Morning all!

Here's the SoF once again

Hope that the scales are kind to you this morning.

So we enter the last three weeks. Still time to lose some significant weight. But only if you follow the rules!

It's a difficult time of the year, as Christmas goodies start to appear in the shops, and - I'm guessing - at work and at home as well!

You might find it easier to stay focused if you move back onto Bootcamp for the last two weeks, so you're really making sure that the carby stuff that you might have been indulging in - even if that has just been Bootcamp Light.

Sadly not - I don’t tend to drive when glutened as it makes me very fuzzy headed. Though you have just reminded me there might be some frozen sweet potato in the freezer I could make buttery mash with. Will not eat the other half in that case.

twinkledag · 01/12/2017 20:00

Hi all, remember me? Grin

I have stopped doing boot camp but still read every day to see how you’re all doing. Well done to ilove and ragz on 50lbs lost WOW!

And hello to grah and c4 and prettybird, as well as biwi, stunt and wombatoo, and anyone else who recognises me but I may have forgotten to mention!

I have kept some bootcamp principles such as no potatoes, bread (mostly!), pasta and rice but I’m having oat so simple for breakfast at the moment as we’ve moved house and have no hob or oven so I can’t make eggs! Although now I’ve written that I’m thinking I could do them in the microwave Confused . Still loving my halloumi salads for dinner! Grin

I had a roast potato the other day and it didn’t taste as good as it used to! Shock

Maybe I’ll join you for the January bootcamp. Grin

@AveAtqueVale that's quite a lot of carbs you've managed there, talk about going all out Grin

I've had carbs today too (dinner was made by someone else and I'm at maintenance anyway). I feel ravenous now; it's definitely kicked the carb bit of my stomach into gear. When I got home I practically inhaled a packet of pork scratchings.

Rshard · 01/12/2017 20:24

Hope you feel better done ave

Today’s food
B - total ff yoghurt raspberries
L - tuna pate cucumber chicken
D - cottage pie with swede Brussels broccoli

wombattoo · 01/12/2017 21:03

Hello Twinkle

Grin@Scabbersley

Grimbles · 01/12/2017 21:43

Evening all :)

B. Fasting
L. Prawns, Marie rose, pork Scratchings
D. Steak, mushrooms, salad, blue cheese, spoon of mayo.

I was having a mooch around the shops earlier and it occurred to me that I am no longer avoiding certain shops because I feel too fat and frumpy to set foot in them. I am also looking forward to being able to go in knowing I will find stuff that will fit.

HarlotsWeb · 02/12/2017 05:44

Yesterday's food:

B: cappuccino, bacon and sausage
L: avocado
S: olives
D: beef stew

Morning everyone.

blackteaplease · 02/12/2017 06:05

Urgh. I felt really grim last night and went to bed as soon as dh got home.
Yesterday's meals were
B. yogurt and frozen fruit
L. Leftover chicken in tomato sauce with added cream
2 x coffees and not enough water as I couldn't face it and needed to sleep.

I'm planning fat head pizza today, does anyone know if you can freeze the bases?

DrDiva · 02/12/2017 07:30

Sorry to hear you have been unwell ave and blacktea - I really hope you are feeling better this morning!

FurryTurnip · 02/12/2017 08:10

I've had a rubbish couple of days eating. I haven't gone into full carby twat mode but feel I am teetering. Annoyed with myself as I am so close to my goal and wonder if mentally I have allowed myself some slippage.

Am going to go strict bootcamp for a few days to try and reduce the craving for sweet stuff and remind myself of the proper rules.

Mimosa1 · 02/12/2017 08:16

I'm teetering too guys :( I'm trying not to take the whole of Dec off!!!

GailLondon · 02/12/2017 08:51

Found a photo of me from August at my fattest, I'd normally delete it straight away because I look huge, but this time am actually pleased because I can do a before and after comparison! 3 months low carbing, would like to lose 1stone more

Week 8 - Low Carb Bootcamp - Only 3 weeks to go ...
FurryTurnip · 02/12/2017 08:58

Wow gail that's an amazing difference! Congratulations!

SayrraT · 02/12/2017 09:03

It's time to see progress pictures, well done Gail

Rshard · 02/12/2017 09:08

Great photos gail, you look fab!

You’ve recognised that you’re teetering furry and mimosa and that’s really good as you can take steps to control rather falling head first into carby twatness

blackteaplease · 02/12/2017 09:09

Gail, that's fantastic. I'm tempted to do some before and after photos but am waiting to the end of bc.

Scabbersley · 02/12/2017 09:16

Omg.

11.12 and 3/4 this morning

I weighed myself 6 times!

Now I am livid with myself as I went out last night and totally overdid the wine! Didn't eat anything as it was all carby. Probably why I feel so rough this morning Confused

Scabbersley · 02/12/2017 09:17

Amazing photos Gail!!

Veryflummoxed · 02/12/2017 09:24

Wow @GailLondon That's a huge difference. Well done.

I'm still reading the thread every day and still low carbing but did go back to pick at leftovers the last couple of nights. All low carb but I wasn't hungry. My eleven year old son started talking about getting fat and stress eating at the table last night and I was Shocktill he explained he had read about it in a David Walliams book.

I had a lengthy dream about Madonna last night. We were full on best mates. Taking selfies together and eating together. NB I have only the vaguest knowledge of who Madonna is. And have never taken a selfie in my life (apart from one before photo).

Kleptronic · 02/12/2017 09:28

GailLondon that's an epic set of photos, well done!

I saw 149.6 at 5am this morning. Fingers crossed it's the end of my stall. Just have a Christmas meal to negotiate tonight. The forties here I come!

TimeIhadaNameChange · 02/12/2017 09:44

I'm officially 2 stone down since May! Am so absolutely delighted with myself. Just one more to go. I can do this!

Went to the party last night. Wasn't really my sort of thing, but it was better than I expected. Was wearing my ridiculously short skirt likes of which nobody there had seen me in for years, so I got a few lovely comments. One guy asked where the other half of me was, another told me I looked gorgeous, and said he knew DP wouldn't tell me so he was. All in all it was a great night!

FurryTurnip · 02/12/2017 09:53

Well done Time that's amazing!

You are right Rshard , recognising the teetering has been helpful. I have re-read the rules, need to increase fat and water and eat in a more planned way instead of picking. Will be late home tonight so just made big pan of saag paneer to stop me nibbling rubbish.

BrassicaBabe · 02/12/2017 09:53

Love the photo Gail!

I’m being forced on a family (extended) trip to a fish and chip restaurant tonight Sad Even worse, I’m already going out for a xmas lunch. LC planned for lunch. But I really don’t want to go out for fish and chips. It’s looking like I’m going to have to sit there with nothing which is probably a bit churlish or order fish and pick the batter off. (Sorry, while it’s not a posh restaurant it doesn’t do kebab meat)

HarlotsWeb · 02/12/2017 10:02

gail, you look fantastic! And so happy and confident too. Well done.

HarlotsWeb · 02/12/2017 10:04

time, that's so brilliant as well. You absolutely can do this, you are right. Well over half way and on a roll:)
