You will get there! 'Tweaking' is a more positive way of thinking about this....
Losing weight isn't easy. If it was we wouldn't be here
but with dogged determination and support, we can succeed.
On my first bc I put on half a stone in the first half, before losing it and a bit more in the second half, but I kept on and although I have been a bit of a prat the last two weeks, over the last year I've lost two stones, and I think I was still over eating quite a lot.
It's only since I've worked on that I am seeing consistent loss. And I'm still practicing getting the portion sizes right. Like today at lunchtime, I said I was going to have three chipolatas and a courgette (well, actually 2/3 of a small courgette since we're being exact) Now, I finished that meal, and actually at the end I didn't feel full. That is different to feeling hungry imo. So the answer at that point, is, go away from the kitchen, drink a half litre of water and wait ten minutes. If I'm still hungry, then yes it's genuine. However, that hasn't happened. I'm comfortably full. Sated. It's a habit of expectation. I think I need x amount, and in fact, I am happily surviving on almost half, and the only struggle is that my mouth wants more to chew, not my belly needing more in it iyswim?
Try not to give yourself a hard time. It's like learning to drive. You think you're getting nowhere and then suddenly you'll be driving to Glastonbury in your first clapped out Ford Fiesta!
