Morning all my lovely campers!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and don't forget the Weight Tracker if you prefer to keep things private.

Hopefully the dreaded weeks 3 and 4 are well behind us, and we can now get on with the process of shedding more fat Grin

Here's to another good week, and I hope that the scales were kind to you this morning

I broke my cauliflower rice virginity tonight! I fried it in coconut oil with garlic, ginger and chilli and it was absolutely delish stirred into salmon and veg.

imustbepatient · 16/02/2015 21:50

That's how I have it too lurking and it is so tasty!

MrsKoala · 16/02/2015 21:54

i had some steamed with beef stroganoff tonight, but tomo i am going to try it like that with tandoori chicken and salad. sounds yum. :)

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 16/02/2015 22:02

Biwi is not even kidding, she is proper scary when she gets the big stick out

Migraine is better than it was thanks to strong migraine meds and a dark room. Based on the meds side effects I suspect it will have serious implications on body chemistry so may well stall any weight loss. So will make a note to not bother weighing or to ignore the result. I am in danger of needing to go bra shopping. I fecking hate bra shopping but happy for shrinkage. So Flowers for that BIWI although a couple more cup sizes of shrinkage would be appreciated

Also I promised this morning i would explain the random flowers and thanks I dumped onto the thread this morning. Some lovely bootcampers have taken the trouble to be pretty darn epic and help me solve some completely unrelated to bootcamp issues. Which just shoves how utterly fabulous you are. Flowers Hugely appreciated.

readyforno2 · 16/02/2015 22:22

Hi everyone.
Haven't weighed in yet. Totally forgot this morning.
Just back from my pole class. Going to be sore tomorrow I think. Have sore muscles where I forgot muscles were even there! Anyway well done to those who have lost and KOKO to those who haven't. I'm pretty sure this won't be a great weigh day for me after that horrible fluey thing last week!

thenightsky · 16/02/2015 22:23

Did someone say garlic was off the menu??? I whizzed through the thread and read it (i think) but now I cannot find it again.

trashcanjunkie · 16/02/2015 22:29

I said I have to be very careful with garlic. It's something like 16g carbs per 100 but cos its tiny I forget and bung in a full bulb when I'm doing roast veg, or several cloves when frying something. I then would scoff the bloody things in leftovers and it soon mounted up, so I have become sparing as fuck.

BIWI · 16/02/2015 22:40

Each clove of garlic, assuming it's a medium-ish sized one counts as 1g carbs. (I weighed some recently for a recipe I was writing!). So if you were to use 4 cloves for a recipe for 4 people it's only going to be 1g carbs.

trashcanjunkie · 16/02/2015 22:42

Ooh, that's good to know. Why the fuck was I thinking 16....

BIWI · 16/02/2015 22:46

That's the weight that's on the veg counter, that's why! But garlic isn't very dense, so you get a lot of garlic for 100g

Supermum0203 · 16/02/2015 23:04

I know BIWI, that those 300gr could be 'waste' so if they really are that means another week with no loss at.Sad

BIWI · 16/02/2015 23:05

Have you measured yourself at all?

OP posts:
Supermum0203 · 16/02/2015 23:11

No I haven't, but trousers are still the same...tight ..!!

trashcanjunkie · 16/02/2015 23:12

Aha, so I'm nearly a genius for memorising the carb counter Grin

SayraT · 16/02/2015 23:18

Show off Grin

SayraT · 16/02/2015 23:19

So ready how was it? I was at a different studio tonight and I am not sure if I have any skin left on my inner thighs Grin

I hope you enjoyed it.

readyforno2 · 16/02/2015 23:29

It was good. I really enjoyed it!
Not entirely sure about the teaching but it was a different teacher than usual tonight so definitely will go back to try again. It's funny, it was at least 5 years ago that I was last on a pole and can still do some of the moves, kinda like riding a bike eh? Wink
Unfortunately there was some broken glass on the floor, it was in The Granary in Leith in their function room so they are going to speak to the management to ensure that doesn't happen again.

SayraT · 16/02/2015 23:33

Hmm, well if you don't get on there then there are other pole schools in the area. I was put off because she told me that they didn't have a limit on class sizes but it was usually 2 per pole. I didn't want to take the chance of having more than 2.

I was the same, I had about 5 years between stopping and starting again, I've been back less than a year and I've already progressed so much. I saw myself jumping up and down in the mirror today (during warm up) and thought "wow, you look thinner" Grin Pole is the best exercise that I have ever done.

SayraT · 16/02/2015 23:35

Oh forgot to post food.

B: Green smoothie (avocado, spinach, coconut cream, double cream, almond milk, spirulina, handful of blueberries)
L: Smoked salmon, cucumber, cherry tomatoes
D: Egg mayonnaise
S: Some almonds and a mini pepperami

trashcanjunkie · 16/02/2015 23:44

What was the smoothie like? I've got two bastard tubs of spiralina sitting in the cupboard that I can't use cos it's impossible to mix in water.

Ps you can be in my genius club.

readyforno2 · 16/02/2015 23:45

I'll give it another couple of weeks and then decide. It is really great exercise and I really, really enjoyed it.
I'll look into Madame peaches, my problem is, with dh being away so much I'm limited to nights I can get a babysitter.

Food for me today..
Brunch - scrambled eggs
D - mashed cauliflower with cheese, Brussel sprouts fried with cream and 1 lc sausage.
S - ff yog

Five pints of water, two coffee with cream

SayraT · 16/02/2015 23:51

Trash, it's ok. Not delicious but drinkable, I've had three now (in three days) so can't be that awful!

cymrukernow · 16/02/2015 23:54

Had a shit day food wise - all day at DH grandma's funeral and family get together , food provided was sausage rolls, pasties and sandwiches, followed by more pasties for tea. I did my best. No time to weigh but I'll do it tomorrow, hoping for STS.

Thumbwitch · 17/02/2015 04:58

Bit behind on catch up, thanks to another fall-asleep-around-9pm-with-the-toddler

Up 1lb this week; I was going to fib and say I'd STS but I'd only be lying to myself and that's pointless. Blush

That's the result of my spectacular chocolate blow out on Saturday, and my complete failure to drink enough water.
Drank loads yesterday though!
Yesterday's B - cheese
L - sliced turkey, cheese, courgette and mushroom omelette (2 eggs)
D - lamb sausage with mangetout and carrot batons (DH was in a hurry, and cba to do anything else Hmm), half glass of red wine.
No dessert or anything else though.

Today:
B - nothing Blush
L - cold lamb sausage, babybel
Will have to make sure I get some decent veg into dinner, as I'm still on the bunged up side.
Not enough water again - I used to be so good at drinking water and it's all slipped dreadfully since having DS2 - partly because of my dreadully weak pelvic floor, despite doing the exercises. It's worse at hormonal times - it got really bad at 12w pg, and never really recovered - that's what you get for having babies in your mid-40s, I guess.
Still, that's all an excuse, I just need to get back into the habit properly and I really should have done so by now.
