Morning. Apologies for late start to this week's thread, but I'm off work poorly today, and had a bit of a lie-in.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And don't forget the Weight Tracker

Good luck for this week

Yes, Beyond particularly the coated ones and the ones which are made more pleasant as have to be chewed but still leave a chalky aftertaste

Gcalgske · 05/03/2015 09:24

Yeah beyond I hate getting sugar coated pills :(
lex that looks yum. licks screen

ChesterDrawers · 05/03/2015 13:09

Where is everyone? I just popped on for a catch up over lunch and it's all quiet. Hope everyone's ok.

I've just been trying jeans on, three pairs of size 12s all fitted, couldn't even get the 14s on after Christmas. It was in Next so I know they are generous, but I'm still pretty pleased. Didn't buy any though,it was purely for scientific purposes because I just assume all my size 12s at home have been stretched my my huge arse.

BIWI · 05/03/2015 13:17

I'm here! (Having lunch at my desk)

I'm here.

I bought a new size 16 jeans yesterday (charity shop) as my old ones are in serious danger of being around my ankles.

I figured they were a generous 16 and I needed tighter 16's. These are debenhams skinny, and they felt tighter, but already they are falling down my hips.

Sooooo looking forward to that!

If only I could stop bloody eating. Hmm

I'm just going with it, albeit still lc stuff.

sassandfaff · 05/03/2015 13:24

Ha. That was meant to say.

Sooooo looking forward to that.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 05/03/2015 13:38

I have a child off school, a craft room to sort out think explosion in a fabric/wool warehouse and in the process of making dough based things for the allergy child's lunch box so he actually eats. Otoh I spent nearly an hour in the chocolate ailse reading ingredients yesterday and only came out with stuff for ds. Wasn't tempted at all Shock

LexLoofah · 05/03/2015 13:41

bitchy well done on not being tempted

beyond I am actually finding that even water tastes sweet now but in a nice way - how did your tattoo go?

Grin at the avocado cartoon

MrsKoala · 05/03/2015 14:05

Hi all. Such a relief to be home. DS1s eye is still very pussy and sore. He's being a right misery too, poor sausage.

Been out shopping and stocked up on essentials. Mum and Dad are away till end march and next visit to PILs is Easter (unless anything bad happens) so the next 4 weeks will be serious BC. I am going to avoid dairy in the week i think and focus on more fat and more water.

Today i have had

B - bacon lardons fried with sprouts and topped with a fried egg.
L - (will be) Sausages and leeks in butter
D - Oxtail stew with celeriac mash

Speaking of which, is it me or have the 'cheaper' cuts shot up in price? The oxtail i bought was £8.95 a kilo and DH and i eat a kilo in one meal Shock . Beef cheeks are the same price as is the stewing boney lamb bits. I can't afford £9 per dinner on meat Shock Shock Will have to start looking for a cheaper butcher.

lurkingmurking · 05/03/2015 14:38

I'm still here! KOKO!

Yey for the size 12s Chester!!

Now, let's talk nuts! How many is a suitable portion on this WOE?

I'm out with the school mums tonight which will involve mucho vino. I must line my stomach with something before I leave work but not really sure what!

imustbepatient · 05/03/2015 14:41

Glad you are home MrsKSmile

I've been feeling pretty rubbish the last few days and not really feeling like cooking. I've managed some bacon and eggs for breakfast today and had some mashed swede last night as I couldn't be bothered with anything else plus wanted comfort food!

Hopefully I will manage to cook the chicken thighs in the fridge for dinner tonight as I will probably need to eat something proper by the. being sick really sucks! Not exactly news I know!

Mrsstevejones · 05/03/2015 15:11

Mrsk - i think my oxtail is £6.95 a kilo and often on offer at £6, so maybe a new butcher is needed. Glad you are home and can get back into your usual routine, hopefully kids will be more settled.

Well done everyone on skinnier jeans. I am pleased to announce my size 16 slim fit now look baggy and are sliding down my hips - must dig out a belt as arse crack is not a good look on anyone (lowers the tone of the thread).

IMUSTBE - hope you get better soon.

I think the PT at the gym hates me, she did my induction and i nearly threw up on the spin bike, i warned her i wasnt very fit but i dont think she believed me! She devised me a lovely little circuit but my poor arms - i did tell her i wanted to work on that area and she took me at my word! So if i dont wake up with michelle obama arms i shall be very disappointed!! It did shift my hangover so thats a bonus.

SASS - I also have a faint whiff of size 14s (well the generous ones) in the distance, its exciting isnt it? I would be chuffed to be a 14 in the summer and it would only be one size off of my goal of being a 12.

I have a huge hunk of pork in the oven and i cant wait for it to be done as the smell is driving me mad. Pork crackling beckons, yum.

Mrsstevejones · 05/03/2015 15:36

In the interest of experimentation i just ran upstairs to try on my size 14s - last worn 4 yrs ago!! and they fit, cant breathe or sit down in them as they are too tight and give me a huge muffin top but i got them above my knees, so happy.

Also learnt that bootcut jeans make me look really fat and dumpy, so they are heading for the charity shop. Skinny jeans make me look like i have parsnip legs (still live in them however), aside from wearing skirts (weddings only) does anyone have any suggestions?? Cant wear black trousers either as it feels like work clothes - unfortunately i didnt realise that until after i bought them at great expense.

Off to drink more water and do a happy dance! KOKO

ChesterDrawers · 05/03/2015 15:48

Take a photo, take a photo, take a photo! Then try them again in a month and..behold, the muffin top shrinkage Grin

Aside from that, have you tried straight leg ones? I have similar problems to you but have a pretty flattering pair. Next also do a 'relaxed' skinny which are a bit less ferocious.

sassandfaff · 05/03/2015 15:57

I just took a pic of my twins walking home from school, as a, they look cute holding hands and b, even though I know it's nonsense, I'm very incensed that my local council deem them bordering on obese!

Dd is in a 3 yr old skirt and Ds is in 3/4 yr old trousers!

I'm quite cross at myself that it bothers me so much!!

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 05/03/2015 16:02

Great thank lex :) Got another two hours done, will take about another three to finish

sassandfaff · 05/03/2015 16:02

Yeah mrss

Size 14, while not being ideal (for me) or considered slim by society, is certainly in what I would deem a normal range. (Ie. Not thin and not fat)

I appreciate people feel differently, that's just my perspective. Grin

I'm hoping I'm wearing size 14 by the end of week 10.

LexLoofah · 05/03/2015 16:20

sass cute ? yes obese ? whaaat? cannot see it myself, what are their criteria and who on earth reported them or however they found out?

worried about my 4 yo DD now as she wears 5 and 6 clothes but partly because she is tall. checked her BMI online and seems she is OK but I guess your council are using different scale - i would be pissed too

beyond ouch! you are braver than me

Mrsstevejones · 05/03/2015 16:43

After being a size 22 size 14 seems slim to me but i know its not considered slim by most people. I was a size 14 for years - it was my drinking beer and eating pizza weight!

I would LOVE to be a size 12 but it just feels unattainable and i dont think i have ever been a size 10 (maybe the summer my ex cheatedonme and ilost alot of weight thru the heartbreak diet) in my life - even when in my late teens not that i ever though i was fat but i am curvy and hourglass shaped. I never had that long lean look. Sass from what i remember we started at a similar weight so if you think you can get to a size 14 by the end of bootcamp then there is hope for me yet!

Your kids are def not fat! BMI charts are pretty much tosh anyway.

Thanks chester will try straight leg. Might take some photos when hubby is at the gym, however wont be sharing them on here! I am not as brave as you or slim! After 2 c secs my belly is not my best feature, its already a bit saggy and wrinkly.

Gcalgske · 05/03/2015 16:49

Sass they look v cute and totally normal to me.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 05/03/2015 17:03

My mind is hungry today, it's trying to make me cheat. Drinking water and had some coconut oil. Another one within grasp of 14's. The sainsburys skirt I got fits comfortably but they are very generous. Book day dressing up at school today with photos, I was brave enough to face the cameras (normally run away) and they are ok ish, I look fatter than I feel that's how I got to a size 18 in the first place
I think I have body dismorphia, but the other way around.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 05/03/2015 17:22

How about a separate photos thread? I fancy sticking on some too-small jeans and seeing the difference over time too :)

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 05/03/2015 17:29

Oh, and this Smile

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 05/03/2015 17:43

Haha, yeah dh keeps saying "you can tell youre losing weight - your boobs are shrinking". Cheers for that, love Grin

imustbepatient · 05/03/2015 18:23

Thanks MrsS for the get well wishes and well done on the jeans! I hope to shoehorn myself into a pair of size 14s at some point by summer Grin
Straight leg work quite well for me too, plus when very slim, weirdly I can also pull off the flares look - so long as they are really slim fitting on the thighs and worn with heels!

Whoever said they had reverse body dysmorphia - I think I have that too! I feel really over weight alright, but it is only when I see photos I realise quite how bad I have got. And yet when I was slim I never felt it! Maybe in my head I am always a size 14-16 regardless of reality !

I will have to log into my pc to see all these photos as I can't see them on my phone!

Dinner tonight is going to be chicken thighs roasted, with green bean 'chips' served with guacamole, Mayo and tomato sauce (all LC + hm). Just have to get the children into bed!

Hooray proper food again at last. So nice to have my appetite back.
