I'm defo going, as I started the thread, altho would prefer about 10am start or even 10.30am, but if I really have to can make it there for 9.30am. Just if we make it 10.30 we can have 2 hrs then lunch at 12.30 which I know would suit me, JHR, Hula & Easy as that's what time we had it last week.

Mez - it's : & o(lowercase o, not zero) p.s. text me for a get together, I'm always at me ma's I was there today

Mez if I don;t pick up JANHR, if you got to mine I could take you and then drop you off as I can always go to me ma's after

Janhr you cheeky bugger, oh I come second place to RD do I, charming, thanks MATE but you know you can have a lift,

SO I count seven mums already, RB,JHR,Hula,WM,FD,HLBLS,Easy (poss Jagienka - 8, poss Nutty-9??)

I need to email Mingle she might come too.

Fingers ache now after all that

Ladies

Have we decided on a time, we had discussed 9.30 or 10.30, I know I would prefer 10.30.

It's open to the Majority

Luck forward to meeting you Chrissey.

Not sure on time decision yet. I don't mind - will do whatever is best for majority.

If I do make it, 10.30 would be better as i'll be coming on the train.

JanHR · 03/03/2004 22:00

10.30 suits me better than 9.30. I will need to get the 8.30 bus from home anyway. I don't fancy trying to get DD up and out ant earlier

Report
JanHR · 03/03/2004 22:02

sorry posted that on the wrong thread RB will ofcouse be picking me up, so whatever suits her.

WedgiesMum · 04/03/2004 11:40

Doesn't matter to me, I can do either with my two.

Report
Ronniebaby · 04/03/2004 14:28

Janhr - of course I'm taking you.

So lets make that decision NOW 10.30, is the favourite time, so we'll go with that.

Finally managed to get onto Mumsnet. Bloomin computer has been playing up and finally gave up yesterday so is being mended. I am on DB's crusty, old and very slow laptop but it is doing the job (just).

Have spoke to Ronniebaby today and yes I can definately come this time. Have checked everything and am not doing anything else. If the kids come home as tired as they did today it will be great:0

10.30am is fine with me. If there is a biggish group going can we not book in advance. Oh and can I come for lunch afterwards.

JanHR · 04/03/2004 21:18

Okay, have just read the whole thread. That seems a really good deal. Don't know whether dd will be walking by then though. Will have to get a motorised walker

Hulababy - have been trying to find the original thread but have given up, was then going to e-mail you but am on my brother's computer and can't find my address book whilst accessing my e-mails remotely. Anyway I just want to say thank you very very much for the buggy driver. I read your warning and put it straight into dh's car when he took her home today:0 She loves it in the car and it will hopefully help to entertain her when we go on holiday. Thank you Thank you Thank you. You must be a really nice person and I do hope we will meet someday.

Oh and did I say thank you!

Hiya.

Mingle you will meet Hula at this meet up, she's always with us. Also I bet J loved you after putting that driver in his car, you evil woman. Really enjoyed today and so did DS, he likes your house and wanted to come back with you, but he has Pre-school so couldn't.

Food, we had food at the last meet and it was a really good thing to do, so defo up for that

Has anyone heard from Easy recently, I must email her, see how she is and ask her if she's coming.

I'm rather concerned that were gonna have to wait for ages - plant happy isn't that big of a place and gets really really busy in the holidays

Report
Hulababy · 04/03/2004 22:40

Really FD? And is there no way we can book? Argh!!! I can make it earlier if need be but I know it's hard for some others.

If we tried to get there for 9.30 I'd be leaving the house at around 8am, as I will be picking up Janhr on the way past and have to battle thru work traffic.

How many people do you know get up that early in the morning in the Holidays???

If need be, I can get there just for about 10am, but then the 2 hours play means we finish at 12pm, bit early for lunch.

Otherwise, those that live close can get there at 9.30 and the other get there between 10am - 10.30am.

So's to recognise those we don't know we could come up with a badge or something to say we're mumsnet.

That's me finished rabbling.

I'll leave it open to the floor.

Hi everyone, sorry been busy organising the Swap.

Yes, I'm definately aiming to be there (are we still talking about Apr 8th, or have I missed something?)

10:30 much preferable to 9:30, too early.
Worried about having to wait to get in tho'. Nightmare time. Ripley has a brewsters pub with play area, would that be an alternative?

Report
fairydust · 05/03/2004 18:23

brewsters playarea isn't that good - it's very small
