Hi I live in Milton, with 2 boys, 4yrs and 5mths. I know of one other MNer from Pompey, but are there any other mums/mums-to-be around this way?

Hi jaspersslave, how you doing? Maybe we could get together down the park, and have a picnic adn a chat while the boys play football or something. Let us know what you think or if you have any other ideas.

Jaspresslave - How about the beginning of next week? Monday or Tues see what the forecasts are like. I don't mind which park, I'm a touch closer to Bransbury, but Milton parks only 5 mins walk away too if you're closer to there. (I'm near Locksway Road)

yeah that sounds great to me im in prince albert road so there all about the same distance but i think milton park is the best. if you email me we can swap phone numbers which will make it easier to oganise because we will have to work round the weather. [email protected]

Hi everyone how are you all, had to scare some teenagers away from the park at the Lido today beause they weren't letting the little children play on the slides and they trapped ds1 in the tunnel slide so ver Angry.

tjacksonpfc - just realised your ds is same age as my ds2, so birthdays must be fairly close, his is 8th Nov, whens yours?

hi garfields girl we get down there as often as we can we are going down this weekend for the weekend only overnight though my ds bday is the 28th oct hopefully we will move back down that way shortly as i love it there and really miss going to fratton park every week.

Hi april, how are you doing?, there seems to be a few of us around in Milton. Looks like we'll have to rry and all get together next half term or something?

tjpfc - know what you mean about loving it here. I don't think i could live anywhere else. I love being in a city, and i love being so close to the beach, where else can you get that? I took ds1 to his 1st Pompey game the other week. It was the 'Boro game, and he really loved it, really got into teh singing, and was singing 'We are staying up' for ages afterwards! Quite gutted about the weekends game tho, cos on of our friends can't go, so gave his season ticket to another mate, adn his sons to someone else. It would have been great if he'd offered it to me, then ds could have gone again. I'll def be taking him a few tines next season.

I no what you mean about the fratton park atmosphere garfields girl i worked there for 10 years but my dd and ds have yet to sample it but they soon will do i am sure.

Hi Garfields mum, have only just found this thread, I havent been on mn for a while. I didnt realise there were so many of us in Portsmouth, i thought we were the only two.

Did you ever meet up with the southampton mums or did it all go to pot in the end, i havent seen any meet up threads from them since.
