Week 7 - Low Carb Bootcamp - Where the End is Almost in Sight!

Morning all!

Hope that you had a good week and that the scales are kind to you today.

Come and confess all on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness and/or on the Weight Tracker

So we have four more weeks left. A focused effort could see another four or even eight pounds disappear. Which would be 8 or 16 packs of lard!

Just to keep you focused on that, here's a picture of just one measly pound of fat. Imagine losing four of these - or how much eight of them might be Grin

If you are retaining water you will struggle to see a move in the scales but you could still be loosing fat underneath it all. Hubby has lymphoedema in one leg and when the weather gets warm he can gain 10lbs in a singe day even with his support hose! It also drops just as fast when his body lets go of the water. It does make it hard to stay focused though. Listen to Biwi, even if you retain fluid you still need to drink your ration. Unless you have kidney probs a good intake will fool your body into letting go of what its storing.

Thanks for the replies Grin

I think I am drinking enough water, 2 1/2- 3 litres a day. It's sometimes a bit of an argument with myself to drink, drink, drink but I do it. Perhaps I should try to drink more in the warmth?

I'll come on and post my actual food and fluid intake this evening, although I'm planning on pork belly strips and buttery spinach for lunch or tea. Breakfast so far has been a chicken leg and a small decaf BPC, I might have another chicken leg in a bit although I'm not hungry. Not sure about the other meal. It will probably end up being more chicken legs and salad (barbecue left overs).
And lots or water.... Grin

I was brave and measured my stomach. At it's smallest point it was 93cm Blush at week four (!) and is now 97.(started at 100). So still a loss, which is encouraging even though I've gained. Not weighing myself though ohhhh no.

I hope everyone here had a good night and has a good day, I'll check in later with my food/fluid intake.
Laters.

Stayed the same.

I know my water intake was rubbish over the weekend so I will address that today. Plus dairy has been creeping back in (3 for 2 on Halloumi in Tesco at the moment!) and I can definitely say that dairy stalls me.

Got some new summer clothes this weekend and it was an enjoyable shopping trip. I could choose clothes I liked rather than what fit. I had an actual choice!!

Same here jimmy. TOM though.

Back in a skirt that I haven' been able to do up for about a year! And wearing a t-shirt that used to ride up because of all my extra waistage. Yay!

Well done IrianofWay Grin
