NORWICH new year meet-up anyone?

There seem to be loads of us here, so why not? I'm still new (only been here two weeks) so would be great to meet some new faces.

I don't mind what/where/when!...

Although I am v near the playbarn and have spent many a happy hour there, (am sure all of my kids had their parties there at some stage) I think I will leave that one to those of you with DCs young enough to appreciate it!

Hello fellow Norwichers :)

We are still planning to go to the Playbarn on March 1 if any non-FBers have little ones that they'd like to wear out.

We are also plotting an evening meet so please sign in if you'd be up for that and we can start thinking about dates/venues.

i am up for an evening meet and the playbarn one.

la tasca is lovely, we shall need to think of dates and i shall have to check out dp's rota (he does shift work) to see what nights he is free to look after small people.

In general I can't do Tues and Thurs evenings but the rest are good.

Im not keen on la tasca there is a great tapas bar in madaglan st called torero which is amazing

yes the one on magdalan st was the one i was thinking of!! brain dead, i went there for a birthday a while ago and it was great, we all paid £15 and they just brought out loads of everything the only disappointment was the pudding, quince and cheese?!! Hmm but the food was lovely

Maybe we could take up these places that do deals on meals and a drink.
I often go past the cherry tree on Dereham Road and they adverstise curry and drink for 2 £10

Can I put my name on the list for the evening one, too? Though, evenings can be tricky as DH works evenings, and can be a bit all over the place.

thereisalight, we also have a 'secret' FB meet-up page if you are so inclined. (Will have to alert Fimbo as she joined us all up). If not, keep an eye on this thread and we will try and arrange a date - it worked before and a v successful meet up it was. Top marks for your user name btw!

hi, can i come too? i am new to mumsnet, and also quite partial to the smiths. i would like an evening meting as my dd is too big for the playbarn and my ds is still being cooked. i would love to meet some other norwich mums.
