Let's start a new thread the old one is getting too long

I'm off travelling 22-29th but before then I hope I'd be able to 'find' some time but probably not in the week leading up to 22nd as dh would probably divorce me

Hi all,

pc - have texted you cleaners number - enjoy!

my, you lot have been busy this morning, don't you have poo or something to clean? We are up for Kew this week. Just spent a morning at Kew Retail Park; my mothership.

MrsBigD · 04/09/2006 15:01

just had an agency call me re potential role as Office Manager in the city, experience, foreign language etc. a must for ... wait for it... £25k... yeah right! They're having a laugh aren't they!

Kew this coming weekend sounds good to me assuming there won't be torrential rainfall

quokka · 04/09/2006 15:02

will be there on Wed xoxox if you want to meet up?

xoxoxo · 04/09/2006 15:04

£25k.... is that for 2/3 days a week?

Does anyone know how to get 2 hyper kids to bloody nap?

quokka · 04/09/2006 15:05

medised

xoxoxo · 04/09/2006 15:06

Quokka: wed morning is good - have school home visit in the afternoon so must get home and scrape some muck off the floor, flush the loo and generally try to look like clean household.

xoxoxo · 04/09/2006 15:07

but I've already taken my medised! It's still intolerable!

quokka · 04/09/2006 15:07

whats a school home visit?

MrsBigD · 04/09/2006 15:08

xoxoxoxox no that's for a full on 5 day week!

have some more medised or failing that... a bottle of wine

OP posts:
fatfox · 04/09/2006 15:08

Oxo - sadly no, how about Medised?

I can't do Kew Gardens this Saturday, as am taking the monsters for their single jabs in Eltham.

MrsBigD - thanks for the details of the Sunbury clinic, it spurred me to make an appointment; but somehow I've still arranged to drive all the way across London - it just seems easier to go on a Saturday, rather than evenings which is when the Sunbury clinic do them

quokka · 04/09/2006 15:09

In regards to the toilet -
if its yellow let it mellow
if its brown flush it down

MrsBigD · 04/09/2006 15:09

advantage of doing them in the evening... kids fall asleep on way home and unceremoniously get dumped in bed LOL

OP posts:
fatfox · 04/09/2006 15:12

If its blue, its not poo!

xoxoxo · 04/09/2006 15:13

quokka - school visits the house ostensibly to make contact so that child knows a familiar face when he starts school.

Reality is that school is way over-subscribed so they want to check that you live where you say you live and have not just taken over a friends address to be within catchment area. Silly thing is that they give you the time of visit so if so inclined to lie anyway you can still mantain the illusion.

Sod of it is that my cleaner comes on monday - so by wed it is well and truly trashed.

fatfox · 04/09/2006 15:14

I've promised them a MacDonalds (boo! hiss!)afterwards for letting the nurse torture them

xoxoxo · 04/09/2006 15:15

fatfox - what the hell are you feeding those kids??? blue poo?

MrsBigD · 04/09/2006 15:15

fatfox there's a big McD on the way back from Sunbury LOL

OP posts:
fatfox · 04/09/2006 15:16

Oxo - yes, well it saves buying one of those blue toilet flush things

Uwila · 04/09/2006 15:18

Jeez... some of us have to work, you chatter boxes!

fatfox · 04/09/2006 15:18

Mrs Big D - how easy is that Sunbury place to drive to?

I've paid DH2000 for the jabs now, so will have to go there but they still need a mumps jab/booster at some point.

xoxoxo · 04/09/2006 15:18

It's sunny - how come we are all inside on teh computers? Sad, sad, sad.

Uwila · 04/09/2006 15:20

Fatfox, it's very close to me. So if you come to Sunbury must come round my place afterwards. It is very close to Sunbury Cross, so where the 316 changes into the M3.

xoxoxo · 04/09/2006 15:20

uwila - I remember work.
endless coffees, great lunches, peace and quiet........ wine after work.... sleep on tude going to work...

lucky lucky you!!!

MrsBigD · 04/09/2006 15:20

I'm just killing time at work LOL

Sunbury is pretty easy, turn left Gipsy corner towards Syon HOuse, follow big road till some roundabout turn right, next big roundabout go round turn left et voila there you are LOL defo easier than Eltham!

quokka · 04/09/2006 15:22
