Sorry Ronniebaby - not been on Mn much or MSN this week yet. Was busy sorting out photos into albums Monday night (long overdue) and then doing Parent's Evening until late last night - had to have tea/wine after that

Mingle · 31/01/2004 09:32

Hi, is it okay if I join you on 19th at Derby. I have got ds (3.6 years) and dd (11 months). Ronniebaby has met me before, so she will vouch that I am at quite a normal mum!

Ronniebaby · 31/01/2004 14:34

Mingle, I'm not vouching for you, in case you turn out to be a nutter (only kidding sweetie).

Mingle you are very welcome to come along, my DS is looking forward to seeing your DS, he asks about him.

mez75 · 06/02/2004 15:37

mez75 · 06/02/2004 15:44

Hulababy · 06/02/2004 15:46

Me too. DD loves soft play and this one looks gret. I just relish the chance to have a chat anytime too.

JanHR · 06/02/2004 16:07

(through gritted teeth....) Have a nice time....

easy · 06/02/2004 16:25

do you know, I have read thru this whole thread and I know you're doing something on 19th Feb, but I have no Idea what, or where?

Would it be suitable for me to bring my 4.5 y.o. ds, and me on crutches?

I'd be driving from nottingham, can pick someone up if they like,

Help

WedgiesMum · 06/02/2004 16:32

Hiya easy

It's at a place called Bumpi's in Derby and the details are quite near the bottom of the thread as to how to get there, if memory serves it's 10.30 meet with possibility of lunch afterwards. I think you'll be fine as the others going that I know are lovely and will help loads if you need it (Hula, Jan and Ronnie). Ronnie has a DS who is lovely and I'm sure will get on well with your DS. You may have noticed that I'm not going (not that I've made any fuss at all of course!!! ) otherwise I would have offered my support too!! I'm sure that you'll get loads of offers (IYSWIM).

WMxxx

easy · 06/02/2004 16:36

Cheers Wedgie, I'd gathered you can't go, maybe we can do another thing another time, would love to try for the zoo at easter, even if I have to sit on a seat and let you all go looking round and back to see me from time to time. DS lurves twycross,

Just making sure there is disabled access at Bumpi's, might try to make it.

Hulababy · 06/02/2004 16:39

Easy - I am sure your Ds would love it and I am sure you'd be okay on crutches too. A summary of the details for you:

Bumpi soft play in Derby; map on website too

Thursday 19th Feb
10:30am onwards; I am planning on staying there for lunch too. Think some of others are too.

Prices for about 2.5 hours during holidays:
Babies(until walking): Free
4 or under £3.50
5+ £4.50

Hope you can come

I have met JanHR and Ronniebaby before and they are both lovely, as are their respective DD and DS. I have a 22mo DD who I think is lovely too

Hulababy · 06/02/2004 16:41

Easy - there must be something for disabled access as they knew that FD's DD has CP and didn't question it. Not quite the same I know but...

easy · 06/02/2004 16:43

Thanks hulababy,

Yep, if we come we'll try to stay for lunch too.

I tried to do a meeting last June, just before my leg broke. do you think I'm tempting fate?

Hulababy · 06/02/2004 16:45

Was that the one with me and WM at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, or the first Derby meet at Markeaton Park? I vaguely remember. How are you know?

easy · 06/02/2004 16:49

Yes I think it was the sculpture park, and dh had to post for me crying off, cos I was in hospital by then.

I started walking just before Christmas, and now using crutches. I was 6 months non-weight bearing, so the muscles are all still a bit weak, and I have to concentrate to balance, but gfetting there thanks

easy · 06/02/2004 16:50

of course, it wrecked my typing skills too
