Let's start a new thread the old one is getting too long

I'm off travelling 22-29th but before then I hope I'd be able to 'find' some time but probably not in the week leading up to 22nd as dh would probably divorce me

hi MrsBD

i found a better description of the event here and it states ages 3 - 6 so I reckon you'd be fine.

book early - limited spaces!

I'll organise the Baby Balloon one in January and I think the following dates would be best

Tuesday January 2nd 3pm show
Saturday January 6th 3pm show

tickets are £15 and admit 1 child & 1 adult. Spare adults without a child (ie: dads maybe?) are £10.

CAT me if you want to come to Baby Balloon!

Uwila - I absolutely luuuuurve the states, we go every year and almost moved to NJ b4 DS was born. Changed our minds after I realised I'd miss family & friends too much.

Thanks BigD - What I meant to say was I'm no good at links.

Got to rush off now...

2Cute · 19/09/2006 14:06

how did you do that Oxo? Am I the only link virgin left on this thread now??

2Cute · 19/09/2006 14:09

really got to go now, make lunch then off to Teddington pool.

xoxoxo · 19/09/2006 14:16

is there a smiley for smug grin?

quokka · 19/09/2006 14:20

oh no we've created a monster

MrsBigD · 19/09/2006 14:35

2cute links are pretty easy IF you remember to put the \link, infront of the www and use the correct squiggly bracket

otherwise it's pretty much like the describe in that blue quare box at the bottom of each posting thread
'To insert a link to a web site, type
description - where url is the .... address of the site, and description is the text you want to appear in your message. So to link to bbc news you could type
have a look at this '

Hey quokka, thanks for your description! I have possibly the biggest pushchair in the world! So if someone bumps into you whilst maneovering (?) the range rover of chairs, then that's probably me!

xoxoxo · 19/09/2006 18:32

Hey Quokka see this

fatfox · 19/09/2006 19:32

Oxo - I'm rather surprised at you! Although that link does offer a rather good insight into the sensitivities of the male psychi.

2cute - I'm a link virgin too and we've got to promise each other we'll stick together, OK?

fatfox · 19/09/2006 20:00

Sue - just to let you know that our CM seems to be interviewing rather a lot of people a the moment for her Feb vacancies (she has two now), so probably best to get in there soonish. She doesn't charge retainers or anything nasty like that.

Am going on a jolly to Birmingham for the next two days. Why is it I feel more worried about the possibility of not being able to get internet access to get on MN than at the thought of being away from the kids and DH for two days?

suejoneziscalmernow · 19/09/2006 23:16

Thanks, will try to find time to call her tomorrow.

2Cute · 19/09/2006 23:46

FF - I'm off to Birmingham for the weekend, Bromsgrove to be exact.

I'm going to have to give in to the pressure and try out this link thing especially seeing as BigD's kindly given me the instructions. (Sorry FF but all the other cool kids are doing it ).

2Cute · 20/09/2006 00:15

Wooohoo, I did it! Here we go, a separate thread for day time meets...

Day-time meets

And off goes the L plate! lol

fatfox · 20/09/2006 06:14

Whhoooar - I'm the only one left unable to do links!!!!!

Starting to feel insecure and wonders if I'm less intelligent than other posters, or perhaps just less courageous. Wonders..."has something in my upbringing made me unable to do links?"....

Does this make me a "failure"?

quokka · 20/09/2006 07:51

PMSL oxoxoxo! Ds1 looked very impressed also and gave a big cheer when the flames came out . It may confuse him a little as we are potty training at the mo.

Go on FF just jump in and do it, you know you can.

Pud see you there

suejoneziscalmernow · 20/09/2006 09:33

Foxie - your CM's number is on my (currently dead) mobile phone - could you email me her number again on suejonez at aol dot com, please.

Ta

sfxmum · 20/09/2006 09:50

hello getting a little confused by the multiple threads
now that i don't have an office and time to browse unninterupted by toddler, its hard to keep up.

so far it seems everyone is discussing links and lighting farts - ok

PC666- about the bf like it was said someone to check would be great, i think when they get teeth they try to adjust, mine gave me a couple of bruises , not to mention bites a few times.

not much sleep here its been a week since dd got her MMR,she spent most of yesterday and last night fighting a fever. quite relieved that she seems to be back to her old self
