Ok, a thread to try and organise a Christmas meet.

Suggestions for dates and preference as to what we do. i.e the usual meal/p&ss up and nightclub or something rather more refined? .

Hi, places to go out (but they are not in Bournemouth). Hubby has taken me to the following places and it was great.
Calenders at towerpark and Frankie & Benny's that are across the road from tower park, we had a wonderful meal and time at both places. Sorry not much help if you want to stay in Bournemouth.

Parking at Tower Park is a bit of a nightmare at the moment (I expect Frankie and Bennys would be ok though). I've had good meals there too - but I guess it doesn't help much for the going out afterwards.

What about the italian in Broadstone? I can walk and Sparkler can roll down the hill .

I went there a couple of weeks ago - it was lovely! waiters a bit stange at times though!

I could walk too although I'm sure catj would still be a nice sister & give me lift!!

I haven't lived round here for the past 5 years moved to s'ton in 2000 the Scotland for 2 years and now back in Broadstone short term tho as can't afford the houses down here

How long have you been a lifeguard I was one up til about 7 years ago in a few of the local pools!

Probably not then, I'm a beach lifeguard and anyway moved back here 7 years ago.

Ah yes I kept away from the beaches too cold

Did train with beach lifeguards a couple of times for training but prefered pools!

Red Panda (chinese) followed by Jumpin Jaks (if it's open on a Wed night - can't get through at mo) or ....

New place The Landmarc - in old church on Exeter Rd - opening beg of Dec has a Comedy Store night on the 7th Dec. Have a look at this

Oooh, I like the sound of Landmarc!!! Prices I can afford, and comedy sounds good too for us lumpy ladies

actually flame forgot about you pregnant ones - at least you would be sitting down!!! Then those of us that want to boogie the night away later could go on somewhere after perhaps.

Did you check out the website? Though the food was OK for the price. (if you like burgers of course!!!)
