OK, so who would be interested in another Northern "lasses" meet up.

I'll own up and say I'm completely bombed out pre Christmas, and my idea of fun isn't fighting the Xmas shopping crowds to find lunch + and I need something to look forward to in the dark and dreary days of January, but that doesn't stop the rest of you meeting up before hand, if you want to. I promise not to sulk.

Get yer bum down there Tinker! I'd be lovely to see you again! I'm up for it, Janh is your dh still wanting to give us a lift? If not I'll get the train down. I'm doing quite well with expressing now so leaving Gonzo (don't worry, just a nickname!!! ) with dh shouldn't be a problem.
How will we spot everyone?

How about we all meet between 4-5pm at the main bar on the ground floor? It shouldn't be too busy at that time and I can't see a lot of people hanging around the bar looking furtive! Then once we think everyone has arrived we could all find a table close to the bar, so that if anyone comes in late we should be easy to spot. OR if there is someone who is going to be first in, they could tell the barman that they are expecting a group from Mumsnet and point out where they will be sitting. Then when we arrive we could tell the barman we are with Mumsnet and he could point out the table.

I just didn't think anyone would want to wear a red carnation or anything!

As we don't really know how many will turn up, we'll just say that we'll all be in Moon under Water on Deansgate from 4pm. You don't have to book a table or anything, so we'll just see who shows up!

What does everyone think?
