I could come on 24th, but if you are all fabulously glam, I may be put off.

TheRhubarb · 04/07/2011 09:52

Rhubarb0 - 17th or 24th
CustardoMightyNonSmoker - I'LL DO ANY I'M A MEET UP WHORE
AddictedtoCrunchies - 17th, 18th or 25th. Can't do 24th.
Thandeka + one womb baby - any weekend fine
Malvapoeding - any except 17th
RebeccaMumsnet - any w/e
MrsFlittersnoop any time
RantyMcRantPants 17th and 24th Sept.
LittleFish - 17th Sept only
Peachy - 17th only as carnivalling on 24th Envy
Tallulah - 17th only no stalkers please!
Kellestar - can do any weekend but has a babeeee
GooseyLoosey - 24th
Rhubarb's nice neighbour

So 11 can do 17th
Mal and Goosey can only do 24th which is a bummer.
As Kellestar's babeeeeee is only little shall we make an exception? Cause he/she presumably won't be picking up bad language at that age or understanding the filthy talk Custy comes out with.

Goosey, neither do I. You'll be fine!

TandB · 04/07/2011 11:14

Me! Me! Me! I live in Bath.
Any Friday or saturday night.

Thandeka · 04/07/2011 11:36

I'm happy with exception for Kellestar after all my womb baby will be five/six months by then and I am counting on Custy teaching him/her rude words so its only fair. (I have an "exited the womb" 18month old too but DH will be in charge that day and probably be hiding from a gaggle of mumsnetters).

Oh and rereading erm- that was "Exit ed" the womb - believe me there was nothing exciting about her exit! ;)

And P.S What is the collective noun for mumsnetters to be called- a gaggle? a brood? a boden? I think we also need to work this out.

Thandeka is getting a bit overexcited at thought of meeting real life people and not cbeebies people!

Thandeka · 04/07/2011 11:42

And I totally didn't mean to bold that I meant to do [action punctuation] but here I think its >

TheRhubarb · 04/07/2011 13:14

Will you take a Brizzle lass into the bosom of your Bath meet-up? I would love to foist the toddler on DH and run away to the Pretty City for an evening of Pinot Collapso.

Any eve but the 10th is fine I reckon.

TheRhubarb · 04/07/2011 16:49

It's the 17th or 24th spout - can you make either of those dates? 17th is looking favourite so far.

spout · 04/07/2011 17:05

Hi Rhubarb - either's good for me. Huzzah.

RitaMorgan · 04/07/2011 17:09

Ooh, I'll come too! Is the 17th a Saturday?

LadyFlumpalot · 04/07/2011 21:21

Can I come? I live just outside Frome, about 30 mins away from Bath. I can do pretty much any Saturday in September.

Wow this is getting into quite gathering isn't it? Now how many will drop out around 2 weeks beforehand? Grin

Frome's nice. I particularly like The Crowman shop.

LadyFlumpalot · 05/07/2011 10:18

Yay! Am excited. Grin

Funnily enough, I'm not too keen on Frome. I tend to head to Salisbury, Bath or Basingstoke for my fun (clothes!) shopping and Shaftesbury (a tadge closer to me than Frome) or Wincanton for my boring food shopping.

crispyseaweed · 05/07/2011 12:12

I would love to meet up in Sept.... do you Bath folk have a date yet?

I live in Salisbury and was trying to get a gathering there but we can all link up as one. . . .
any mature mums coming , I have 2 grown up children and a 10 yr old son....anyone else?

crispyseaweed · 05/07/2011 12:14

....any weekend here....

TheRhubarb · 05/07/2011 12:15

17th I think crispy...

crispyseaweed · 05/07/2011 12:19

17th sounds fine....
any Salisbury mums want to come with me?

crispyseaweed · 05/07/2011 12:20

Where do you think the venue will be Rhubarb?

MrsFlittersnoop · 05/07/2011 12:20

Crispy, I am ancient! Half the students on my course have mothers younger than me! Grin

crispyseaweed · 05/07/2011 12:27

Are ok, so I may not be the oldest mum...lol [joke]

TheRhubarb · 05/07/2011 12:57

The Lime Lounge looks good so far as it's easy to find, not too expensive and has a great rating from the Trip Advisor. But a time and place have not been sorted yet. I suggest you bookmark this thread and keep checking.

Meanwhile - shall we say the 17th then? With major regrets for those who can't make that date but there are more people who can make the 17th than those who can't so I guess we have to take a democratic vote. All those in favour say 'Aye'.

LadyFlumpalot · 05/07/2011 16:21

Aye!

crispyseaweed · 05/07/2011 16:40

Aye !

McDreamy · 05/07/2011 16:42

Aw maybe next time Sad. I am at a wedding in Scotland that weekend. Have a great time!
