I thought they would probably post tomorrow, was going to have alook at the website. Don't really know! Not thought about it too much as it won't change anything so letter tomorrow or letter Monday doesn't make much difference.

I do want to know too, I really, really do. Have looked on website and can't even find where you would log in for info (I did my application online and you could log in and change it until the deadline) so doubt it is available online. Spiggy said theirs get posted on the 1st so....

hello - feel a bit of a stranger on this board now!! I'm just having a quick lurk to see what's happening! Sounds like you're all having fun... Indith and SPB, are you talking about the school admissions? Hopefully you've got them now and have the right answers.... dd2 got her first choice (tho would have been amazing if she hadn't, given dd1 is there and we live on top of the school in any case - but still nice to have the confirmation).

Will keep watching - we'll be home soon and I will be deffo up for cakes/cocktails or anything else :) - was made redundant just before Christmas (Bit of a It's a Wonderful Life moment there...) so consequently have much more time, for a while at least.

Hello Sticky good to see you! Glad you got the school, is it StM or NC? SPB got her first choice, we didn't so getting things going for appeal :( Don't hold out much hope though as I've heard there were so many applicants this year that even some siblings didn't get places.

hi Indith! Nice to see you too!! Re schools - that's bad news. Not even siblings! That would be logistically catastrophic for a lot of people. Blimey. Is it the one in the village beginning with beginning with E (that is not winning - this could be a crossword clue!!)? One of our neighbours have sent theirs up there and love it, even tho they obviously don't live all that near. Tis StM's for us, yes.

Would your 2nd choice be acceptable?

No not E, I only applied ot the 2 schools in EW.

The 2nd choice is an ok school really and I don't think I would be as bothered if it were dd but for ds I really do think that the first choice is the best place for him. Oh well, we can but try. Maybe I should have bought a box in Fram instead of this house Hmm. Nah we can cope with the school :)

If anyone has experience of the nurseries in the hospital/land registry grounds (KF and LR) I'd be very grateful to hear your views - just been to look round them both.

DS is having an op to unblock the tear duct in his left eye. Keeps weeping and getting infected.

I think the weather might be better tomorrow than on Thursday, though there is a risk of thundery showers around lunch time, it will be overcast all day on Thursday.
