Here's a link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness lovingly managed by @ouchmyfeet.

I've added a couple of names that I've spotted this evening, but they're at the bottom of the list not alphabetised - if your name isn't on the list, add yours at the bottom, and we'll re-alphabetise it once we get going.

Weird breakfast of m&s serrano ham crisps this morning Grin was really craving something salty and I'm not a fan of most traditional breakfast foods.

Put three stone on since the start of lockdown after being so chuffed I was finally a really good weight. Oh well, I know I can lose it, just need to do it again.

H1Drangea · 17/01/2022 08:53

Checking in
I’m on dry January , and have lost the Christmas gain already

Fell off the last 2 Bootcamp ( have attention span of a goldfish )
Putting things in perspective though , this time last year ( in Dark Lockdown , which living in Wales went on forever ) I weighed 12-03 , today it’s 11-07
Still too much , but it’s progress

Waist 32 .5 inches
What else should I keep a measure of ? Any ideas welcome

My feet seem to have got smaller (?) or Clark’s sizing has gone mad , I bought some trainers in the sale , I normally need a 7 and fitted easily into 6.5

Anyway , it must be time for some WATER !

oscarandelliesdad · 17/01/2022 09:00

Hi everyone,
Just checking in. I've added my name to the bottom of the spreadsheet. I was having life issues over the weekend (covid, poorly cat, crap Internet) but all resolving themselves now. Is that OK? Can I be added? Low carb worked so well for me last year but I've just weighed myself and am pretty much back to where I was this time last year. Ah well. Onwards. Good luck everyone

queenofcauliflower · 17/01/2022 09:04

Hello everyone,

I'm not on the spreadsheet but I'd like to join in again please. Thanks for the book/article info @BIWI, that looks really interesting.

I am starting off this BC at 119.2kg, a lot more than most of you so ALL the water to drink. I have that nice determined Monday feeling. Plans for today are:-

B: Nothing (usually try to do 18:6)
L: not sure yet, have a few options
T: h/m bolognaise with grated cheese & ribboned courgetti (I don't bother to cook this, just have it raw with the bolognaise piled on top)

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 17/01/2022 09:07

Morning!

Big thanks to @BIWI & @ouchmyfeet for sterling work Thanks

I'm another one with thread commitment issues, but I love this WOE, & I'm still 17 pounds lighter than when I started.

I find I need a different trick every time I do this, or my ADHD brain just spirals, & I give up. Think I'm going to copy some PPs & fill a carafe, as I'm at home most of the day.

Hope all you poor covid sufferers are feeling ok.

SpottyBumPony · 17/01/2022 09:16

Morning all, thanks to @BIWI and the others behind the scenes.

I've added my start weight, not as high as I thought but still v unhealthy at 269lbs. I love plain water but 4.5L is going to feel like a lot. I don't work Mondays so have started with breakfast of sautéed Kale, Chorizo and Egg - even DH trundled downstairs from his office to say it smelled nice.

Normally I'd take my Mum out with DS on Mondays and we'll stop for cafe lunch so there's the first hurdle to cross Smile

2022sucksalready · 17/01/2022 09:22

Thanks for setting this up. just here to check in. will log my weight now.

Love the idea of an underachieving thyroid @AllTheBlackCoffee Grin

PlantBasedPlatypus · 17/01/2022 09:25

I can’t find the post but there’s info on Vegan Keto protein sources here : meatfreeketo.com/where-do-you-get-protein-on-a-vegan-keto-diet/

For whoever was asking.

Please may I be added to the spreadsheet?

BIWI · 17/01/2022 09:26

Morning everyone!

Glad to see that we're all so enthusiastic and raring to go Grin

Sorry for those of you suffering with Covid, but hopefully you'll be well soon Flowers

@pinknsparkly I'm very glad to hear that you're still non-diabetic. Long may that continue.

@Sockpile fish, eggs and cheese are going to be your friends!

@Fleecy the needing to pee will settle down. And remember, as you lose weight, the amount of water you need to drink will also reduce.

@Zonder you can index your weight if you wish - I'll write a separate post about that shortly

@H1Drangea remember my plea to read all the posts?! I wrote about what measurements to take in one of the early posts on this thread!

@SpottyBumPony hope that you successfully navigate that café hurdle. Is there any way you can see the menu in advance, so that you can make your choice before you go?

LizzyBennett · 17/01/2022 09:28

Morning all - have added my weight to the spreadsheet now. I'd forgotten just how much water I need to drink for my weight and 4L feels a little bit overwhelming, but I already drink 3L of plain tap water but don't count my incidental intake - 2/3 cups of black coffee & I take an electrolyte supplement with a small glass of water so I imagine that's not far off an extra litre.

No breakfast for me - I'm doing 16:8 but I have a food delivery coming today so I'll be having cheeseburger pie with a side salad of spinach, cucumber and green peppers. I'll probably have that twice because I'm the only meat eater in the house so it'll do for a few meals.

@SpottyBumPony - does the coffee shop have preprepared salads? I know it's not the same as a cake/sandwich but a better choice. It won't be high fat enough but you can make up for it at home

CoffeeChocolateWine · 17/01/2022 09:29

Good morning all. Just placemarking on this thread. I've added my weight to the spreadsheet. I had some Greek yoghurt with cinnamon for breakfast this morning and a food shop arriving just before lunch. On the menu today I have salad with roasted red peppers and halloumi for lunch and a seafood stew with kale and broccoli tonight.

Good luck everyone Smile

H1Drangea · 17/01/2022 09:31

Sorry @BIWI , I’ve had a coffee now and will reread 👍

SkunkButRug · 17/01/2022 09:34

Morning!
I can't seem to add my weight onto the spreadsheet so can I leave it here? 257lbs
Hate that. Hopefully will be getting smaller on this plan.

BIWI · 17/01/2022 09:38

@SkunkButRug are you using a mobile? Have you downloaded the app?

OP posts:
Andi2020 · 17/01/2022 09:40

Goodmorning everyone

@TakeItCheesy the water recommended is on the spreadsheet if you tab over the sheets

@H1Drangea for measurements do your arms and chest and I done largest part of stomach

BIWI · 17/01/2022 09:40

Hmm. Just been to check, and I can't use the spreadsheet either. Something seems to have gone awry @ouchmyfeet!

OP posts:
BIWI · 17/01/2022 09:43

Sorry - ignore that @ouchmyfeet! I refreshed the page and it's now working (and got rid of that graph too)

For anyone using their mobile to access the spreadsheet, if you haven't already, then you'll need to download the Google Sheets app

If you're on your laptop/PC, then just the link should work for you.

But to reiterate what @ouchmyfeet said earlier, please only enter your weight and don't touch any of the other cells or columns!

OP posts:
AllTheBlackCoffee · 17/01/2022 09:46

Well you know it's not great news when the scales app on your phone asks you if you are using the right profile as there has been such a huge change since you last weighed in Blush Faced it now and it can only get better, right?!

This is the first time I am focussing on my health rather than vanity. I've always been about a stone above a healthy BMI so not too dramatic, but now I am more than 3 stone over that figure I can't avoid the potential risks I'm facing any more. And at 45, I need to take my health much more seriously than I have in the past.

Today's plan:
B: just coffee, long time 16:8er and on week 3 of BC too
L: omelette with lardons, mushrooms and spinach
D: chicken curry, cauli rice

I had some SLC bread this weekend, a roll on Saturday and three slices of toast yesterday, and boy am I suffering today. Painful stomach and oh so windy too. Anyone else suffer? It's great but might need to be an occasional treat rather than anything more regular!!

BIWI · 17/01/2022 09:49

@AllTheBlackCoffee just a reminder that if you're in week 3 you may not see any loss this week (or next week) so don't be downhearted if that happens.

Sorry to hear about the reaction to the SLC bread. There must be something in the ingredients that your body doesn't like! It might be worth comparing the ingredients with the ingredients in the Low Carb Food company's bread, as theirs is pretty good too.

pinkpinkeverywhere · 17/01/2022 09:50

Morning everyone,
I'm back for my third boot camp after drifting off my second in May last year. I did my first this time last year starting at 174lbs and lost 24lbs which was amazing. During the second one I got to 140lbs and felt incredible. However we then started building work and we lost the kitchen for months and months. I really tried at the beginning but when we were left with only a microwave and I was stressed, I gave up and have put loads back on.
So I'm here to try again, knowing I've done it before and certain that I won't be having a new kitchen again - ever!
Off to refill my water glass.......

pinkpinkeverywhere · 17/01/2022 09:51

@AllTheBlackCoffee my scales did that too, I was quite indignant!

AllTheBlackCoffee · 17/01/2022 09:55

Thanks for that @BIWI, will have a look at the Low Carb Food Co too, so handy if you can have 'proper bread' from time to time. I have half a loaf of SLCB left so will try again in a few days, just in case it's not linked at all and I am being a bit dramatic highly possible

Thanks for the reminder about week 3 too - will bear that in mind next weigh day Smile

SkunkButRug · 17/01/2022 09:57

@BIWI thanks, have downloaded the app and it worked.

BestIsWest · 17/01/2022 09:58

Meant to say Not to put me on the spreadsheet sorry as I don’t have any scales. Have measured all over this morning. Better than I was last April when I started but still a long way to go.

FrenchBoule · 17/01/2022 10:13

Morning 🙂

I’ll log into spreadsheets later in the week as I’m working tonight and tomorrow(nightshift only).

Thanks @BIWI and @ouchmyfeet for setting it up. Thanks to everybody for contributing.

Good luck 🙂
