I was thinking about this the other day custardo. Last Nov 30th I was at the mumsnet Christmas meet up, this Nov 30th I will have just had a baby, hmmm. So I might make it if it happens in December. Or maybe that's a bit optimistic!

SoupDragon · 26/08/2003 21:02

IT'S STILL SUMMER

bossykate · 26/08/2003 21:28

it's going to be you, custy!

JanHR · 26/08/2003 21:35

Where would it be? Hopefully in a hotel offering discounted accommoation.
If it is in the midlands I can make it as DP will ber able to look after DD for the night

Ghosty · 26/08/2003 21:43

Plenty of time for you all to book your flights to NZ ... In fact why not charter a whole aeroplane ... full of mumsnetters!
If you make it to Auckland then I will organise the meet up!!

Is it my pregnant imagination? There seem to be quite a few of us that were at the last xmas meet up who are either, pregnant or just had babes! Was there something in the water/wine???

fio2 · 27/08/2003 08:07

Tortington · 27/08/2003 20:26

ok lets assume beginning of december weekend( whatever date that is)

hands up who would like to come to a xmas mumsnet meet in london (seems the most sensible place central etc)

venue: i liked last years place it was cosy and inviting unthreatening and we pratically owned the place and could dance round our handbags. any one disagree?

date, numbers, venue .......sorted.

need tentative numbers asap - then i will check availability - but dont want to piss about for a handful of people.

hand up people

Custy, would I not be there?

Jenie · 27/08/2003 20:30

I'd love to go, but will need to know where it is as I don't drive.

WideWebWitch · 27/08/2003 20:31

ooh just typed message and it disappeared. Custy, would hate you to 'piss about for a handful of people' ! my hand's tentatively up, depending on whether baby's arrived etc. I thought Da Mario was a great venue too.

Tortington · 27/08/2003 20:51

Blimey, I can't think as far as next week let alone December. Huge admiration for those who can. And custdy I reckon you'd do a great job at sorting everything out (creep crawl..).

lou33 · 27/08/2003 21:02
