There seem to be loads of us here, so why not? I'm still new (only been here two weeks) so would be great to meet some new faces.

I don't mind what/where/when!...

Argh! DD has been sick. Twice. So I won't be able to come today as I'm going to have to stay at home with her.

I may eat cake at 10.30/11 to join you in spirit Grin

MegBusset · 03/02/2011 13:07

I was the one with the baby boy Isaac BTW x

bronze · 03/02/2011 14:48

Just got home. My Isaac slept from when I got picked up until just now. I'm quite envious of him.
Lovely to meet you all.
Off now to find the a strange woman fed my son cake thread in aibu.

1973magpie · 03/02/2011 15:56

Hi all, lovely to meet you today, and lovely cuddle had with 4mads gorgeous dd Smile Hopefully we'll get together again, and all those that couldn't make it this time can come along too Grin

Hassled · 03/02/2011 15:57

Thank you so much, Meg, for sorting this out - it was really lovely to meet everyone.

Fimbo · 03/02/2011 17:08

Aww maybe next time for me.

Kurri did you go to the Rabbit Hole showing on Sunday and speak to two strange women in the toilets? Grin

KurriKurri · 03/02/2011 17:22

I did go to the Rabbithole viewing Fimbo - but I didn't speak to any strange women - it must have been someone else you picked up Grin

4madboys · 03/02/2011 17:29

ha ha, yes absolutely lovely meet, we must do it again.

as i said on fb, apologies for my cake theif son Blush he is a bit of a handful at the moment, i went to john lewis cafe later to feed dd, and he was chatting up all the old ladies etc, thankfully they all seemed to find him thoroughly charming, but i am waiting for the

aibu mum in town today couldnt control her son thread.....

or i was in a cafe and all i could hear was these women talking about sex and rude things! Grin

really was lovely, esp to have some adult company and a chat and thanks for help with little ones and apologies for pooey nappy incident!

MegBusset · 03/02/2011 17:45

AIBU I went for a quiet coffee and the cafe was overrun by small blond boys Grin

OP posts:
4madboys · 03/02/2011 18:15

i know Blush i did feel bad but there werent high chairs to strap him into and despite being 2 he is a bit big for most of them anyway!

i did wonder if he annoyed the cafe lady? but we were pretty much her only customers, so am sure we gave her good business! or else everyone else walking past looked in and saw the toddlers and thought, i am not going in there! Grin

phaps a more child friendly place like a park may be good when the weather is a bit better?! or else i shall leave the boys at home with dp and just bring dd!

AintMissBeehiving · 03/02/2011 18:19

It was great to meet you all today. Your children are all so lovely! We really need to do it again.

I would like to apologise to those two women in the corner of the Tea Lounge for inadvertantly saying "bumsex" so loudly and startling them. After all, it was only Thursday Morning, not Friday Night. Grin

MegBusset · 03/02/2011 18:22

Aw I thought the kids all did pretty well actually, and yes I bet they sold a lot more cake than normal Grin

OP posts:
KurriKurri · 03/02/2011 18:34

They could put a sign in their window 'recommended by Mumsnet' that will make up for any loss of custom caused by MissBeehiving shouting bumsex Grin

bronze · 03/02/2011 18:48

Now you've met me and know I'm not a hairy trucker (just hairy) I would like to offer up my place for a meet up. That way we wouldn't have to worry about annoying anyone and we have loads of outside space for the kids to go and chase chickens run around or if bad weather a playroom to keep the kids entertained.
I don't mind if people don't want to I'm just putting the idea out there

Rinnyx · 03/02/2011 19:01

You wasn't alone in the poo filled happy fun 4madboys Isaac made one to Grin

Shame its so far out or I would of said that castle carvery place over in bowthorpe in the summer

4madboys · 03/02/2011 19:40

i think a meet up with chickens and a playroom sounds fab, would have to have a think about transport tho as i dont drive..

and yes rinny, the babies did well both syncronising their pooing! Grin they will be a perfect match when older Grin

AintMissBeehiving · 03/02/2011 19:41

Kurri Grin

Sounds great bronze

MegBusset · 03/02/2011 20:14

I missed the bumsex reference so you'll have to shout louder next time Grin

Bronze that sounds great hopes there will be cake

FoundWanting · 03/02/2011 21:45

Well done for getting it all organised, Meg.

I don't usually get the chance to discuss bumsex and vajazzles with others. Grin

Merrylegs · 04/02/2011 11:03
