Hello my lovlies, I want to meet some bath mumsnetters as i am going to that part of the world to meet the incredible Rhubarb0. few more peeps and it will be pims o'clock

I can do both weekends at the moment and am a 15 minute train journey from there.

Cool - who else can do what dates?

I can do any day except the 17th :)

17th is a Fri, are you ok with 18th?

So everyone at the moment can do Sat 18th.
Littlefish can't do Sat 24th.

Last time I looked Saturday was the 17th ??? or work have made a HUGE cock up.

Yes Sat 17th or Sat 24th.
So Malvapoeding can't do 18th but LittleFish can't do 24th
Let's see how many other people can do which dates.

At the risk of being bossy, can I suggest that everyone copies and pastes their availability to the list below, and re-posts it. It might make it really obvious which date is the most popular/possible.

well this is shaping up.

i dont want to go pizza hut - cos i can go pizza hut anywhere plus its full of kids and not really aimed at wino mum types.

I wouldn't mind going some where different as well. It's been nearly 10 years since I went to Opa, I was pregnant with DC1. The food was lovely then.

My SIL raves about Wagamama's and I have just looked at their website but I must admit their slogan puts me off 'positive eating + positive living' and they've registered it.

I don't know Bath well enogh to suggest anywhere as it is 10 years since I have really been let loose there and things change.

There is a Jamie Oliver if you fancy something less kiddy.

Yes but he'll be pricey won't he?

How about the Lime Lounge, it's recommended on trip adviser and the menu is quite reasonable?

We can then stagger out drunkenly and harrass people on the Royal Crescent!

oh crap I cut and pasted wrong one so it's not got all the other peoples dates on- took me ages as on tiny iPod so can't face a reattempt (can I use my I've been puking all morning and in bed with first trimester knackeredness as a cheeky excuse?)

looking forward to it- jamies maybe a bit pricey? (another imminent mat leave with no SMP this time is making me count pennies!) cheaper wino involved options might be -Pizza express or nandos? Probably bit sad of me to suggest a picnic in victoria park? Plus the weather is probably too risky for it.

Lime Lounge looks nice and resonable.

The Jaime's in Bath is Italian

Jimmys Spices here is all you can eat for £14 each, lots of different foods.

Jimmys Spices sounds reasonable enough an' all. Anyone been to either of them who can say one or the other?

I may bring a neighbour if that's ok? She's lovely, very young and very pretty so will detract from my natural beauty

Now we'd better not have any cop outs the week before like we usually do or there'll be forfeits to do!

Actually the food menu at Jamie's pad isn't that badly priced either.

Jimmys Spices is located in the shopping centre so might be a bit naff for atmosphere.

Jimmy's is upstairs with just a door at ground level, it is in the new posh Southgate development along with other restaurants. Jaime's is in a little alley/shopping arcade off the main shopping street. You cannot book at Jamies so may end up waiting around for a table if they are busy.

Both are very very different places - Jamie's very casual, great food. Jimmy's nice food but bigger and more busy.

Don't mind where we go but I don't like poncy food (ie pea foam on a bed of carrot leaves with a banana jus etc). I shall be coming on the train from Swindon.

..and I'm not thin or remotely stylish.

Wetherspoons do cheap food.....

Summat informal and casual would be nice. Not raw fish or breast of dove on a bed of roasted bonsai leaves. I'm a steak and chips kinda girl, or pizza, or KFC - mmmmm, KFC!
