Morning. Apologies for late start to this week's thread, but I'm off work poorly today, and had a bit of a lie-in.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And don't forget the Weight Tracker

Good luck for this week

Morning, catching up from yesterday

L yesterday was courgette and mushroom omelette, had first bit of cheese in 6 days, half what I would normally use and it was sooo good. Tsp almond butter. Delighted with myself to only have one tea with milk as weekends usually mean more than that.

D - DH and I went out, picked a seafood restaurant as figured was a good option and it was, lots to choose from. I had smoked salmon, fennel and grapefruit to start then seafood mixed grill of mahi, wahoo, shrimp and scallops with crab and avocado salsa and spinach In a butter sauce. It Came with a risotto rice cake but I pushed it to the side, was not tempted at all and in fact did not finish all the fish. We looked at the dessert menu, could have had cheese but we were stuffed. I think in future I will smuggle in a square of choc And order a tea if I feel the need to have something. I don't drink so thankfully that is not one of my temptations, sympathies for those who are struggling with it.

Just had brekkie of courgettes in butter and scr eggs in butter, there was butter left on my plate after eating so I licked it off! I now realize why courgettes taste so sweet, it is the butter as tasted so sweet, loving my anchor or Kerry gold mmmm

notso Grin at Monica

trash your pic looks great, you are well on you way. hope this does not out me as it is a small place, we are in the Cayman Islands

sassandfaff · 08/03/2015 14:17

You lucky lucky thing. Smile

Just checking in, as am in the process of cleaning house before DC get home; then we are going swimmingSmile; will catch up with thread properly later.

B was coconut milk, flaxseed and a strawberry chopped up - very yummy
L just finished soup I made with broccoli, spinach and a bit of soya cream. Chucked a bit of flaxseed into the mix as keen to avoid the bungs again!
D will be leftover salad with cucumber and Mayo, a bit of chicken if I am hungry (which I am not at all at the moment)

Decided against buying a 70% bar of Lindt in the supermarket to see if DS could have it without going hyper, because ahem, I am not sure it really would have ALL been for DS

Romeyroo · 08/03/2015 14:20

Cayman Islands sound lovely

Just realised I never posted this week - possibly 'cos I was trying to stick my head in the sand about the fact that I had put on a pound Blush very possibly related to making a batch of tablet the week before and partaking of more than just the scrapings Blush

Well done to everyone who is still losing and I will get back on the wagon this week! Grin

Fatstacks · 08/03/2015 15:58

Mmm tablet.
Mmm Cayman islands.
Envy

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 08/03/2015 16:00

See if you had said somewhere like scandinavia or canada I would be Envy but I don't think I could hack house lizards, heat and humidity, and a rainy season. Lex but I really can understand why you would get home sick.

Notso · 08/03/2015 16:24

Same Bitchy though it is beautiful there Lex, I'll stick to chilly Wales.

Sass you look great. Love your mirror too.

Thumb I can sympathise with the chocolate. I cannot buy it much. I wish I could find small bars of the 90% stuff as once I open a big bar it's gone unless I get DH to hide it.

Made it through the cinema bad carb free, surprisingly I didn't even think about what the DC were eating. Had a large coffee with a bit of cream.
Lunch was delicious, thinly sliced rare beef, covered with mayo, blue cheese and rocket rolled into a wrap. Loved it.
Dinner is steak and peppercorn sauce with asparagus and broccoli, was supposed to have it yesterday but wasn't hungry.

ChesterDrawers · 08/03/2015 18:02

Shockingly shit weekend in lots of ways. Not eaten enough, not enough water and yesterday's tea was most definitely not LC. Better today but still only one proper meal. Dreading WI tomorrow too.

MrsS I have just made your ricotta bites with leek and chorizo - bloody lovely they are. Also bought some new walking trousers today in size 12 so pleased with that.

Oh, and, anyone remember that conversation about reduced pmt a few weeks ago? Well it appears LC just affects your memory instead - I have been murderous this weekend!

ChesterDrawers · 08/03/2015 18:03

Ps not read the thread for two days so hope everyone is ok

Mrsstevejones · 08/03/2015 18:56

They are lush arent they Chester - must buy ingredients tom as i havent made them for ages.

I sympathise with those suffering lack of control - i can not have choc in the house, or peanut butter it would seem. I simply can not be trusted and have to eat it all. However on this woe i am soo soo much better generally, but if i am allowed something i tend to go over the top.

DS had a great first birthday even if he did sleep thru most of the party. I swerved all the carby crap and didnt even try the lovely looking cake.

This weekend food choices not amazing, too many coffees with cream, not enough proper food and not enough water so not hopeful for the weigh in monday.

Will be having a super busy week as the plan is to finish off all the little jobs and get our house put on the market as we have found the most perfect family home. So excited but will be glad when its over.

nowitsenough · 08/03/2015 19:33

Same here Sad. I can't have any chocolate in the house and peanut butter won't last long either.

Back on track today, bacon and eggs for breakfast, egg mayo for lunch and sausages (quality low carb ones) with mashed swede and sprouts and cucumber and mayo. Walked for half an hour.

BerylStreep · 08/03/2015 20:11

Started doing a lengthy post yesterday about jeans, tried to add a shocking photo of me in jeans, and thankfully technical skills evaded me.

Trash we are a similar shape, except I have a substantially bigger tummy. Your photo is what I am aiming for.

Camen islands sound great, although I had a friend who worked there for a while, and she loved it, loved the scuba diving etc, but eventually got a bit too claustrophobic for her.

Have had too much wine this week, so am expecting, at best, to stay the same.

Gcalgske · 08/03/2015 20:19

notso aldi do 5x 25g bars of their 85% choc which is nice.

mootime · 08/03/2015 20:23

Hi all. Not managed to catch up on the thread. It's been a manic few days. DD not sleeping as her lip has stopped her sucking her thumbHmm
So I've been knackered and had friends here all weekend and so eating to comfort. Still LC but way too much. And now I feel really bloated and expect a gain again.
Feeling a bit gutted with myself. I've also got a monstrous week ahead with work. Im going to try and go dairy free but I'm not sure I'll manage. Wish me luck

BIWI · 08/03/2015 20:50

I went clothes shopping today. So encountered the mirrors of doom. Hmm

Romeyroo · 08/03/2015 20:56

MrsS, glad your DS's birthday went well

Fatstacks · 08/03/2015 21:01

I'm having my colours done next week and will have to go shopping Shock
Like grown up shopping, not just buying a new thundercats tshirt in xl.

I always find the changing room too small and end up doing a sweaty arse print on evil mirror.

Mrsstevejones · 08/03/2015 21:36

Evening all, i have really noticed how lack of water affects me. I was wearing my wedding ring on other finger as it was so loose it kept flying off, but this weekend had to nearly dislocate finger to get it off and out it back on proper finger. I have gotten more swollen but i cant attribute it to food only lack of water, weird.

Maybe i am retaining water and am due a mahoosive whoosh any day now, crosses fingers and toes!

Hate clothes shopping worst part is mirrors and awful lighting - you would think they would make it as flattering as poss to make you want to buy their clothes.

BerylStreep · 08/03/2015 22:09

Mirrors are why I order loads online from HoF, try on at home, and keep only about 30% (which I think is a result).

Fatstacks I got my colours done last year. I was a warm spring (for the purposes of this post I dug the wallet out of my handbag). I found it quite useful, even though I have probably only managed to put 50% of the advice into action. I am slowly trying to wean myself off black and navy.

Technical skills are still preventing jeans photos. I have a feeling iPhoto is doing it to preserve my dignity.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 08/03/2015 22:21

Grin @ iphone being kind and lovely Beryl

I have had an allergic reaction tonight that is the third in 1 week. Culprits found and plans in progress. And BIWI will be please to note that it will mean I have to be more rigid in my sticking to bootcamp rules. I have also found a taste tester (also referred to a victim) for testing the recipe adaptations for ds Feeling a bit wobbly about it but that is only a superficial psychological rebellion response as it is for the best in the long run. But as of monday it is almond milk in my coffee or it gets drunk black wibbles as hates black coffee , no cheese or dairy and absolutely no traces of wheat/gluten etc. I am really hoping that I like the almond milk in my coffee. Milky coffee is a weakness. Blush

On a plus note I have another works all day meeting catered kinda thing. They have really upped their game and have tried to ensure all dietary needs are catered for, and where it is not possible it has been agreed acceptable for individuals to bring their own. This is an epic win in my eyes. No feelings of guilt, no sneaking, no cheating and no going hungry.

In the meantime I am on double allergy meds for the next few days which is not likely to help the weight loss situation, but better than feeling like my throat is closing up and the itchy funky rash. But it does explain a bit about what has been going on the last few weeks. Ah well lessons learnt the hard way. At least thanks to this thread the reaction does not make me dread the consequences and the response is ooo what lovely recipes can i find to replace that... Yet again saved by the thread Flowers

BerylStreep · 08/03/2015 22:33

Bitchy what are you allergic to?

trashcanjunkie · 08/03/2015 22:35

Evening ladies, thanks for the love. A mere five stone to go as I'm sixteen stone and want to be eleven. I look good at eleven. I want to be able to float about like a nob head, looking all leggy and whatnot

lex I think I need to come and visit you Grin
