There's a wetherspoons and I suggest we meet there cause that's where the roughies i.e. the commoners hang out

Lots of good cheapish restaurants in Bath. Depends on what you fancy.

There are a few all you can eat buffet places like Jimmy's Spices or the regular places like Wagamamas and Pizza Express or we could go upmarket but you'd have to ask someone else about those :)

Might not be able to do the 10th as that is DC2's birthday but as it hasn't really been thought about yet I may think about doing a morning party and jump on the train to Bath leaving DH to tidy up. Hmmm! now that sounds good, yeees! that could work

Littlefish I live in Bath, so as long as it is at the weekend I will be home and can come.

Right, can do weekend of 18th or weekend of 24th. Dh has announced that he wants yet another long weekend away cycling from coast to coast in Sept but if it clashes it's just tough, I got here first!

How posh are you lot? What's up with Pizza Hut? Free salad bowl atm. Not been to any of the other places so dunno what they're like.

Both weekends are fine for me .

Not a Rebecca - I have a 50s/60s vintage name which immediately dates me as a Late Boomer. It regularly appears on the "Due-for-a-revival-but-not-JUST-yet" list on the Baby Names thread. Along with Kevin and Nigel etc. .

I think I've run out of excuses.

I can do weekend of 18th but definitely not 24th.

I live about an hour and a half from Bath but would love to use it as an excuse to come down and do a smidge of shopping and visit friends too!
