Morning campers!

You know the drill! Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation

So week 3 is fairly typically a bit of a bastard. And I'm afraid to have to tell you all that week 4 is sometimes its best friend.

Don't panic if the scales aren't moving, or even if you're seeing a slight increase. This is totally totally normal for this period of time

Keep focused, make sure you're following the rules - particularly eating the fat and drinking the water - and things should get going again shortly.

If you're struggling, post here rather than dive into the biscuit tin!

Good luck everyone

trash i find myself more hungry when i drink water, after a drink i feel ravenous, its as if it has reminded my stomach about food.

i feel faint now. both the dc are crying and my temper is short because i'm so hungry. dinner is on.

trashcanjunkie · 13/02/2015 19:47

Yes of course it's possible to overeat. The whole idea of high fat is that you shouldn't want to though..... I will tentatively suggest that you seem to mention weighing/measuring or limiting quite frequently, and I remember you have been under quite a bit of extra stress lately... Is it possibly that it's all gotten on top of you a bit, and coupled with everything that's going on you are having emotional hunger ( which can manifest as actual hunger pains) here? Just something to consider. Sorry you're feeling bloated.

trashcanjunkie · 13/02/2015 19:47

Ooh x post

trashcanjunkie · 13/02/2015 19:48

Aw mrsk Sad

trashcanjunkie · 13/02/2015 19:52

No butter doesn't count as dairy here. And I'm with you Mrssteve, I eat at around six usually, although with lc I can hang on til eight or nine if I have to, but I find myself running out of batteries if it's that late. And mrsk haven't you still got teeny dcs? Being tired and stressed always leave me craving food more than normal....

Mrsstevejones · 13/02/2015 19:57

If you are feeling faint and snappy - go eat something, nice bit of cheese with loads of mayo or whatever. I have gotten used to a spoonful of coconut oil washed down with a warm drink that really sorts me out - its extreme but works.

If i was you i would have a BPC and shout for your mum to help settle one DC whilst you do the other. Sending massive sympathies.

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 13/02/2015 19:59

ThanksThanks Nowits hopefully it's been caught early.

butter doesn't count as dairy MrsK, thank god!

I've given up on being good today and I've had cheese, cream, raspberries and a square of dark chocolate. DH is on nights and I find it really hard not to mainline chocolate while he's away. Instead, I'm watching the sewing bee and cutting out pieces to sew a t shirt. Fingers crossed!

CharlieSierra · 13/02/2015 20:17

Miffy think it was me said about the green bean 'fries', I love them. Just toss in olive oil and salt, chilli if you want, and bake until crispy but not cremated. They are the best chip substitute I've found.

sassandfaff · 13/02/2015 20:24

Sarah new series? Or old repeats?

Romeyroo · 13/02/2015 20:31

Not had a chance to catch up thread yet, looking forward to doing so laterSmile

Bit of a wonky day today as fridge almost empty and did not shop till near on 6pm.
B- cream cheese wrapped in ham x 3
L - at IKEA so had three of DS's meatballs (are they carby? Can't in-eat them but would be good to know), plus small salad bowl
Was very hungry before going shopping (hence thinking the meatballs had carbs), tried water and a cup of tea; did not want to hit the supermarket starving so - and this is how empty my fridge was - ate five remaining olives, the inside of a piece of quiche leftover from DC dinner last nightBlush and a bit of plain soya yogurt.

I haven't had dinner, but now I have all my shopping, I am not hungry. I might have some cucumber, cold chicken and Mayo in a bit or I might call my fridge odds and ends dinner. Not sure yet

Romeyroo · 13/02/2015 20:32

Can't uneat the meatballs, I meant

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 13/02/2015 20:35

Sass - new series, I didn't have time to see it yesterday! Someone is currently making a smartphone costume for a child...

Forgot earlier-

Swede: cooks much quicker grated and sautéed in butter with salt pepper. Yum.

sassandfaff · 13/02/2015 20:46

Ooooo. I love sewing bee!

Thanks

MrsKoala · 13/02/2015 20:48

sassandfaff · 13/02/2015 20:49

B- eggs and bacon
L- mushroom risotto
D- salmon and salad
S- cream and choc

Currently on 2nd glass of wine.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 13/02/2015 20:58

What is this sewing bee of which you speak?

BIWI · 13/02/2015 20:59

MrsK

Is it possible to eat too much fat on this WOE? Is there a limit i should set?

^It's hard to eat so much fat because you feel full very quickly. You should be aiming for around 60-70% of your diet to be fat.

Because the last 3 days i have eaten way more (loads of fatty meat and butter) and i think i have put on weight. My belly isn't as flat as it was and my clothes feel tighter. sad

Look, in the nicest possible way, you need to stop obsessing about this. You are breastfeeding, so you need to eat more. And if your belly isn't as flat 'as it was', then it was flat! So what's the problem? You've lost half a stone since we started Bootcamp, which is bloody good going!

I'm struggling a bit now and pretty hungry. I spend my time foraging around the kitchen for things to snack on. Today i have had:

B - 3 Egg omelette with cheese, spinach and mushrooms cooked in loads of butter.

Why not try adding a bit more protein to this, as well as fat, so try some streaky bacon with it?

L - (2 hrs later) Green pepper stuffed with half a pack of feta cheese, oregano and olive oil, roasted. On half a big bag of rocket and mixed leaves in an oily dressing.

That's a lot of cheese! But also, not really much food overall, as a lot of that is salad. How about tuna (canned in oil) with the salad?

s - salami, cup of marmite, 4 dst sp greek yogurt

OK - but also more dairy with the yoghurt

D - salmon, buttery celeriac mash, greens in butter.

How did you cook the salmon?

If you're hungry, you're not eating enough. You're not eating enough protein and possibly enough fat.

MrsS does butter count as dairy in this woe? Or are you just referring to the cheese? I'm not sure i could do this woe without cheese whether i was bfing or not blush .

Butter doesn't count, but milk, cream, yoghurt and cheese does. Why not try going without dairy for 2-3 days and see what happens?

I think one of the main problems is that i eat my dinner way too late and graze/snack from 4-8pm because i am so hungry. But i don't get the time to cook and eat before that because i have the boys and have to do bedtimes etc.

You need to make sure that you're eating. Three meals a day is far better than snacking here there and everywhere. I know you have the boys, but you have to start planning what you're going to cook for yourself. I'm sure you think about what you're cooking for the boys but why don't you think you're worth thinking about and planning for?

Atm i am at my parents and they don't eat till 9ish. I am starving and have just had 3 brazils and a slice of cheese.

Why don't you take over then, and cook for yourself?

The only meal i've been really full for longer than 2-3hrs recently has been the pork belly roasted i had with loads of mayo and salad.

Fab! Then you're learning what is going to work for you!

I feel really bloated today.

If you're bloated, this is a sign that you need to drink more water.

trash i find myself more hungry when i drink water, after a drink i feel ravenous, its as if it has reminded my stomach about food.

This is silly. If you're feeling ravenous simply because you're drinking water then YOU NEED TO EAT MORE! EAT MORE, BUT EAT MORE FAT AND EAT MORE PROTEIN. CUT BACK ON THE DAIRY!

i feel faint now. both the dc are crying and my temper is short because i'm so hungry. dinner is on.

This is also really bad. How on earth can you be feeling faint from eating what you've reported above? But if you are feeling faint, then again, you need to eat more.

However. I'm worried that you're talking about feeling faint. Have you had your blood pressure checked recently? Are you making sure that you're keeping your electrolytes balanced - are you eating foods that will give you plenty of sodium, magnesium and potassium?

MrsK - how much water are you drinking a day?

How much water have you had today?

Mrsstevejones · 13/02/2015 21:01

Just had half a greasy doner with mayo - yum. No pita. Someone mentioned it earlier and i couldnt get it out of my head. Also couldnt be bothered to do dinner so send hubby out to do his hunter gatherer bit.

Mrsstevejones · 13/02/2015 21:04

Sewingbee is amazing -i dont sew have zero interest in sewing but love it. Hubby even sulked when i deleted one he hadnt watched - its fab but gorgeous man (Patrick?) should shave off that bloody tache as he looks horrid with it and he was such a fox season 1.

Its on one of the BBCs at 7 i think.

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 13/02/2015 21:14

Shitty day today although it has not derailed me. In fact I haven't eaten much at all, not like me. I'm about to eat raspberries and cream although I feel like crying so I don't know if I'll enjoy it much.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 13/02/2015 21:16

I will have to look into it and look out for it. It might inspire me to finish off the half finished projects that have been abandoned for too long.

BIWI · 13/02/2015 21:20

Ehric - I saw your post on the other thread

i've had 3 pints so far and 6 cups of green tea. i am so so tired tho. i think it's skewing everything.

i can't cook because of the children. i do plan what to cook but i can't start till the dc are in bed. dc2 cries non stop atm. i am away from home every weekend so can't batch cook much. dh is spending lots of time away with pils/work.

i cook for ds1 once a week and freeze it all so i don't have to plan what to cook him daily (lots of mash and stews) and Lunch is sandwiches, eggs, beans, toast, soup - something quick. breakfast is porridge.

SayraT · 13/02/2015 21:25

Sorry to hear that Ehric hope you are ok?

I went to the big Tesco on my way home from dog sitting tonight, they sell all sorts of things!

I bought double cream and clotted cream, frozen raspberries and frozen blueberries, ground flax and brazil nut mix and some spirulina. Not a great day again but I am not at home so away from biscuits (I don't buy them/have them in the house but dog sitting person had provided some for me).

B: LC sausages, coffee with cream
L: Smoked salmon salad
D: Leftover cauli-pizza and celeriac chips, clotted cream and sugar-free jelly (I know I shouldn't have the jelly)
S: pork scratchings, non-LC biscuits
