Morning all.

Again, apologies for belated thread starting. Was at work at stupid o'clock this morning and then straight into a meeting.

Anyway Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and don't forget the Weight Tracker

I hope that things have been going well, and that this final week can see of another pesky pound or so.

Star for us all

Lovely news Stunt. Glad you are both safe and well. Hope you will soon be home. I've only had an overnight stay in hospital but their idea of a gluten free meal was a sandwich in wholemeal bread. When I told them I couldn't eat cereal for breakfast I was offered toast! Seems you have to order 5 days in advance to get a gluten free meal so you just have to starve if you are admitted as an emergency!

BerylStreep · 25/03/2015 14:59

Sass have a listen to this episode of radio 4's case notes IIRC it discusses exercises you can do to help the dizziness.

StuntNun · 25/03/2015 16:56

I have a stash of Peperamis, olives, almonds, macademias and dark chocolates in here so I'm keeping myself topped up. They managed to get me a salad for lunch in the end so I had steamed chicken breast, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, sweetcorn and a slice of pineapple for lunch. Not Bootcamp but not too bad in the grand scheme of things and I don't see the need to be too strict right now while I'm recovering from surgery, I just know if I start eating bread or anything sugary now then it will make it ten times harder to eat well when I get home. It's amazing how sweet foods like carrot, banana and pineapple are when you don't eat sugar.

Gcalgske · 25/03/2015 17:36

Thanks imustbepatient Flowers
You all make me feel better. I know he has my back and that he knows I've made lots of allowances for his mum. He has spoken to her. I fully admit she must make allowances for me (I know I can be a pain) but God I've tried. I'm very close to saying stuff it and letting her get on with it but I know if we don't sort it out it's going to be a nightmare with my DD as I won't be comfortable with her in my house. Anyhow KOKO. Breakfast today was a coffee with cream, water. Lunch was two eggs with mayo on cucumber slices. Dinner will be last nights cottage pie. As an aside my mega delivery of meat from muscle foods arrived and I have lots of steak in the fridge.

MrsKoala · 25/03/2015 17:39

I hope you aren't too sore Stunt. Flowers

Gcalgske · 25/03/2015 17:42

Stunt well done you for keeping off the bad stuff. After I had DD I was in and out of the matty for two months. NHS Grampian maternity is a strict sandwich and soup lunch. Packet cheapo sandwiches (on the kind of brown bread you could use as a pan scourer) and soup which was always the same monotonous brown mush regardless or whether it was lentil, pea, broth on the menu. Salty and disgusting. Despite having sepsis I gained a stone! Hubby was too busy with a newborn at home to bring packed lunches so I'd sneak out to the shop and treat myself to a fresh vegetable!

LexLoofah · 25/03/2015 18:06

stunt congrats and welcome wee little baby stunt. more Flowers although wish I could send you some lc food instead. choc and nuts sounds like a perfectly acceptable postpartum breakfast to me

CharlieSierra · 25/03/2015 19:15

Congratulations stunt well done, hope you are both well.

Gcal Flowers, I feel for you, it would take all day to tell you why, but suffice to say I had a second baby because of ExMIL taking over the first, sounds stupid now, really stupid, it's a long time ago now but your post brought it flooding back this morning Sad. She didn't manage to come between us though, and neither will yours, and it sounds like you have supportive DH too.

Romeyroo · 25/03/2015 20:14

Charlie, that doesn't sound stupid at all Sad. I am really glad that you have got a supportive DH and you got through it, though. I hope you will too Gcalske.

Stunt, sounds like you are making the best of a bad job with the food. I hope that DS4 is doing well and that you are recovering okay.

sass sorry to hear you are not well, that sounds really awful.

Not much doing here, I am KOKO, probably too much dark chocolate as sleep still off whack so been up since half four and in meetings all day. Nonetheless, I am fitting in a good half hour walk now, so hoping to stick with and increase the exercise.

Gcalgske · 25/03/2015 20:27

Thank you romey & charlie
Sad to hear you've had nonsense too charlie. Ahh MIL Angry

StuntNun · 25/03/2015 21:12

Hospital dinner was sausages, boiled potatoes and green beans then an apple for dessert. Jobs a good 'un.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 25/03/2015 22:25

Congratulations stunt and welcome to the world stuntbaby Flowers

I have awful indigestion tonight :(

CharlieSierra · 25/03/2015 22:46

Gcal you made me reminisce about how horrific it was, and I was remembering the time I had lovingly nurtured a pink clematis to grow through a ceanothus and after a few years it came to fruition and they were both in bloom, ExMIL did her cats bum mouth and said I would ruin the ceanothus, the clematis would strangle it. I said no it would be fine, the ceanothus was mature blah blah, and the next weekend when ExFIL came round to be helpful Hmm around the house and garden as usual, I came home from shopping and found he'd ripped out the clematis because she had told him to. ExH, stupid tosser just stood by and let him.

And then there was the time when I came out of hospital with my new DD, ExMIL snatched the baby whilst I made the tea, and then took me upstairs into my own bedroom to show me how she had 'sorted out' my wardrobe and all my drawers! When I wasn't over the moon she screamed and shouted at me for being ungrateful and 'difficult' Shock. I'm a MIL myself now, I tread very carefully Grin. Sorry, bit long and ranty, but strangely cathartic.

Gcalgske · 25/03/2015 23:00

Let it out charlie! I feel bad though, you had it soooo much worse. I'm just having a moan. Hubby is trying to be diplomatic but ugh!

Romeyroo · 26/03/2015 07:18

Charlie, glad to hear they are all Ex family now, that is awful. you sound well rid of them all.
I am sure you are a lovely MIL Smile

Pleaseandthankyou · 26/03/2015 07:40

congratulations Stuntnun. Look after yourself. Will you have any help when you get home.

StuntNun · 26/03/2015 07:51

Please my mum jumped on the first plane over and managed to get to the hospital before my DH did!

Mrsstevejones · 26/03/2015 08:52

A BC baby - how lovely, welcome little bubba. Well done Stunt.

Sorry for all those with awful Mils, makes mine look almost lovely, bless them.

Still struggling to get my head in the game but i havent really cheated but not really following the rules properly. Life goes back to normal next week and the countdown for my holiday has started and i desperately want to lose a dress size. (40 days)

I should have shaken off this cold and will start back at the gym to tone up. I am starting to notice my shape is coming back -my waist started making an appearance a few weeks ago but now my legs are becoming more shapely and i feel just fat rather than obese if that makes sense. I just need my belly to shrink now as its disproportionally large and jelly like.

There is a lot going on in RL and whilst i havent stuffed myself with rubbish ( as i would have usually done) i am struggling but it is making me face things rather than eat them away!! More unexpected low carb benefits!

Good luck everyone koko

sassandfaff · 26/03/2015 11:36

Morning.

Thanks everyone. No episode last night thank god, although I now have a red blotchy patchy rash on my face! Can that be related?

Thanks beryl I will look at that now.
