pebblemum · 13/09/2006 13:46

Luchtime sounds good to me.

Sophiev73 · 13/09/2006 13:48

Hooray, glad ticket crisis averted... How about after lunch, say 2ish? Or did you all want a picnic? I'm still at midday naps with ds1, so a bit later suits me, but that's just me...

pebblemum · 13/09/2006 14:07

As long as im back for when ds1 gets in from school I'm fine.

Sophiev73 · 13/09/2006 14:10

Oh sorry didn't think about that. Morning better?

morsie · 13/09/2006 15:44

i'm easy with whatever time...at some point I want to try out the baby gym session in chichester on friday mornings as is supposed to be really good but I never seem to be ready in time to get up there for 9.30! Have any of you been? Or do you go to Messy Tots on a Monday at the hall in which case I may already know you

Sophiev73 · 13/09/2006 17:44

Morsie, what hall is Messy tots? Been looking for something to do on a monday...

morsie · 14/09/2006 08:58

Morning! Nice weather eh! Milton Village Hall - if you walk out the back of the park towards the library its just by the loo's ( nice!) Its £1 from 10 - 11.30. Bit of playing around for an hour with lots of toys and painting etc then snack then singing ( badly and out of tune by all) It is a good atmosphere though and everyone is very friendly...

GarfieldsGirl · 14/09/2006 10:41

Oh yes, lovely weather morsie! I take it you meant Chichester Road, not Chichester itself? We go to Tumbletots which is great, a bit more expensive than all the others, but they never seem to match up.

I expect you're well on your way to MK by now pebblemum, have a fab time! I'll keep my fingers crossed for the weather for you.

Sophiev73 · 14/09/2006 10:44

OK Garfield'sGirl I must know you as we go to Tumbletots as well! Must say the Milton Hall things sounds cool may well give it a go...

morsie · 14/09/2006 11:17

hi garfieldsgirl..i did mean chichester actually...theres a thing at the Westgate Leisure Centre. Never actually been but a friend goes and says it is really good. Have you been to the pool there? its fab with good changing rooms and a baby slide for toddlers.

Sophiev73 · 14/09/2006 11:27

That pool in Chichester sounds nice - we've been hiring the immersion pool at Victoria 'cos it's nice and warm for my 12week ds2, mind you ds1 would love a slide! How warm is it? Could ds2 cope d'ya think?

morsie · 14/09/2006 11:33

theres a small pool which is warmish which has the baby slide in..Didn't use it when my DS was that little but i have seen tiny babies in there who don't look too blue! there is a warmer shallow splash area as well as the big normal pool. There are good family changing rooms which have drop down baby change thingies and seats attached to the walls with straps that you can strap bigger babies into - also one of those in the showers so you can shower and be safe.

GarfieldsGirl · 14/09/2006 17:21

Sophie, we go to the Cosham Tumbletots as we're still at Gymbabes level. Aaah! Morsie, you have a friend there, that makes sense! And there's nothing like that here either really.

Sophiev73 · 14/09/2006 19:41

Hurrah dh reading bedtime stories, ds2 asleep and glass of wine in my hand - just off to browse the threads... GarfieldsGirl we just graduated to Tumbletots proper and it's scary - full of rules and regulations like 'sit down', 'listen' and 'don't play yet' which are going down a treat with my loony 2 year old! Nearly dislocated his arm pulling him off the trampoline... Bet Pebble's having fun tonight! have you started getting ready yet?

GarfieldsGirl · 14/09/2006 20:37

Yeah, def have started getting ready. My friend and I are on MSN on sorting it all out. My dads dropping us off at the coach station in southampton (I couldn't leave dP without a car all day) and she didn't want to drive up. You have to leave your car at Leisureworld, then its a 15 min walk to the coach station. I DO NOT fancy that at 3am!

we did TT with ds1, he was always really good, always sat down, did as he was told, stayed still at songtime, but ds2 will be totally differnt I expect. He's a little wriggler!

Are you still on a high today pebblemum?

OP posts:
pebblemum · 15/09/2006 10:47

Morning!! Well what can i say- Robbie was great. We had no rain whatsoever once we got there, we found a perfect place to sit in full view of the stage, and we all wore pink flashing cowboy hats so we looked really sad!i had a great time!! We didnt get back until 2am, luckily we were near the car park gates so got away quickly.
GarfieldsGirl, you will love it. Basement Jaxx were great too. I would take a lot of money if you are thinking of buying things there. A portion of cheesy chips is £4, t-shirts start at £22 (there was a really nice track style jacket but itcost £60 and ws very thin)Oh and if you want a program they bring them round the crowd £5 a go. On the stalls they sell bigger books for £12 but they just have pictures (i ended up buying both )

Im just about to go shopping then i think i will have a nap, im knackered. Ended up with toothache after i got home so havent had much more than an hours sleep all night-still robbie was worth it

GarfieldsGirl · 15/09/2006 12:55

I'm just sooooooooooooooooo excited. I keep checking that my tickets are still there! I'm glad you told me about the prices, was going to take about £50, I knew the progs were £15, but I think I'll take a bit more!

We are really going to bore Morsie & Sophie next week! Sorry gals!

OP posts:
Sophiev73 · 15/09/2006 15:23

Yes, is now a good time to mention I'm not a Robbie fan?? I'm sure he's great live though... Hope you have a fab time.

GarfieldsGirl · 15/09/2006 17:37

lol Sophie! We'll try to keep quiet about him!

OP posts:
pebblemum · 15/09/2006 18:32

Ive bored dh silly going on about the concert already, so much so that he has dragged himself into work tonight. If i knew that was the way to get rid of him i would have gone to see robbie sooner

Im looking forward to our meet. Im happy to go along with what everyone else decided in regards to location/time etc.

Have fun tomorrow GarfieldsGirl, i hope the rain stays away for you. I could imagine it could turn out like glastenbury ie a mud bath if it rained too much especially of you are sat at the bottom of the hill!!!

Sophiev73 · 15/09/2006 18:49

Ha ha have visions of GarfieldsGirl disappearing in a pile of mud at the bottom of the hill!!

GarfieldsGirl · 16/09/2006 07:37

The forecast for MK today is fine so lets hope thats right. Not too bothered about mud, my main concern is this...Are the Portaloos emptied daily? There's an image for you Sophie! Lets just hope you're not reading this at breakfast!

OP posts:
Sophiev73 · 16/09/2006 07:40

Mmmm thanks for that image! (Soph looks at her tea suspiciously...) Skies are a bit gloomy here aren't they - mind you I'm sure it'll be ok for you. Have fun, sing after me 'Above it aaaaaalllllllll...'!
