Ok, a thread to try and organise a Christmas meet.

Suggestions for dates and preference as to what we do. i.e the usual meal/p&ss up and nightclub or something rather more refined? .

flame - look under entertainments then click on the link for 7th Dec - tells you what the food is that night - not the normal menu I think.

flamesparrow · 22/11/2005 19:28

Poo... will look

flamesparrow · 22/11/2005 19:30

Hmmm... not quite so good, but still a reasonable price considering you get 3 comedians thrown in too.

Someone enlighten me... what would a "swiss burger" be???

Merlin · 22/11/2005 19:34

I didn't think that was bad value incl. entertainment. The starters sound yummy.

Swiss burger - mmmmm Swiss cheese maybe?

flamesparrow · 22/11/2005 19:39

Now we just need the rest to log in and see!!!!

OhLittleTWOnofBunnyHem · 22/11/2005 19:50

oooh, merlin, that looks good. Im up for it as long as we can stagger to bumbles after

OhLittleTWOnofBunnyHem · 22/11/2005 19:51

got to shorten my xmas name, too bloody long to type

BunnyHem · 22/11/2005 19:52

did it work

BunnyHem · 22/11/2005 19:52

yep

Merlin · 22/11/2005 20:12

like the name Bunny!

Come on the rest of you - where are you?

DelGirl · 22/11/2005 20:16

I'm up for that. I'll have a look at the menu. btw, your ds left his rattle here Merlin. Will he manage without it until next week?
I'm off again now but if anyone spots surfermum on here can you direct her to my thread on chat please. cheers.

Just read the small print properly and it's £12.50 a head for which you can choose either the selection of starters to share or one of the 3 burgers.

DelGirl · 22/11/2005 20:18

Do you think you can order the pick & mix to share and then order something off the normal menu? Not that i'm being picky and I would have a burger if that's all there is but the other menu sounds good.

DelGirl · 22/11/2005 20:20

In fact, skip the comedian's all together. I'll make you laff and we can eat all the scrummy food

Merlin · 22/11/2005 20:35

not sure - will have to try and contact them to clarify.

catj · 22/11/2005 20:41

Just seen this!!! Mmmm no objections here
(Not that I would being a newcomer)
Is that the church just up from the square? If so I was christened there & my parents got married there too!!

chjlly · 22/11/2005 20:43

I'm happy to go wherever I have a lift & I can drink

(although I don't want to make too much of a fool of myself!)

Merlin · 22/11/2005 20:50

thats the one catj - how weird is that! I'm having a table made from some old wood that's come out of there and one of the pews!

chjlly · 22/11/2005 21:02

Yes Catj it is that one. My parents got marries there & I was christened there too

Frostythesurfmum · 22/11/2005 23:36

I'll go anywhere too!

Catj and Chjlly - Sparkler and I normally share a taxi home, so we could maybe get one between us all?

catj · 23/11/2005 07:34

I don't mind driving cos in my condition I won't be drinking anyway

flamesparrow · 23/11/2005 11:29

So which church is it? I'm all lost by road names You'd never think I was born in Bournemouth would you???

chjlly · 23/11/2005 11:33

It's the old St Andrews Church, just up from Debenhams

BunnyHem · 23/11/2005 11:34

and only 10 mins walk from Bumbles

flamesparrow · 23/11/2005 11:35
