Summer Low Carb Mini Bootcamp - week 4

Morning and welcome to week 4!

I very much hope that things are going well for you, and that you're into the swing of things low carb by now. This week is mostly about keep on keeping on, drinking all the water and remembering that last week's weight loss stall may still be a factor, as your body continues to adjust to this woe.

As ever, post any questions/issue here and let's see if we can help. I'm looking for low carb and or ntermittent fasting podcast recommendations if anyone has any please.

I'll link the spreadsheet in my next comment.

Just had a situation on the boat...normally I’m quite good, but the sea was a bit choppy and I felt really rough. When we stopped I had my salad but felt so nauseous that I needed something...I ate popcorn Shock
I feel better for it so I’m going to have to just pass that one over. Hope it’s better on the way back

Enjoy your holiday @venusandmars ! And hope you're feeling better @Dellabob123 .

I've had a bit of a revelation :) I LOVE tea with milk and could easily drink 8+ cups a day. I've been reading up on intermittent fasting and all though I'm not quite ready for that yet, I've twigged that having 2 cups of tea with milk first thing as well as in bed before turning in (I even bought a travel kettle so I didn't have to go downstairs) can't be that great for my blood sugar as I'm effectively only fasting for the 7-8 hours I'm asleep if I'm lucky. SO, since my last meal is usually quite early with the children anyway, I'm going to have black tea at night and possibly first thing if I can face it, so I can painlessly add a couple of hours more overnight fasting into each 24hr period. I'll report back if the (slight) intermittent fasting makes a difference.

@Mimosa1 I think a small amount unsweetened soya milk is still considered fasting. That's what I have abs I've got completely used to it now.

Best wishes to everyone tomorrow! Week one for me, 5 days anyway, but looking forward to it. I feel lighter, if that means anything.
