I've patented my own version. Egg in a bowl. It's very different. Ok, there's only one difference. Guess what it is?

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 12/05/2014 22:20

The world is conspiring against me!
Got home after a very good day. Made:a kind of aubergine parmigiana, mince fried with half a small onion. Layered with griddles aubergine, sprinkled with 2 finely chopped sun dried toms and with a sliced tom on top with cheese and grilled. Meanwhile, fried black farmer sausages for snack. Cooked chicken thighs with garlic and butter in order to make soup tomorrow with leeks. Dd announced she wanted pancakes. Pancakes! So bi pile made, covered in various amounts of carby sweetness. I resisted. Every time temptation beckoned, big glass of water.
Just sat down to eat, my lift to WI was waiting. Had water not coffee. And resisted the home made bloody Madeira cake.
Got home, nuked my dinner. Could only eat half a bowl. Dh has eaten my sausages. Salted coffee.
I am patting myself on the back.

trashcanjunkie · 12/05/2014 22:20

Evening all you lovelies. Big congratulations to all the losers, and commiserations to stallers/gainers. Even though I'm strict as buggery I've gained, but really even though I want to slice parts of myself off in frustration the trend is our friend, and we need to just keep on keeping on.

Hello LMD sounds like you have a touch of the doldrums, so big love comin' atcha... I'm really fighting it at the mo'

I took my selfie but can't post it cos I'm at dps and have the wrong computer.

peoooooony I have just wet myself with excellence at GOT!!

Night night everybody Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 12/05/2014 22:21

Night trashy Smile

AnnaDoreta · 12/05/2014 22:22

Egg in a cup made me laugh out loud - brilliant - I am going to try that and egg in a bowl for a bit of variation.

Can you eat too much butter? I think I got through almost 2 packs last week. It felt very indulgent!

Got through my cravings and am now off to bed feeling very virtuous for not giving in. Will look at the havening - all tips gratefully received.

Sleep tight

Lighthousekeeping · 12/05/2014 22:43

Wedding on Loch Lomond and it will be a proper do. Huge family reunion. I'm determined this week that I'm not going to cheat. I will not beable to avoid the booze next week. It just wouldn't be a wedding without it. The full Scotish breakfast every morning for five mornings is worrying though. Is black pudding a thing there?

gillyginger · 12/05/2014 23:29

Firstly SayraT thank you for adding weights to spreadsheet

B avocado omelette
L Cajun chicken salad
S chicory leaves and cheese
D celery and goats cheese soup
Bpc, coffee with cream, 6 pints of water and cup of herbal tea

Absolutely wrecked today, finished work, picked kids up from school and decided to clean and rearrange the living room, got rid of loads of rubbish though, so happy about that,

night night all

readyforno2 · 13/05/2014 00:23

Bad move...

Just got home from a staff meeting after aerobics absolutely starving so ate a bowlful of mushrooms fried in butter and garlic. Was so good but far too late to eat Confused

ImSoOverIt · 13/05/2014 06:09

Lighthouse- good luck with the wedding. I have just been to one and managed to be pretty good apart from booze, still had a small loss, and managed to do it quite discreetly and still have a great time. It is a great feeling to come away and have not completely blown it. You can do it! Smile

Best1sWest · 13/05/2014 06:09

Still nothing. Going off tO have a lilies sulk now.

Best1sWest · 13/05/2014 06:09

SirNoel · 13/05/2014 06:14

Morning all

Had my decaf BPC for breakfast. Let's hope it keeps me full til lunchtime Hmm

Hang in there Best it'll happen soon, really. Sorry I can't remember if you've posted a typical menu or not? Sometimes it can show up potential sticky points

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 13/05/2014 07:18

My first BPC. Bleauuugh. Cocunutty.
However, eggs in a cup. The inventor deserves a Nobel prize.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 13/05/2014 07:19

I'm nothing too Best. But I feel good and I feel thinner less bloated

Pisseslikeahorse · 13/05/2014 07:24

just hitting up my first pint of the day, admitting that I need to drink more water than my 4.5ltr as I'm training so much blub blub blub

Lighthousekeeping black pudding got me very excited, had a look online and the Sainsbos one is 18g carb Sad. Perhaps the square sausage...

Today I will be mostly eating:
B. yogurt, BPC
L.eggs mushroom surprise
D. Pork chops cauliflower roast

RatherBeOnThePiste · 13/05/2014 07:26

arf at Pseudo Grin

Keeping on, keeping on here. Fab-larse :)

SayraT · 13/05/2014 07:33

lighthouse keeping yes we have black pudding, and it is lovely, its got really fine bit of suet in it, not huge big white lumps Grin Cooked breakfast every morning will be perfect, just avoid; fruit pudding, black pudding, potato scones and bread Smile

No idea whi invented it ohwhat but I can hang onto the Nobel prize until the true inventor steps forward Grin

best I'm sorry, I don't have time to read back and see what you've posted before so sorry if you already been asked/answered. How long have you been doing LC for and do you have a lot to lose? As SirNoel says can you post a typical days food and someone might be able to stop something that you can do? Really one of the important things is drinking enough water, so make sure you are doing that. Stick with it and it will come off. Unfortunately some people lose much slower than others which can be disheartening when you see others losing and you are not.

It is not a race and you are doing this for you, no one else so it doesn't matter how long it take you to get there. At the moment are you enjoying the food you are eating? Feeling satisfied? If so then try and focus on the non-weight related benefits of LCing

food today

B: pork sausages, coffee with cream
L: leftover pork belly, mushrooms, shallots in sour cream and paprika sauce (I needed to finish the sour cream, one downside of living alone, you often end up eating the same thing over and over Grin)
D: Chicken something
S: FF yogurt, spoonful of coconut cream

calzone · 13/05/2014 07:34

Made a frittata last night for today.

Fried bacon, mushrooms, leeks, courgettes, added4 eggs with cream, cheese on top.

Mmmmmm SmileSmile

Today will be 3 litres water

B...bpc, ff yoghurt

L...frittata and creamy leeks

D...sausages, swede mash, broccoli

Have a good day everyone!!BrewBrew

monkeyfacegrace · 13/05/2014 07:40

Haha! A real life mother fucking whoosh! Lost 1.5lb overnight!

Ok so only a small whoosh but now I'm 142.6lb wooohooo!

NeverHadANickname · 13/05/2014 07:47

Morning!

Today will be:
B - BPC (made it with butter and a slosh of cream, does that still count?) and an egg fried with loads of butter which I enjoyed, sometimes eggs don't agree with me first thing and I end up feeling sick.
D - Leftover paprika pork with salad, olives and mayo. This pork is lasting ages because it's so filling with all of the butter and porky oil mmm and I'm finding I don't eat as much generally as I used to.
T - Erm possibly something with left over roast pork, have some blue cheese that I could do with using, possibly in a cream sauce? And any veg I can find or a salad.

I drank 2.5 litres of water yesterday which is a personal best. Still not how much I need it to be but its getting easier to drink.

Hope everyone has a good day.

SayraT · 13/05/2014 07:48

Woohoo! Monkey Grin

NeverHadANickname · 13/05/2014 07:51

Well done mokey, that's great.

SayraT I'm the same with eating the same things over and over, DH doesn't eat a lot of the things I do but I don't mind most of the time, it's a bit disappointing if I have loads of something I didn't like much left because I hate waste.

lookingforhope · 13/05/2014 07:51

Late weigh in here as only started last Tuesday - 4lb off! Beyond delighted as am usually a slow loser and have not been hungry once. Thanks to the marvellous BIWIand Sayra and all of you! Not been posting much cos usually on phone, but so grateful for this BC. Have lost 1" off waist too so looking less aubergine shaped than usual GrinGrinGrin. Off to work with spring in step - thanks everyone Thanks

NeverHadANickname · 13/05/2014 07:59

4lb is brilliant looking well done. I love it when you notice a difference in measurements, it feels more real sometimes than weight especially when your clothes feel looser.

alleypalley · 13/05/2014 08:06

Okay, I've just come across a side effect if this woe that I'm not too impressed with.

I've just got my first period in over 4 years!!!

I'm on the depo jab for contraception, which stopped my periods, and now they've come back. I just had to go out to the shop for tampons! Luckily there's one just around the corner.

On the plus side though I went down another lb on the scales since yesterday.
