Am I too late to say I'd like to come? I haven't been on here for months..had lots going on...but I'd really like to come along again this year but depends on answers to next question.

Last year the very lovely bayleaf found us a very cheap hotel only a few stops on the tube...& it was a triple bedded room we shared so was very reasonably priced when split 3 ways...Those who were thinking of staying overnight, I'd be prepared to room share & save on cost. I DON'T SNORE...HONEST (or do I Bayleaf & Alisa???)Last year was FAB hope to be able to make it again..... Anyone wanna share?

Janstar · 27/10/2003 23:17

YES i like the idea of BADGES cos its ded kitch - i can order them from work, or at least get something stick on - thats unless anyone really hates the idea. i dont think it takes away from the introduction process?

i remember last year everyone ended up calling me custardo rather than my real name anyway!

WWW are you still crossing your legs?

sb34, I was on the verge of sending out the search party for you, haven't seen you post for a while!

WideWebWitch · 30/10/2003 02:00

custardo, if this baby isn't here by then I'll be seriously peed off...so doubt I'll make it realistically. But looking forward to hearing about it.

Hi sb34, good to see you around (that Soupy's quiet too!). No, can't make the Christmas bash, got a lot on around that weekend, unfortunately.
Bet you will have a ball!

Twinkie where in se london are you?

I was going to stay over...but no one seems to want to room share at the hotel...so I too was worrying about the travelling...I'm on the Kent boarders so staying over is definately an easier option for me but i don't want to stay over on my own so finding a travelling partner may be an alternative option

lou33 · 10/11/2003 22:20

Custy sorry I forgot I had posted on this thread! I won't be able to make it, so sorry .

Twinkie - you're welcome to come along with me(I will be with SB34 and LadyP) at the train stn and we can go from there if you want. I haven't looked at the best route in yet but I guess we could meet at Victoria or Charing X. Having met you once before I'm sure I would recognise you again.

bells2 · 11/11/2003 10:07

Can I come along too please?

bells can I share a cab home with you?

LadyP · 11/11/2003 14:15

Don't worry Twinkie. I have only met one other MN (SB34) so you will not be the only 'stranger'. Although, I have known Metrobaby for 17/18 years (scary )

Plus Metrobaby had to talk me into coming last week as I was going to change my mind - chicken, or what?

As long as I am not the only one who will turn up in high-street designer rather than 'real' designer clothes, and will not be not wearing a Rolex, I should fell at home

LadyP · 11/11/2003 14:17

Oops - Should be 'feel at home', not fell.
