not too scary - well Sue is but she's not coming

We are all very young looking and attractive though

2Cute · 13/09/2006 13:54

FF, look out for the chubby one that looks like she hasn't slept in months! That'll be me

MrsBigD · 13/09/2006 14:02

fatfox speak for yourself LOL 2cute I'm more like you...slighly chubby and haven't slept in years

or just look at that's my mugshot on the right with dd

and the face is deceiving I'm a classical Pear

2Cute · 13/09/2006 14:06

BigD, if that's what you call chubby, God help me! lovely photo by the way, ur DD's gorgeous.

MrsBigD · 13/09/2006 14:14

as I said... face is deceiving LOL I'm going for the sleep deprived haggard look

OP posts:
2Cute · 13/09/2006 14:15

That look works well for me

YanksUponThames · 13/09/2006 16:41

Sorry, fatfox, wasn't meaning to be a bovver with unending suggestions etc. I totally agree that (with a car) Richmond station is a complete pain in the butt. I will appear at whichever stop works for you. Delightedly grateful for the ride!!

MrsBigD, will you stop going on about being 'chubby' or whatever you call it. Don't be daft. You look fine. My arse is bigger than yours. Not to mention my face!

And will everybody stop calling Sue scary. I don't think she is. I'm way scarier, especially when blathering on some geeky topic, or bi*ing out my mom for failing to shovel the rubbish out of her flat...

xoxoxo · 13/09/2006 16:55

foxy cars: easiest pick up place is Whittaker Avenue (where the old town hall is) as you can turn in there without getting beeped. Turn right just after All Bar One and before Matches, if you are guided by shops.

Paddlechick: suggest we meet at the monument end rather than outside All Bar One 'cos we'll just look like saddos who have been stood up.

Between say 7 and 10 past as restaurant is booked for 7.30pm?

fatfox · 13/09/2006 17:16

Oxo - think I left a message on the other thread about Whittaker Avenue. I'd rather pick up from the cinema (see other thread ) at 7.10pm

Yanks - will meet you at the original 65 bus stop (twixt Lion Gate and Pagoda Ave)at 7pm

Foxy Cars Ltd

fatfox · 13/09/2006 17:22

Oxo - here it is:

Oxo/PC666 - I don't want to pull in on Whittaker Avenue as it'll be hard to get out again.

Can I meet you outside the little cinema(not the main big Odeon, and not the Filmhouse), on Red Lion Steet, opposite Pizza Express? I can pull in on the corner where the bus's come out of the bus station and you can stand near that corner. Does that make sense?

suejoneziscalmernow · 13/09/2006 17:25

am too scary. [scary emoticon]

xoxoxo · 13/09/2006 17:28

no problem. see you outside small cinema opp Pizza Express at 7.10

fatfox · 13/09/2006 17:44

Oxo - faberoonie

BigKat · 13/09/2006 20:01

Hi MrsBigD,
Not sure if you remember me- I was the Dubai expat on her way home......well, hooray, I got back a few days ago. Have been getting organised at home over the last few days - my house still looks like a shipwreck, but we' re getting there.
I would love to come along on Friday, if its not too late to squeeze me in. I will have a sister in tow too, if that is okay. She is visiting from Norwich for the weekend for a bit of a family get together...

Paddlechick666 · 13/09/2006 22:39

ooooh, i'm getting a bit nervous now!

dh is getting excited about having an Indian delivered!

rotflmao!!! he thinks he's gonna get dd in bed and eat his dinner at a reasonable hour in peace!

oh chortle chortle chortle!

sorry to be mundane but are we doing smart casual (aka something reasonably clean but not necessarily ironed) or glam (aka something reasonably clean and ironed)? i can do the former but may struggle with the latter.

also FF as per other thread "i'll go wherever i'm told"!

PC666

MrsBigD · 14/09/2006 07:14

PC666 reasonably clean unironed will do for me LOL the last time I used the iron was to put the name tags into dd's school uniform. Can't remember though last time I put iron to one of my gaments...

OP posts:
xoxoxo · 14/09/2006 08:05

pc - we have kids , and thus an exzcuse to go out with dribble on our clothes and slightly crusty jeans. I fully intend to make the most of this excuse for lack of personal hygiene. I won't be able to do it again until I'm really old and dribbling myself.

Wear your snot covered, unironed clothes with pride.

xoxoxo · 14/09/2006 08:06

...so you'll be able to recognise me quite easily outside the cinema!!

fatfox · 14/09/2006 09:18

I do NOT "do" ironing!

Paddlechick666 · 14/09/2006 09:43

oh good! i shall be in good company then!

i also DO NOT DO ironing, that's what I pay Oxo's cleaner perfectly good money for.

talking of which, she's coming today for the first time......... very excited about going home to

  1. clean house
  2. clean sheets
  3. work clothes ironed

note to self: whatever i choose to wear make sure there is room for expansion for when i over-eat!
