Well I am back. I survived 4 days in a field full of big hairy metal heads
It was fabulous actually, such fun, lovely people and an absolutely phenomenal atmosphere. DP enjoyed it immensely despite being a dance music fan!
Highly recommended. The walk from the car park to the campsite (if you're camping) is a bit problematic if you're not super-fit so make sure you take a trolley and travel as light as you can we didn't I have been going since 2008 so knew what to expect anyway. Without a trolley, there is a minibus that is helpful and you can make more than one trip, just a bit of a pain.
I absolutely did not low-carb, at all
I had wraps DP had made, then a jacket potato the first day (spud man, you are awesome), a pot noodle at the tent the following day, pizza twice, a burger and enough cider to have the NHS thinking I am a full blown alcoholic.
But that's that for this year and I had an amazing time with my friends so never mind.
I wasn't quite ready for 'out of the party' mode yesterday so we got home, showered, unpacked, put a wash on and went to the pub for yet another high carb dinner and wine.
But I have weighed myself this morning and I am still a good few lbs down from starting and I will stay on low carb now with the odd 'day off'.
Today has been about tofu salad with mayo and sesame oil, one poppadum as a snack and dinner will be similar.
