OK, so who would be interested in another Northern "lasses" meet up.

I'll own up and say I'm completely bombed out pre Christmas, and my idea of fun isn't fighting the Xmas shopping crowds to find lunch + and I need something to look forward to in the dark and dreary days of January, but that doesn't stop the rest of you meeting up before hand, if you want to. I promise not to sulk.

Thanks. I know manchester well as I lived there for 4 years many years ago. And met a friend in the Moon under the water before Christmas.

I will post a note on the Liverpool thread to see if anybody else from Liverpool wants to travel over.

i would have loved to have joined you all but am not up for travelling at the mo(baby had ideas of arriving far too early)and have had to finish work early for rest and relaxation-easier said than done with my 3.5yr old dd but friends are being fantastic....
wishing you all a fab meet up, eyelash is great so hopefully we can all do another meet up after february when i'll be up for the journey...

So shall we all meet at the bar on the ground floor then? I'm sure everyone will be easy to spot! We'll meet there between 4-5pm and if anyone comes after that, we'll grab a table on the ground floor near to the bar, so look out for a large group of women getting slowly drunk! (and one possible guy from Stockport )

Dadslib, it doesn't matter if you want to come, come perhaps you are better at explaining stuff in real life, i doubt you will risk a slap. Whatever anyway lifes to short for all this nonsense and storming off.

dadslib, I wish you would come, even if it is only to say goodbye. These things are much easier to talk about face to face. I know you didn't mean to upset Twinkie, and it would have been OK if you'd just posted once or twice as Mr as a tease, and then reverted to dadslib - in RL you can tell if someone is really upset and not kidding...

FF, when I said face I didn't mean make-up, eek, I don't have any! That was in response to you saying we would "have faces"!

He said on the other thread that he was coming, but he has taken a bit of a battering today and I probably wouldn't blame him if he didn't.
Would anyone else who is going to be turning up on their own like my mobile number so they don't have to walk in on their own and struggle to find us? You could phone me and I would see you outside (that includes you DL!) If so e mail me and I'll let you have it.
I'm not good at walking in places on my own when I do know the people who I am meeting, I would be a nervous wreck if I hd to find you lot!

Lilibet, great idea, I am totally hopeless at walking into places - my brain seems to disconnect from my eyes and I just stand there swivelling! (A bit like the Exorcist in fact...) I'll send you a contact with my mobile too (even though I am coming with Rhubarb, and probably in DH's car, I still might manage to get lost!)

I don't know what happened to juno and dot1? They popped up quite late on so maybe they will come anyway. 8's quite a good number anyway - I've only ever been to one and that was 5 which later reduced to 4.
