MrsBigD · 24/08/2006 13:20

fatfox · 24/08/2006 13:40

At least I know what you look like now anyway, so I won't take the wrong woman to suejonez!!

I'm long, fat and ginger

suejonez · 24/08/2006 13:49

Paddlechick666 hope the move went well, i lived in Isleworth for years. My first house and fisrt time living in London. Linkfield road near the station.

Paddlechick666 · 24/08/2006 19:38

hey MrsBigD

brilliant website, congratulations on taking your photography to another level.

years ago I studied photography and called myself a photographer but I don't really think I was very good LOL.

I'm quite interested in movie making these days but not a lot of time to experiment at present.

Good luck with it.

Hi SueJonez

We do like Isleworth. Nearly bought here 2 years back but decided to go country.

Obviously an error as we're back here now LOL!

We're just off Worple Road and still struggling with chaos but it's taking shape.

Thanks for the well wishes.

;-)

MrsBigD · 24/08/2006 19:40

PC666 thanks, I'm not very good yet either but as our teacher said... practice practice practice and on a scale from 1-10 give at least 12 LOL

MrsBigD · 24/08/2006 19:48

MrsBigD · 24/08/2006 19:55

bumpmakestwo · 24/08/2006 20:11

quokka · 24/08/2006 20:48

quokka · 24/08/2006 20:50

bumpmakestwo · 24/08/2006 21:05

Thanks quokka. Agree the pics are great, esp of people. I attempted a photography course a couple of years back but didn't get to finish it. Love black and white portraits.

MrsBigD · 24/08/2006 21:23

fatfox · 25/08/2006 09:20

Quokka

Not sure if you've CATTED me, as I haven't worked out how to CAT myself, but you could always text me on 07779-289-041. I can just about text!

MrsBigD and myself will be leaving Ealing about 6.45, so could pick you up at about 7.05 - ish. Will get to Kew about 7.20pm, but need to drop my car and work bag off first and walk round to suejonez if that's OK with you. Its about 7 mins walk from our's - you might even get to meet the little monsters

Paddlechick666 · 25/08/2006 09:29

erm, it's a huge site that covers all sorts of things with forums for relationships, parenting, pregnancy, illness etc etc.

there's a uk and us version and i found it when i was pregnant. there's something called a "mums due in ...." which changes to a "mums club ......" so you can chat with other mums who're pg and delivering the same time as you.

there's also other subjects like breastfeeding support, SAHMs, Teens etc etc

i won't put the link as i don't want to contravene any mumsnet site rules but you can google it and find it i'm sure.

apologies if i have contravened any site rules with this post tho.

PC666

MrsBigD · 25/08/2006 09:38

PC666 I'm sure you're allowed to mention other parenting sites... don't think mn would be worried after all they are the BEST LOL

OP posts:
Paddlechick666 · 25/08/2006 09:44

phew, thank goodness I won't get in trouble!

I must admit I am liking it here immensley even tho I stumbled in by accident!

i just need to find a bit more time to familiarise myself with the site more.

right, off to get DH out of bed so we can finish unloading our 2nd van load.

can ANYONE tell me why DH needs TWO scalextric not to mention heaps of Hornby trains?

EBAY EBAY EBAY!

PC666

xoxoxo · 25/08/2006 09:54

two scaletrix (is that the plural?), hornby trains?? sounds like you'll have a few anoracks to unpack too... clipboards too maybe?

Isleworth is fab: the best butterfly house and aquatic centre are on your doorstep.
And close enough to Kew Steam museum (yeah - we have a few anoracks ourselves).

welcome!!

MrsBigD · 25/08/2006 09:58

PC666 gotta get your dh and my dh together LOL we've got tonnes fo Scalectrix in the cupboard and we used to have heaps of trains too... sold lots of those but still some in storage ... and no anoraks in this household... we're techs

OP posts:
xoxoxo · 25/08/2006 10:01

techs - isn't that what anoracks call themselves to boost self esteem?

anyway nothing wrong with anoracks - I have a few myself - dear god, I even have a kagool.

say it loud, say it proud - 'my name is xoxoxo and I have a kagool'
