There seem to be loads of us here, so why not? I'm still new (only been here two weeks) so would be great to meet some new faces.

I don't mind what/where/when!...

MissBeehiving · 13/01/2011 13:21

I live near Aylsham and DRIVE Shock, a tractor natch Wink, so can offer lifts to anyone north or east of Narwitch.

Hassled · 14/01/2011 10:46

I do quite like Frank's Bar on Bedford St - nice and quiet during the day usually. More of a cafe than a bar - and good coffee.

Hassled · 14/01/2011 10:47

Though don't be put off by that godawful website.

FoundWanting · 14/01/2011 10:52

I used to work next door to Frank's Bar when it was a sandwich shop. I'd be interested in coming along, although like Kurri, my hair needs to grow a bit first. Grin

SlowComfortableShrew · 14/01/2011 10:58

I don't know any of you guys but could i tag along pls. I'm in Norwich.

Franks is great but gets so crowded that its a pain with kids...

the deli in upper st giles has fab big tables, or the tea lounge near john lewis has space and toys ( we are talking about a meeting avec kids aren't we?)

bamboobutton · 14/01/2011 11:55

if i can overcome my terrible social phobia i'd like to come.

i need to get out and meet new people before i turn into norman bates or somethingGrin

KurriKurri · 14/01/2011 11:56

I won't suggest - because I'm happy with anywhere - better if those with young children choose what's most suitable. I'm old, my kids have flown the nest - any place you can sit me in a corner with a cocoa and a soft biscuit is fine by me Grin

MissBeehiving · 14/01/2011 12:01

I've added you to the list bamboo, please come.

Like Kurri, I'm fine with anywhere as I probably will have offloaded the DCs be sans enfants.

cazboldy · 14/01/2011 12:09

I don't mind where or when really, but in the week I will have a 3 year old (or possibly no dc if it's a playgroup day, however, at the weekend would have 5 to drag along!

so week days are probably easier for me.

FoundWanting · 14/01/2011 12:22

No DCs to consider here either, they are all at school, but if anyone has got a very small one I'd like to coo a bit.

MissBeehiving · 14/01/2011 12:27
SlowComfortableShrew · 14/01/2011 12:29

I have a nearly 2 year old who is happy to be a granny magnet if there are any around but generally likes to run round eating biscuits and causing havoc to sit quietly on my knee listening and taking in mummy's views on the burning issues of the day.

GiraffeAHolic · 14/01/2011 12:31

Wow a whole load of Norfolkians :)

MissBeehiving · 14/01/2011 12:37

Can I be adding you to my list Giraffe?

MegBusset · 14/01/2011 14:35

If on a weekday would be very handy if it was between 12 and 3, that way I will only have DS2 with me...

Hi, I might be up for this if I'm brave enough on the day! Am about half an hour saarf of Norwich but do drive. Would have 2 littlie's (2 and 3 yrs) unless at the weekend when I can abandon leave them with DH Grin

Fimbo · 15/01/2011 16:07

I can't do weekdays, but don't let that stop you from meeting up!

Anybody on facebook?

GiraffeAHolic · 15/01/2011 19:42

Hmm in theory yes but not sure I'm brave enough and I live about an hour from Norwich (but do drive :))

MegBusset · 16/01/2011 21:56

I'm on FB, if everyone else is then we could always start a little meet-up thread on there?

OP posts:
1973magpie · 16/01/2011 22:04

Bit of a techno plank here - how would I find the thread on facebook? Sorry Blush

MegBusset · 16/01/2011 22:15

I think someone would have to find out who everyone is on FB, then could create an event and invite everyone to it? I think?

OP posts:
Fimbo · 16/01/2011 22:28

I don't mind setting it up if you want to inbox me on here with your facebook name.
