Morning campers!

You know the drill! Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation

So week 3 is fairly typically a bit of a bastard. And I'm afraid to have to tell you all that week 4 is sometimes its best friend.

Don't panic if the scales aren't moving, or even if you're seeing a slight increase. This is totally totally normal for this period of time

Keep focused, make sure you're following the rules - particularly eating the fat and drinking the water - and things should get going again shortly.

If you're struggling, post here rather than dive into the biscuit tin!

Good luck everyone

Hello!
Another week with no loss and is 3 in a row...!!!
I'm still the same weight that when I started this woe. I know BIWI, you will b telling me that I must have done something wrong, but like I said last week and the week before, I'm following this with not cheating at all.. What's the point to cheat and moan?
For whatever reason my body doesn't want to get rid of any weight at all.
I'm very disappointed but I haven't got other choice apart from stick to it.
So please Sayra could u add my weight? 150 pounds. Thanks

tartiflette · 09/02/2015 11:03

Lurking!! That will revolutionise my life breakfast time!

DrDiva · 09/02/2015 11:05

lurking ! Shock does it really work? I have no boiled eggs in the house and hav to leave soon. So who is going to try this in the name of nosiness science?

Thumbwitch · 09/02/2015 11:12

Wow, Lurking, that's amazing!
It's 10pm and I want to boil and egg just to try that right now!

Thanks for the tip re. potassium as well, Dr Diva - I don't think that's in my supplement but I'm eating a little fruit most days (mostly cherries, they're still on at the mo!) so that should sort the potassium out.

Everything I eat is salted, so I'm hoping that's not the issue either. Also hoping that the supplements have kicked back in by tonight!

CharlieSierra · 09/02/2015 11:29

I have lost 1lb - making 4lb so far this bc, but the good news is I've dropped into the 'stone' below

Am taking on board what BIWI said to me yesterday, determinedly drinking my water and no processed food (no marmite cheese Sad)

Today
b - avocado, olive oil, salt
l - chicken breast, green salad, large dollop hm mayo
d - making this theclothesmakethegirl.com/2011/06/21/chinese-pork-fried-frice/ with left over belly pork from last night, slightly adapted using a shallot and no sesame seeds

lurkingmurking · 09/02/2015 11:30

I have no idea - we need a test case!

BlueberryHope · 09/02/2015 11:32

Way too much TMI but am weighing-in tomorrow as, ahem, have not gone to the toilet yet this morning! Also was up at 4.20am with weirdly wide-awake 6yo (why? why?) so had had two giant cups of tea by the time I remembered it was weigh-in day... Well done losers and STSs, and don't worry gainers - it was beastly Week 3 after all! Have a good day.

trashcanjunkie · 09/02/2015 11:32

I'm down! So from not last week but the week before, when I was six lbs up, I came down two lbs last week and two this morning. I started bc a week early, so technically I'm on week five. Breakfast this morning was four rashers of bacon, some blue cheese and a small serving of Greek yog and blueberries. I have my tea with the uber creamy Graham's full fat milk.

BIWI perhaps you could ask mn to put some glittery moving tickers on the bottom of your posts?

MrsHerculePoirot · 09/02/2015 11:49

Right back at work after mat leave and starting bootcamp for me proper today. Well from lunchtime as I forgot breakfast as I forgot I wouldn't be going back home after school run!!!! Lunch - avocado, mozzarella, lettuce, cucumber

Thumbwitch · 09/02/2015 12:00

OMG!!! That egg thing is BRILLIANT! I had to fill the glass twice (might have lost too much water too quickly the first time) but when it worked, the shell did literally just slide off the egg in one piece!

Now eating egg mashed with mayo and grated cheddar with a bit of garlic salt...

Notso · 09/02/2015 12:02

I am amazed by that egg trick I don't even eat eggs but want to boil one now to try it.
Also clicked on a link lower down and have apparently been peeling oranges the wrong way all my life, who knew.

Is it Aldi or Lidl that has the low carb yoghurt? Morrisons have only had 0% total for the past three weeks now and their own brand FF yoghurt is on the carby side.

MrsKoala · 09/02/2015 12:02

Biwi - I know it was week 3 but it was my birthday and we had a champagne lunch on sat and then 2 glasses of wine with dinner in the evening. I'd rather be fat than not have wine on my birthday! Grin

anyway I'm not really that bothered with the scales as i am looking much slimmer (back to pre baby clothes now) and i have been doing a lot if exercise in the last week which is making me more toned and usually puts on a few pounds for me.

but now birthday is gone i am back to no wine. I promise. :)

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 09/02/2015 12:08

Lidl yoghurt in the big pots is low carb, the brand is eridanous

Notso · 09/02/2015 12:40

Thanks Ehric

B salad with a bit of coleslaw and cheese
L steak fried in butter and salad
D fakeaway donner kebab and more salad
Had an oxo and a couple of pork scratchings as a snack after shopping as was craving savoury.
Shred day 6 done. Was harder than day 5 I probably should have done it at the weekend too.

BIWI · 09/02/2015 12:51

Shock trash!

BIWI · 09/02/2015 12:52

Supermum - how tall are you?

OP posts:
EvaTheOptimist · 09/02/2015 12:56

Supermum do you have any other changes - any clothing that is looser etc? I am basically the same weight as when I started too - but have just been able to go back to my "thin" bra. So changes are afoot, even if the scales don't show it.

Thumbwitch · 09/02/2015 13:00

Oo, talking of "other changes": I decided not to measure anything this time, just to go on clothes comfort, and weight; but I have noticed that I can wear skirts/dresses again without worrying about that inner thigh chafing, that I'd just started to suffer with. It's summer here, so still effing hot a lot of the time, and I was having to wear shorts under skirts to stop the chafing - but no more! Hurrah! and my ankles look slimmer. :)

FurFoxAke · 09/02/2015 13:03

Hi all! Hope you all had a good weekend?

No loss as far as I know, but my jeans almost do up now, so I'm clearly losing something, which is yay!
Feeling really well (aside from my cough) which is also yay!

Good luck everyone, KOKO Grin

sassandfaff · 09/02/2015 13:05

god Zoe harcombe is good, but she out smarts me and I don't think I'm thick (although I concede I appear to be Grin )

I have to re read. A.LOT

I literally can't take any more in. (1 hour reading on the bike in the gym)

Amaxapax · 09/02/2015 13:11

I am taking heed of your posts, Biwi, but I'm on week six so was hopeful the three/four week stall wouldnt be an issue by now. Nevertheless, I'm just going to carry on.

ijustwanttobeme · 09/02/2015 13:41

Congratulations to all those losers out there. Week 3, as biwi often told us was going to be hard.

With that in mind, I wasn't going to weigh myself, but I did and... I have STS.

Not bothered though, because as well as it being week 3, I haven't been as careful as I should have been.

Am back on the BC wagon and so today I have had:

B: coffee with cream, ham, cheese and salad
L: half an avocado, roast chicken breast, huge salad, and some Caesar dressing.

Drinking so much water, I'm spending more time in the loo, than at my desk Smile

D: will be either beef meatballs, with plenty of cheesey, tomatoey sauce and another huge salad. If not it'll be spicy lamb mince, topped with spinach cooked with onions and chillies, and an egg cooked on the top of that.

fitflopqueen · 09/02/2015 13:46

No loss for me last week but very pleased as have had a week away in a lovely hotel with 3 course meals & some Wine. Definately did more exercise - walking/swimming and drank more water so hopeful of resuming downward trend next week.

costababe · 09/02/2015 13:48

Haven't posted food for a while
B 2xhb eggs and butter
S three small cubes of cheddar
L two small meat balls, mushrooms fried in butter, nicely decorated with a sprinkle of Parmesan
D steak, cauli cheese, runner beans and probably broccoli and mushrooms, herby butter sauce.
On glass 5 of 10.

LexLoofah · 09/02/2015 13:53

blueberry I feel your pain, we are getting DD coming in with us most nights or should I say mornings as always around 4am so by the time I have got back to sleep it is time to get up. Her reasons for coming in vary but my favourite is to tell me she is tired! Oh if only 4 year olds understood irony.

1lb down for me, 4lb for DH, just loved seeing the big grin on his face this morning when he got on the scales
