No weight loss here but only started onTuesday so hoping for something tomorrow.

Today I have had
B Black Farmer Sausage. Aldi's Greek yoghurt.
L roast chicken, buttered leeks, mashed swede.
D prawns, salad, Aldi's coleslaw, mayo. Some coconut cream.

Currently on my third litre of water.
1 black tea, 2 coffees with a tiny bit of milk.

ImSoOverIt · 12/05/2014 19:33

Welcome red!

B - yogurt with cream, coffee with cream

L - very little - sandwiches provided at a work lunch and I managed to pick out a bit of cheese and egg mayo and have a few slices of cucumber.

D - was ravenous so had big omelette with mushrooms and cheese fried in butter, some asparagus also buttered, salad and lots of mayo.

Didn't drink enough water today - was in theatre/clinic all day and a meeting all lunch and didn't stop Sad.

Redtartanshoes · 12/05/2014 19:36

Thanks!

Am currently sorting out summer/winter clothes (hoping it will provide aforementioned motivation) so will have a read through and take notes in a wee bit

HolgerDanske · 12/05/2014 19:43

Petals I looked at the spreadsheet and at the moment it is set to record (starting weight - New weight) so where people haven't weighed in today it is showing their starting weight because it is recording, for example: 100 - 0 which is 100

Never never give up the cream in coffee its delicious!

Holger no problem changing the spreadsheet Smile and it seems to be ok now, showing a loss of 1.4lbs which is correct I think?

Lighthousekeeping morning rolls are shit, you don't want one Smile where is the wedding?

I have added your weights to spreadsheet gilly

stunt your whoosh fairy explanation was much more detailed than mine Grin

rather I just looked round my house, I think my housekeeping mechanism is broken too! I tried coconut oil in coffee once (and I did blend it) but it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tried. All oily and yucky Envy

monkey you are doing really well, I think you've had an amazing loss since January haven't you?

Hello LMD hope you are feeling better soon Flowers

spamm I've added you to the spreadsheet, I don't know whats wrong, none of the permissions have changed and everyone else seems ok? You can go on and try it again if you want?

Well done CQ on the non-wine drinking Smile

A whole stone Iwill thats fantastic Grin

Hello red and welcome, I think someone has already posted the rules but there is also a weight tracker and a spreadsheet that you can record your weight on. The tracker is private and the spreadsheet public, you can use, either, neither or both. If you want to use the spreadsheet then here is the link, just add your name at the bottom and I will sort it later Spreadsheet

So my food for the day has been:

B: Mushrooms fried in butter, duck egg and coffee with cream
L: Tuna mayonnaise with little gem lettuce, cucumber and peppers
D: Pork with paprika sour cream sauce and vegetables
S: FF yogurt and coconut cream

StuntNun · 12/05/2014 20:16

Holger do they still have the spicy ones in stock?

HolgerDanske · 12/05/2014 20:25

Not sure, i didn't look as they're a little too hot for me.

Locarblil · 12/05/2014 20:25

Biwi, really? Even with all that cream. I have just slathered butter on my veg for dinner in that case,

Will try for more organised tomorrow - eggs for bf for a start

StuntNun · 12/05/2014 20:28

Amazon do still have the Posh Pork Scratchings in stock.

StuntNun · 12/05/2014 20:31

B: three eggs scrambled with bacon in
L: leftover thai curry, Greek yoghurt with cream
S: Babybel
D: steak with mushroom sauce, fried courgettes
Supper: chicken wings marinaded in Idiot Proof Diet cookbook Cajun spice mix and olive oil

DH has just opened a bottle of wine! Bad DH!

AnnaDoreta · 12/05/2014 20:37

Hello - I started with you all last week but haven't posted before - just reading all the advice.

I've really stuck to it perhaps with a bit too much cheese but as I lost 3lbs this week, perhaps it wasn't too much. I started at 13stone exactly and so am now 12.11 - aiming for 11.7 (as I have never been able to stay below that weight and am actually pretty happy there even though still a bit flabby (only 5 ft 6)

I was thrilled to bits with the loss as I've been messing around losing and gaining the same 2lbs for months - its so refreshing to try something completely new.

However, this evening I am massively craving something sweet and I almost don't know what to do with myself - does any one have any tips?

This is the first craving I've had - I accidently and completely without thinking licked my finger after giving my little one calpol this evening and so I wonder if it was that tiny bit of sugar that has started this - or perhaps I'm overthinking it...

Is there anything I can eat which will itch this craving or is it best to just try and keep busy and away from the kitchen?

I've had a delish dinner of roast duck, mashed cauli and broccoli covered in butter - so I don't really need anything else to eat.

Thanks for all your help so far!

calzone · 12/05/2014 20:40

Anna....try a fruit tea or some ff yoghurt.

Have a bath.

Paint your nails.

Go to bed. Grin

magso · 12/05/2014 20:43

B:boiled egg and butter, small helping of greek yogurt, redbush with lactose free milk.
L: pork chop with buttered broccoli, mushrooms and asparagus.
D: venison meat balls with tomato sauce (no sauce for me) celeriac mash with cream and coconut oil ( Ds spat it out!) baby sweet corn and spinach (rest had pot mash and sugar snap peas)
Variation of BPC but with 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa instead of coffee which I don't drink. Ds had to rince his mouth out after tasting it but I quite like it and it staved off my chocolate yearnings.
Snack - got very hungry as I was delayed getting home for lunch, so picked up a small packet of pine nuts ( I know - but I couldn't find anything better). I ate about 10 (they are very small), chewing each slowly while I drove home. Nearly 3 before lunch!

I am holding out, StuntNun - I am too tight to pay more :-)

I'll be fine, won't have much need for pork scratchings in the next few days. Could always make my own...

AnnaDoreta · 12/05/2014 21:14

Thanks for the tips - have just done a little bit of work and am now tempted to paint my nails when I really have some ironing to do.

I had a teaspoon of total yog - it does seem to have taken the edge off a little.

One more question - when people talk about an egg in a cup - what do they mean - I've tried to look back but can't seem to find anything.

Thank you again

StringBeanJean · 12/05/2014 21:26

4lb!

Well done everyone Grin

calzone · 12/05/2014 21:45

I thought egg in a cup was going to be a revelation but (I think) it is just a hb egg mashed with mayo in a cup.

Could be wrong though.

Clarification needed please! Smile

SayraT · 12/05/2014 21:57

Egg in a Cup

I think it was me that introduced it to the last BC, it might be a West of Scotland thing as no one at work (East) knew what it was either.

Basically, boil egg(s) chop up in cup with a ton of butter, eat with a teaspoon to extend the joy!

I love egg in a cup Grin

lowcarbforthewin · 12/05/2014 22:11

Twinings blueberry tea has gotten me through a lot of cravings, as has shaving my legs or putting on some music.

Have a look into the Havening too. I have only briefly looked into it, it's a Paul McKenna technique which apparently really works. Lots of people swear by it (it's on YouTube)- it's a series of eft tapping techniques
