repeated the WORD - note to self PREVIEW

Hulababy · 02/04/2004 11:47

LOL WM!

Cheers Helsbels. Will fight you for the chips though

Helsbels · 02/04/2004 11:49

wm, if you are coming from Clay cross - follow a61 into Alfreton then carry on at traffic lights to Watchhorn island, take the exit marked Derby A38 southbound, next junction is Ripley, take 1st exit at that roundabout marked Codnor and follow the road until 1st island, turn right you will see Brewsters and MacDonalds it is signposted for Sainsburys deliveries anyone coming from Derby way ie a38 northbound, take exit for Ripley, then 3rd exit from that roundabout signposted Codnor and follow as above. Hope you all find it!!

WedgiesMum · 02/04/2004 11:50

MY CHIPS - nobody move, they're mine mine mine

Hulababy · 02/04/2004 11:52

Ooops, forget that bit Helbels - coming from Sheffield. So will either come via Chesterfield or via M1. Probably M1 TBH even though it takes me longer to get to it, usually faster once there.

Hand off WM! My daughter = my chips!!! If you aren'tnice I will not give you any cake on Sunday

Helsbels · 02/04/2004 11:57

right then M1 get off at j28, follow signs for A38, Alfreton stay on until Ripley junction then follow my excellent directions as below!!! Same really for Chesterfield, you would come through Clay Cross on the A61 and then follow as below. Just thinking - my DH would pee his pants if he knew I was giving directions as I can get lost on a straight road with no exits!! Thank you for choosing the one place that I can find in my sleep!!

Hulababy · 02/04/2004 12:00

Cheers I know the A38 well as had to drive down it to work every day for 5 years - worked at the school in Duffied at top end of it.

WedgiesMum · 02/04/2004 12:00

Thanks helsbels, good directions EVERYONE ELSE TAKE NOTE.

Have seen the place on my way to and from IKEA

You'll be lucky with the chips

CAKE!!!!! Now you're talking........

Hulababy · 02/04/2004 12:03

The cake is a Disney Princess one WM - what else! - so no doubt sickly sweet, but we can force it down anyway!!!

Hulababy · 02/04/2004 12:06

Do have one problem though about Sunday. Ordered loads of alcohol (not just for Sunday honest) - 18 bottles of wine; 20 bottles of beer -. They tried to deliver yesterday and for some reason didn't leave it with concierge. Now they can't deliver until Monday/Tuesday (out both days) and won't let us pick up till then either. Aaarrrggghh!!! Will have to go shopping and buy even more alcohol now.

WedgiesMum · 02/04/2004 12:09

Is it pink - that's my favourite (if you eat too much it turns your poo pink - DS had a tellytubby cake for his 1st birthday and his poo went blue....)

WedgiesMum · 02/04/2004 12:10

How awful having to buy lots of drink.......and then forcing yourself to drink it........

Helsbels · 02/04/2004 12:16

how upsetting for you...more wine, Sainsburys have an excellent red/white offer at the moment. £6.99 reduced to £3.50, an australian chardonnay and shiraz - they are both quite gluggable!! Called something like Toplinna or well, it begins with a 'T'!

Hulababy · 02/04/2004 12:20

Yuk WM!!!

I know, darn shame - so much to drink. How ever will I cope?

Aelexya · 02/04/2004 14:22

OK I should be in for the Brewers Fayre meet .... quick qu ... will have both kids and might bring DH (make it a family day out) anyone any objections?

(Have never attended one before so don't want to drag DH along if he's not welcome ROFL).

Em

fairydust · 02/04/2004 15:08

hi all we're staying for lunch

Hula is the cake from Sainsburys????

WedgiesMum · 02/04/2004 15:18

If your DH comes Aelexya then we can leave him in charge and nip off to the bar

WMxxx

ps I'm quite happy for him to come, more the merrier........

Hulababy · 02/04/2004 20:13

Have no objections to your DH coming at all.

FD - I got the cake from Asda but they do the same one in Sainsburys. Did you have the same?

fairydust · 03/04/2004 09:05
