Evening everyone. I hope you're all ready, prepared and raring to go!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness:

for you to enter your starting weight

Have a good look at the tabs at the bottom, as there you will find the rules, the list of allowed veg and lots of other really useful information.

I've also started the questions thread , so if you have anything you need to ask, that's the best place to ask it. The chat threads move really quickly in the first weeks, so this thread is the best place to ask your questions.

And this time around, I thought it might be useful to have a thread to post about good/interesting low carb products that you come across:

Here

Good luck!

Morning. I tracked down the buttermint tea. And it does indeed smell and taste like murrary mints. My favourite is still the liquorice so far though.

mrssteve are you me? I'm roughly the same weight and height and I started Jan 1st, but going hardcore since Monday! Can I ask what dress size you are at your weight and height? Just curious to see if it's the same. I'm a size 16, so you can just answer yes or no if you're the same if you dont want to say. Smile

Yesterday.

B-scrambled eggs mackerel
L- left over cauli pancetta mash
D- farmers sausages bacon fried egg
S-olives whipped cream

Mrsstevejones · 22/01/2015 10:33

Hi sass, i am size 18 but can sqeeezzzee into some more generous size 16s but they are a bit too tight on the tummy. I am hourglass shape - although my waist is a lot wider than it used to be, i have massive boobs 40 e/f and big hips. I have had two babies and carry a lot of blubber on my tummy inc a rather impressive overhang after 2 c secs- sigh. I also have very big tops of my arms and hate them - i need to be very thin before i like my arms.

I need to start 30 day shred just scared! Did it previously soi know what i am letting myself in for.My excuse is... i am waiting until i am keto adapted, i keep meaning to start swimming again but havent actually done it yet.

Dont worry about asking it is, what it is and if you cant fess up on an anonymous forum then where can you!

It will be interesting to compare our sizes as our weight drops, good luck

Almahart · 22/01/2015 10:37

Breakfast of one cold sausage (asda 2carbs per 100g) and the left over cold chicken thigh with skin on when I got to work. One coffee with doubke cream, one black decaff. Still feel hungry Sad.

TheGrinchWearsStripes · 22/01/2015 10:40

lurking you are a genius! I never thought of bringing cream with me, and have been forgoing coffee on work days. I shall do that from here on in.

StuntNun · 22/01/2015 10:50

MrsSteve I would encourage you to start the 30-day shred sooner rather than later. I lost weight to reach my goal weight without doing much in the way of exercise so I was at target but still had somewhat 'soft'. It took me 72 days to do the 30 days Shock but it was still really effective. Once my upper arms, legs and bum were toned it made a huge difference to the way I looked even at the same weight. My tummy wasn't great but it was still a whole lot better than before I started the shred.

lurkingmurking · 22/01/2015 10:55

Grinch I am having to do a bit of a suspicious looking coffee run as for some reason I don't want anyone to witness me putting cream in my coffee! It works though, I hate coffee without sweetener but the cream just takes the edge off

sassandfaff · 22/01/2015 10:58

You are me!!!

40e boobs here too. 3 c secs, but 4 babies.
I'm 5'4 if i stretch
14.1 stones now but started at 14.9.

Smile
Pisseslikeahorse · 22/01/2015 11:34

morning..

Just been having a bit of a late breakfast after this mornings run and reading the thread. Gosh Confused

B. Coffee cream
(Second breakfast) pork chop 3 eggs leek cheese garlic fried.
L Avocado salad
D tuna avocado cauliflower mayo

Mrsstevejones · 22/01/2015 11:49

Sass isnt that weird I am 5ft 5 and a bit! Yet our dress sizes are different at similar weights, we must carry the weight differently. Might go try on my 16 jeans again just in case lol.

Thanks stuntnun will dust off 30ds - I tried yoga melt down the other day and managed 16 mins of the 30min disc and realised that fitness wise I have a long rd ahead. It nearly killed me. Might start this weekend.

Having my hair chopped off this weekend - so that should be another lb gone. I decided I am worth it and to stop putting being nice to myself until I meet some imaginary goal I never meet. Thats the reason I had a splurge on eBay - I am worth it - right now not in 2 stones time or whatever. I used to think you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear but I left that kind of negative thinking in 2014 - it didn't do me any favours.

Good luck all x

sassandfaff · 22/01/2015 12:17

mrssteve I refer to myself as dense. Not in a negative way, just a weight way. My mum is the same and so is my daughter. We are heavy even when we are small. I have the majority of my weight around my belly including an c section overhang too. I bought a pair of size 16 jeans two weeks ago and they were a struggle getting on. Now I can pull them down without undoing them. Also I can tell by the fact that the bottom of my jeans keep getting soaking when I go outside because they're hanging lower on my hips. Grin

I have kept most of my old clothes and only by piecemeal clothes, because I will not accept that i'm going to stay this size. I only just recently (DEC) went through all my old clothes and give some to charity because I realised that I might not actually want to wear some of them again (fashion change, I changed sort of thing) I've been so busy being determined to fit into them again that it hadn't occurred to me that I might not want too.

You do deserve stuff now. Good luck to you too.

sassandfaff · 22/01/2015 12:18

soaked and buy

Notso · 22/01/2015 12:25

Interesting Sass and Mrssteve I am similar heigh to you both 5foot 4ish, and 38 G bra size. I weighed 14.9lb on Monday. I squeeze my tummy into 16 leggings and jeggings but they are baggy on my legs. My tops and dresses are 18/20 to cover my stomach and boobs.
Also wanting to try the shred again.

Woke up with a stinking headache today, not sure if it's bootcamp, caffine withdrawal or tiredness or all three. Also feel a bit jittery.
Pleased with myself though as I met a friend for coffee and declined all cakes, toasties and lattes. I opted for a black coffee with cream.

Breakfast was 3 cold sausages,
Lunch, poached salmon, rocket, cucumber and mayo,
Dinner, cauliflower cheese soup with bacon.

On my 4th 300ml glass of water.

MrsKoala · 22/01/2015 12:37

MrsSteve ad Sass, you both sound lovely, however, if you think you have massive boobs and are size 16s i doubt you are e cups. Sorry to derail, but have you been on any Bra Intervention threads? If not they are a revelation. I went from a 40a to a 36dd i am a size 16 and i have TINY boobs. So if you are lovely and ample of nork and are only a 16 you may actually be wearing the wrong size and be smaller of back (those of us who carry a bit of extra chub often wear a too large back and smaller cup) and larger of cup. Sorry for interrupting and feel free to ignore me. :)

Mrsstevejones · 22/01/2015 12:40

I have a massive unbearable wardrobe from 12-20. I will bin everything the moment i shrink out of it, i wont allow myself to get big again. This is a woe rather than a diet and it makes me feel fab and i am convinced its healthier.

I have a huge wardrobe of size 14s - think 2 suitcases and 2 massive drawers and a huge laundry basket. I need to sort it out as its all pre DC so like you some wont be suitable (eyes massive pile of 3 inch high heels) and most of it will look well dated.

I am interested in the 333 project, so looking seriously at capsule type wardrobe with quality clothes not the exploitative bad for the environment throw away clothes that i currently buy. That again links into the not feeling worth expensive clothes (i.e more than £3.99 a top not prada!) - refuse to do that now, although budget a bit of an issue!

Def got an energy burst so might do it and now and get kids to help. A little trot to the charity shop would be good exercise.

I read it was about 10-12 pounds in a clothes size so maybe by end of month will be in 16s - fingers crossed.

Falling down jeans is such a fab feeling. I am looking forwards to the "have you lost weight?" to which i might nonchalantly say maybe ( and do a little internal dance)

I lost loads right before my last 2 pregnancies and was just fitting a size 10. But to be honest my staple size throughout my 20's and 30's was a size 14. I would fluctuate up to a 16 and down to a 12. 2009 was the 1st but hopefully not want the last time I get in a size 10.

Read the Marie kondo book. £4.68 kindle if you want to transform your clothes house I did it before Christmas and I could snog the women for it. Grin

mrsk I will look into that. Thank you.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 22/01/2015 12:53

Yy to bra intervention! I'm now a 34g and my boobs are not what i'd call large at all

Similar clothes size here, except i'm a little taller at 5'10". Weigh 222lbs though. I'm 'dense' too, even at my skinniest i'm not light.

sassandfaff · 22/01/2015 12:53

Sorry for mistakes. I could blame it on the 3yr old currently wrapped around the back other couch and my neck whilst she plays with my hair and sucks her thumb, but I make just as many when she's not here.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 22/01/2015 12:54

Doh, meant to post my lunch...

Pate on cucumber and hot marmite drink :)

sassandfaff · 22/01/2015 12:56

Of the...... Grrr

I'm going to stop correcting myself, because the news feed will just be all me!

Just take it as read that I'm not quite as thick as i appear to be. Grin

galbraith · 22/01/2015 13:01

Well, after invoking the wrath of BIWI yesterday I was extremely strict with myself Grin.

I've come down with a bad cold and I think I might simultaneously be a bit carb flu-y (constantly a bit chilly and exhausted), but it's hard to seperate the two.. My appetite seems to have gone down a lot too and I'm finding that things I usually like taste horrible. I think this is because of my cold rather than an unpleasant side-effect of the WOE.

Anyhoo, today's menu is as follows:
B: spinach/feta/egg muffins (honestly these made me nearly heave this morning, WTF)
L: mushroom and cream soup (dreading eating this and no idea why)
D: chicken and coconut milk korma, kale, cauli rice

Anyway... I AM looking forward to having a chunk of Cheddar and a mug of veg bouillon when I get home this evening. Here's hoping this weird nausea passes.

galbraith · 22/01/2015 13:02

P.S. sneakily weighed myself this morning and 2lb down already - half a stone down in total since I weighed myself on Christmas Eve morning!

MoJangled · 22/01/2015 13:17

Lurking and anyone else feeling a bit embarrassed about putting cream in coffee at work, or asking for it in restaurants/cafes, this is my technique:

'Do help yourself to cream if you'd prefer; this is how they drink it on the continent and it's much nicer. I don't even like it with milk now, this is much more civilised!'

Not only do I not get the raised eyebrow, I've converted half my friends to cream in coffee Grin

MrsKoala · 22/01/2015 13:18

Beyond i think we had this conversation last thread, but i am 5ft 10 too. atm i'm a size 16. I'm also very heavy for the way i look and have never been below 11.9 st as an adult. And that is me at a size 10/12 and the absolute skinniest my bones could allow me to go. (I was 10st when starting secondary school at 11yo and 5ft4in)

MoJangled · 22/01/2015 13:23

While we're at it:

Breakfast: BPC
Brunch: 3 scrambled eggs with butter, coffee with cream (a la civilised continentals)
Snack: mozzarella slices rolled around rocket leaves dipped in olive oil (my version of a LC wrap)
Supper: fat-on pork chops with fennel roasted in oil

Very happy to report that I think I'm still fat-adapted from the last boot camp, as this is coming easy and I feel great.

Sharing the hourglass figure pain, Mrss and sass and completely agree about bra sizes Mrskoala - I look like I've gained a stone in a saggy or wrong size bra.
