NORWICH new year meet-up anyone?

There seem to be loads of us here, so why not? I'm still new (only been here two weeks) so would be great to meet some new faces.

i shall be easy to spot, baby in a sling, toddler in a phil and teds, although i may just stick him in a stroller? am thinking foldability for the bus.... and there are pics on my fb, tho the most recent one of me is a few hours before i had dd, so WITH bump, i no longer have a bump, just a muffin top

am sure we will all realise who we are... or else i shall just ask a random stranger if they are from a parenting site....

so do we need a new roll call list?

I quite like the idea of badges, but which name (rl or mn) would we have on them?! I'm terrible at names and next week I'm going to meet a bunch of new people, with not one, but two names each to learn!!

magpie, i too am terrible at names, getting better with some, but generally i find myself thinking of/referring to people as 'mother of' as that tends to be how i know most people

Dont worry experienced I will be the silent one in the corner petrified. I too would be another picked on girl, but not from this area as I am Scottish.

i have made lots of new friends on fb, and bizarely we have some non mumsnet friends in common! and also someone that recognises me i think! who knew the world was so small.

I live over in old catton and will have to get the bus as still learning to drive and DP is working
I have a DD who's 8 and DS who will be 12 weeks Tuesday so would be bringing him along in the pram

If I get the guts to come would someone be willing to meet up before hand as I don't know all of norwich even tho I've been here about 4 years
