OK, so who would be interested in another Northern "lasses" meet up.

I'll own up and say I'm completely bombed out pre Christmas, and my idea of fun isn't fighting the Xmas shopping crowds to find lunch + and I need something to look forward to in the dark and dreary days of January, but that doesn't stop the rest of you meeting up before hand, if you want to. I promise not to sulk.

ninja hasn't confirmed (though did say she would put it in her diary???), oliveoil isn't coming (booo!) because she turns into a pumpkin at 4 o'clock apparently.

eyelash, sorry, can't help at all re trams/parking from your side. Tram good idea though, we pick it up at Bury sometimes coming in from Lancs.

eyelash - there's a car park at the back of Kendal's - King Street, an NCP one.

Really want to make this now but boyfriend plays football on Saturdays and daughter is, selfishly, going to a party until 5 o'clock! I'll see if I can come after that - what time are you all staying until? You'll all be kale eyed won't you and I'll have to put a fixed grin on as though I don't mind being sober Will let you know later if I can come.

Ooh, yes, Tinker, do try (bring BF!!!! I feel proprietal towards him - in the nicest possible way - because of the last one, and would love to meet him!) - not sure how long Rhubarb and I are staying, it depends on when she needs to get back to Gonzo really, but we will be eating I think so maybe 7.30? 8? (Rhubarb???)

I'm a bit confused so i had to come and ask, how will i know who to sit with tom. I'm probably going to introduce myself to a group of work mates or something, and what if we all don't get on and its embarassing and awkward. Sorry just getting nervous

Boohoo - dp had to work late (he's a nurse) so I couldn't make it. I couldn't complain at him either as he didn't want to work.

Sorry to be so late up, tigermoth - feeling distinctly weak this morning! It was a very good (and very interesting!) night - everybody came except eyelash and gumdrop, but a friend of Rhubarb's from Preston helped make up the numbers and so did dadslib, in the end, amazingly! It was lovely to meet all the new faces and I was so impressed with FF who turned up first, on her own, and managed to avoid accosting any groups of total strangers

lilibet, sorry about the taxi, how bloody annoying, shall we have a whipround for the fare?
I will try to remember to email Bridgewater Hall today to find out about Pizza Huts (hope they don't mind...)
