Morning all.

Again, apologies for belated thread starting. Was at work at stupid o'clock this morning and then straight into a meeting.

Anyway Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and don't forget the Weight Tracker

I hope that things have been going well, and that this final week can see of another pesky pound or so.

Star for us all

I like the top, trash, it is a gorgeous colour and you do look slim Smile
I wear too much black, one of the things I am trying to do is get away from black. I am slightly in awe of people who can do colour.

I'll be here for a chat thread too. My food was slightly odd yesterday as I need to do a food shop, so odds and ends - breakfast was courgettes and spinach with some flaxseed (I resisted the temptation to add an egg because they don't agree with me, I realised); lunch was green salad, a tablespoon of coleslaw, cherry tomatoes and mayo; dinner was cold chicken, cucumber done with the spiraliser, black olives and more mayo. Spiralised cucumber with mayo is one of my favourite new things from this WOE.

I am still agonising about my hair - did I mention it has been falling out my head and breaking off?? I got a new supplement for it with biotin and loads of other nutrients (which has helped my overall energy levels, if not my sleep patterns) - it also has iron which has contributed to the return of the bungs (TMI, sorry). I have been reading that this happens to some people on a ketogenic diet, so as well as weight, I am going to be paying a bit more attention to nutrients. On the other hand, the reading I did also suggested that hair loss can be due to stress, and I've not had a calm life for quite some time. Dr is running blood tests too. (I think someone upthread mentioned hair as well?)

Romeyroo · 28/03/2015 05:23

Oh, and I am back down a lb, which is better than being up another one!

Amaxapax · 28/03/2015 06:51

Good morning. My dog woke me up enthusiastically at six, demanded a cuddle, and has now departed to, I assume, stare out the window. Cheers.

MrsS, I'm sorry to hear about your gran. I hope the prognosis is good and treatment is successful.

Everyone was right re TOTM weight gain, or at least I assume you were. It hasn't actually started yet. I ended up gaining two and a half pounds, and now I've lost four and a half, so I can't complain too much. I don't feel any thinner, though, probably because
I ate waaaaay to many almonds on Wednesday and felt quite sick, and I had some peanut butter yesterday. I'm dealing with some serious cravings: I would very much like to fall face first into some cake or chocolate. Trying to resist, though.

Off to Bravissimo tomorrow to do something about my boobs. They are sad, and I'm desperately hoping I will be able to find a bra to perk them up a bit.

sassandfaff · 28/03/2015 07:29

Clever you trash. It looks great on you. And you do look slimmer. You getting an application for next years sewing bee? Wink

I bought some material and a pattern last year and I've still not made it! Told my mum I refuse to make it in more than a size 14. Well I'm nearly there now, so I might make it this summer. It's a jump suit pattern. I luuurve jumpsuits, but have yet to wear one. I also have my eye on a gorgeous wrap over dress, just need to hunt down some material.

Sounds like I've done this before- but no. My expertise runs to pillow cases. Luckily my mum spent years in a sewing factory before a change in career. So she can do the most of it the fiddly bits. Grin

CharlieSierra · 28/03/2015 07:57

You look really slim in that Trash, and you're clever making alterations!

I've still not been able to post 'cast off' pics on my profile, despite lots of messaging with HQ, yesterday they said they can't replicate my problem and I'll just have to post one pic at a time - erm, there are about 45 of them Hmm

LexLoofah · 28/03/2015 13:25

The truth about fat bbc one Thursday 9pm

Not sure if it has been on before, will try to watch it, shame it will be overshadowed by 'the debates' on itv

trash that top looks really stylish, clever you

I have a wicked sore throat and just generally run down and tired, sipping hot lemon, ginger & turmeric. Could murder an orange right now though.

Went out for dinner last night, another success. Scallops to start then wahoo with soy & ginger reduction, bok choi and shiitake mushrooms - it did not even come with rice so did not need to change anything or push anything to one side. Not tempted by dessert but thinking of making something this evening to celebrate week 10, might try whipping coconut cream into a mousse type thing or maybe I will just stay on the sofa ....

Amaxapax · 28/03/2015 14:34

I've been trying on clothes for my holiday. We're off on Friday and I can't wait. I bought the shorts in the photo when I was 12 stone after doing WW. They aren't quite as generous now, but I couldn't even fit in them last summer. What's amazing to me is that, even nearly a stone and a half heavier than I was after WW, I am still in Zara shorts. To me, it's evidence of the fact that LCHF helps you to get lean, rather than losing muscle tone. I am not a person who will ever have particularly thin legs (those thighs are strong, though!), but I am so thankful to BIWI and everyone who gave great advice to help me lose over a stone and get back in my holiday clothes.

SayraT · 28/03/2015 14:58

trashy lovely top Smile

amaxapx well done Grin Enjoy your holiday.

I had a very not LC dinner last night as we were at dinner at an Italian friends house and he served carby goodness non-BC approved foods Grin. It was delicious though, I am trying to get back on track today and started with bacon and eggs and a coffee with cream. I had planned on riding but I have no car (horse is 12 miles away on a busy road and no buses so can't cycle or anything). Instead I moved all the furniture about and did some pole instead ready are you still going to classes?

Next week I am going to really crack on and get my thesis finished. I only have the general discussion to write so if I really get my head down then I am pretty sure I can get it done, or nearly done anyway.

BIWI · 28/03/2015 18:54

Brilliant amaxapax!

OP posts:
trashcanjunkie · 28/03/2015 22:11

Thanks guys Grin

It's actually the best thing I've ever managed. Most of my other stuff involves fannying about for days then either giving up or making my friend do it for me....

Great pic amax! Bloody jealous of your holiday Grin

Sayra that's excellent news on the thesis. I'm officially ignoring you online til it's done!!!

BIWI I can't believe it's nearly over again. Well done and thanks so much xxx

I will be on the ongoing thread too.

SayraT · 28/03/2015 22:13

Noooo! trashy don't ignore me!

trashcanjunkie · 28/03/2015 22:23

Sorry, did anybody hear squeaking noises..... Grin

trashcanjunkie · 28/03/2015 22:24

Kidding kidding! Sorry sayra, I couldn't really ignore you Grin

SayraT · 28/03/2015 22:27

Haha Grin

Gcalgske · 28/03/2015 22:27

Good luck Sayra! Love the top trash!

Today's food:
B: ham hock with my new favourite condiment (szechwan pepper and star anise salt)

L: 2 egg omelet with mozzarella, bacon and no sugar salsa
D: burger no bun with cheese, bacon and coleslaw. Yum.

Mrsstevejones · 29/03/2015 08:13

Great top trash and amazing legs amaxapax.

So just weighed and according to my scales i am 13.10, so in the last couple of weeks whilst i have been messing about i have put on a couple of pounds.
It just goes to show you do need to eat proper meals, lots of water and enough food for it to work! I havent had an appetite and lived on cheese and coffee with cream - shant be doing that again. I will be carrying on after this bootcamp and i think since the start of the year i have lost 1st.

I now feel just fat rather than obese and i am in most of my size 16s. My next goal is my size 14s by summer, so thats what i will be focusing on. Starting back at the gym next week now we have all shifted the sickness.

Thanks BIWI and everyone else for all your support and advice. Before i found bootcamp i thought i would be fat forever, now i know it doesnt need to be that way. See you on the continuation thread, maybe under a new name.

sassandfaff · 29/03/2015 11:57

Morning- just.

I am also 13.10 mrss I was 13.8 yesterday and 13.7 the day before that. Got my period this morning though, so I'm surmising it's that.

I too would like to thank biwi and everyone on the thread for their support. I hope everyone will continue in the new thread.

Can I ask if our spreadsheet will still exist for our weigh ins?

BIWI · 29/03/2015 12:02

I'll start the last week-specific thread tomorrow as usual, and then from the following Monday we'll just have an ongoing chat thread.

If you ask Sayra very nicely, she might keep the spreadsheet going ... Grin

OP posts:
NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 29/03/2015 13:02

Yes, thanks to BIWI and all that help run bootcamp Star, please keep the spreadsheet going Sayra Flowers (Just as a note, Monday 30th March isn't on the spreadsheet, it goes straight to April 6th). Sass I also felt the same way about being fat forever. Im down 35lbs as of this morning from when I joined Bootcamp midway last November. Still a way to go but I know I'll get there eventually.

SayraT · 29/03/2015 13:26

Oh sorry about that! Thanks for pointing it out, I'll go and add the 30th in now natural

The spreadsheet was already set up to do until the end of April so I've just added on another week for the 4th May then we will have a new spreadsheet for the May BC starting the 11th May.

Fingers crossed that by then I will have finished my thesis and started a new job Grin

trashcanjunkie · 29/03/2015 16:37

For some reason I'm struggling like hell with my water intake. Yesterday I only just managed one of the two 1.5 lite bottles I normally drink. I had several large cups of tea (using a splash of extra creamy milk, and merely threatening the cup with an earl grey bag, so not particularly carby or caffeiny)

Today the same problem. It's like my throat has shrunk. I'm looking at my first bottle of water and barely a fifth of it has gone. I've been up since nine. Although I am freezing cold. We went to watch the dts play rugby - they're with their dad, but it was county cup so we all trooped along (even Pablo, our exchange student) it utterly pissed down in bursts so we got soaked and frozen (well I didn't get soaked but I've got cold in my bones,) I think that's why my body isn't over keen on more cold water. Gonna get in a hot hot bath in a minute and hopefully that will sort me out.

Have bought a new bra (a shock absorber high impact sports one) felt stupidly pleased cos I had bought 40 E a couple of weeks ago. Even though this is a crop top and totally different shape etc, I was delighted that I needed it in 38 D. Partly delighted cos it was only a tenner in the sale Grin but I even got the wifey in to check the size, and we both agreed it fit perfectly.

Now just waiting for my new trainers to arrive, plus have an appointment with my ankle surgeon tomorrow, and even though ankle still very swollen, I want to know if I can start gentle running on it. Failing that I'll stick to power walking.

Romeyroo · 29/03/2015 20:27

I hope the bath helps trash, sounds like you are chilled to the bone so no wonder you can't drink water. Hot water or herbal tea?

Day out with DC today; lots of fun and did really well on taking food with us but forgot that Starbucks soy lattes don't use unsweetened soy milk and I just checked online and I had a whopping 8g of sugar that way. DS was particularly hyper all weekend and I needed some caffeine but should have had it black - it tasted super sweet as well.

So I may not even weigh in tomorrow; and wait till mid-week. I added raspberries into my coconut milk breakfast as well, so all in all, I probably had too much carby sweetness. Feels like it anyway.

See everyone on the chat thread. Huge thanks to BIWI and to all of you for the motivation and support Flowers.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 29/03/2015 20:42

I'm at my sisters now, so the next few days will be veggie and no weighing (eek! I'm a daily weigher!)

Chilli and bolognese are tea for the next two days, so they are okay :)

Gcalgske · 30/03/2015 00:05

Oh romey, hate when that happens. You think you are on plan and some twit of a coffee shop ruins it! I had a friend give me the new coke life crap (stevia and SUGAR) as she 'knew I was on a diet and it was healthier' instead of a diet coke a while back I couldn't taste the difference because of the large vodka ice and lemon.
Good luck beyond. If it gets too much canabalism is an option Grin
I've eaten altogether too much pig recently. Think I will crack the steak out of the freezer tomorrow. Night.

Romeyroo · 30/03/2015 06:34

I know, I should have known that Starbucks would be sugartastic but it was the only venue where we were with drinkable (I thought) coffee. The coffee shop I normally go to is not a chain and they use unsweetened; I used to find it too bitter and add sugar before I saw the light.

In some ways, it is funny, plus quite scary, what we are marketed as healthy. Sugar and Stevia is quite unnecessary.

Not weighed this morning anyway, partly as I completely forgot. See everyone on the next thread
