Jimmy spices or Lime Lounge sound good for me to.

Malvapoeding · 28/06/2011 22:59

I am happy to drop out and leave you all to it if it makes it easier.

TheRhubarb · 29/06/2011 09:30

Hang on Mal, there might be more who can't make the 17th yet. Why can't you make it, what could be more important than a Bath meet-up? Does Mumsnet still have the local pages? Perhaps we can put a meet-up thingy wotsit on there an' all?

Malvapoeding · 29/06/2011 09:33

Rubs - I run a little cafe/tea shop at local events and have that Sat booked :( strangely they won't change the event for me Shock

TheRhubarb · 29/06/2011 09:39

What times are you working? Could you join us afterwards? Some of us will probably there all night Blush

I've listed it as a local event and put date as 17th but this could change if others can't make it then. I guess we'll have to go with the majority on that one. It would be sad if we couldn't meet you though Mal Sad

Lime lounge is blimming lovely. Is that one round corner from royal circus right?

MrsFlittersnoop · 29/06/2011 21:05

Lime Lounge is great! Rated no. 1 on Tripadvisor for Bath restaurants. Not too pricey either, lunches around £7-10 - does steak and chips and posh fish-finger butties too. It's a great location, I love Margaret's Buildings - 'tis just next to the No.1 Royal Crescent Museum where I do voluntary work.

There is an amazing mad junk antique shop opposite Lime Lounge which is like the Cabinet of Curiosities, and a lovely blingy costume jewellery/accessories shop at the end of the street. Plus lots of POSH FROCK shops....

Thandeka · 30/06/2011 08:42

Also is near my DH's work but as we are meeting on a weekend I won't be able to pop into his office for a quick snog!

It does make me laugh how their logo is makes the lounge look like gunge. For ages I was wondering why on earth anyone would call their restaurant "lime gunge" (may just be me!).

Let's do Lime Lounge then?

We may need to prebook they have a fair number of tables but it can get pretty busy but then again I usually go there in a weekday maybe diff at weekends.

RantyMcRantpants · 30/06/2011 09:33

Lime Lounge is fine with me, but then I'm easy Grin

Hello Hello.

I'd love to join you. Free any weekend in September, which is a first as I've not had a free September for years. Bringing the wee tiddler who will be 9 mo.

(potters off to put a note on the calendar)

kellestar · 01/07/2011 21:46

Just noticed the no kids, Doh!! May not be pottering along, no-one to look after the munchkin.

Will follow, just in case. :)

Tortington · 02/07/2011 10:29

OP posts:
Peachy · 02/07/2011 10:36

Tortington · 02/07/2011 10:37

OP posts:
Peachy · 03/07/2011 14:12

Am not on the MN local obviously so keep me updated pleae?

Dh ahs agreed to have kids; now as it's carnival season then and I will hardly see him he owes me big time anyway but he ahs and I will enjoy it immensely.

tallulah · 03/07/2011 14:28

I'd like to come (am in Bristol) but a bit nervous. Last time I went to a meet-up (not in SW) I had someone I'd met following me round the board disagreeing with everything I posted, so obviously made a good impression there.

I suppose I could always name-change after Grin

Can prob do any weekend tho 24th is Wedding Anniv.

Littlefish · 04/07/2011 08:03

Don't be scared tallulah. We promise not to stalk you!
