Wow! So much nattering that we've filled up the thread before the end of the week!

Here's the link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for tomorrow morning.

And, for the Weight Tracker I'm not quite sure what happens with this link I think that you will be asked to enter your weight for this week and then you will see your individual graph.

I hope you all had a good week last week, and very good luck for week 2.

Bootcamp sushi is sashimi, surely! mmmm... sashimi... drool...

NellVarnish · 21/01/2014 22:18

Thumb I've not actually made the cauliflower rice yet, might try it at the weekend - I might give it a go and report back.

Steeleye - yum, good plan!

ElBombero · 21/01/2014 22:28

To clarify cauliflower rice... Blend it up cooked then shallow fry? Trying boiling n mashing but wasn't that nice

NellVarnish · 21/01/2014 22:42

Not sure El, I don't have a food mixery thing so was going to grate it and then who knows?!

Crabby I've pinned your blog to my LowCarb board on Pinterest so I don't lose it. Looking forward to trying the recipes out. It's a fab blog!

Apart from piggy cheeks Grin.

GrumpyCrossPatch · 21/01/2014 22:44

Haven't been able to keep up, there's so many messages! Hope everyone who has had a tough time this week starts to feel better soon. There are some amazing losses too. I have lost 5lb but DH lost 11! Thnk he might have fixed the scales Grin.

I think I have had the world's longest dose of carb flu. I have only started to feel better today - no afternoon/evening crash and no feeling that it would be easier to wade through treacle than climb the stairs! Tonight's swim felt pretty good but the real test will be tomorrow's run.

giraffeseatpineapples · 21/01/2014 22:46

grating cauliflower works and you can then quickly dry fry it in a large non stick pan. Also one video I saw suggested freezing it in portions as quite messy to prepare.

Evening losers! And a bit late, but Happy Birthday to sayrat Thanks

B 2 eggs, 2 sausages, mushrooms all fried in butter
L 2 slices fried pork belly, with spinach (quickly wilted in the frying pan in the butter/pork juices, mmmmmm ) and blob of mayo
D beef with the Famous Creamy Braised Cabbage, sooooo good, I ate a mountain of it and still scraped the pot for the last tiniest bit.

Have ordered swede on my shopping list, thanks for the reminder/mentions above. Feeling a bit PMSy so mashed swede with butter is lovely idea.

Everyone, please remember we also have the BC Questions thread. Things move so fast on here in the first few weeks, it's easy for someone's question to be overlooked in a general post, but the Qs Thread should get you an answer to anything specific.

ToomuchIsBackOnBootcamp · 21/01/2014 23:03

Big welcome to happygirl this WOE is fab once you get used to it. Lots of ideas on our recipe thread!

NellVarnish · 21/01/2014 23:13

Thanks giraffes and supersal, grating it is.

Night everyone, keep on keeping on! Sweet dreams ...

CrabbyWinterBottom · 21/01/2014 23:21

Thanks Nell, glad you like it. Smile

Pretty Angry about your dH's bike. Thieving bastards. Hmm

Sayra Happy Birthday! Flowers

ImATot hope your DD is ok.

Super when I'm in ketosis I often get that slightly nauseous feeling where I don't feel hungry, or do feel hungry but can't stomach anything that I'm allowed to eat. It does pass.

Pisci that picture always makes me laugh. Grin

Queen that's a brilliant loss. Flowers

Much better day today. Feeling back to normal physically and through both virus and carb flu. I feel so much clearer headed and am not craving crap much now. Am not feeling particularly hungry, in fact slightly nauseous, but feel better after I eat. I'm much calmer at my shittiest point in the day, between 5 and 6pm.
L - crispy bacon, half and avocado, some fried baby tomatoes, mozzarella and a little roast chicken with homemade mayonnaise.
D - leftover braised pigs' cheeks with roasted fennel and mashed swede.
S - pork scratchings
3 teas, plenty water.

Lovecat · 21/01/2014 23:27

Night all, just wanted to say whoever invented celeriac dolphin pose (love that DYAC) is a Goddess... it was gorgeous! I am going to try the braised creamy cabbage next :)

Drank loads of water today and feeling good :o Chester and Grumpy hope you feel better soon.

Happy Birthday Sayra Thanks and Grr for Mr Prettybird and his stolen bike.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/01/2014 06:38

Morning all :)

I dreamt about noodles last night Confused

BIWI · 22/01/2014 06:41

Pistey - get yourself to the nearest Korean/Japanese supermarket and buy yourself some shirataki noodles

Zero carbs!

BIWI · 22/01/2014 06:41

I bought my last lot online rather than go to the supermarket

Morning,
I've had a first world crisis this week-my dishwasher has broken down. OH doesn't see why this is such a big problem so I bought him a new pair of marigolds and ordered a new dishwasher to be delivered on Saturday.

Yesterday's food
B- boiled egg, ham, slice of Gouda
L- tuna mayo, homemade coleslaw, salad leaves. Natural yoghurt
D- prawn, salmon and spinach curry with cauliflower rice.
S- some pork scratchings

Today, not sure what to have for dinner tonight - I have some sausages and some mince that needs using.
Dos anyone have a low carb chilli recipe?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/01/2014 07:05

My dishwasher went in the run up to Christmas. I said many rude words with plenty of ffffs. Sympathies!

I have ordered some shirataki noodles!!

I also had a weird dream about shoes, I think I should buy shoes too Grin

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 22/01/2014 07:30

I love my dishwasher! It is part of the family and when they breaks (as they do when you need them most) I am bereft. I hate doing dishes, although we seem to have the empty/stack dishwasher wars which are as bad as whos turn is it to do the dishes? Grin

I feel your pain.

BIWI - I got noodles from Ocado in my last order that are called slim noodles. You heard of them?

GrumpyCrossPatch · 22/01/2014 07:45

Help! I am trying to resist daily weighing but failing! 145 on Monday, 146 yesterday and 146.2 today. Intellectually I know the trend is my friend but I am unhappy! Not a single cheat has passed my lips, I have guzzled water until my organs are swimming and I am exercising. Not period related and have been nicely regular. (TMI alert.)

Yesterday:
B: scrambled eggs with chews and cream
L: left over belly pork, fondant swede and broccoli.
T: low carb lasagna with blanched leeks in place of pasta.
S: babybel, olives, Parma ham

GrumpyCrossPatch · 22/01/2014 07:46

Bloody hell, that should say cheese and cream.

CrabbyWinterBottom · 22/01/2014 08:02

I'm fully conscious before 8am and have been up and about for some time. This is unheard of! Shock I've been waking earlier for the last few days, a great side effect of bootcamp, since normally I can't get to sleep at night and can't get up in the mornings.

Good job really, as in the next week I've got, in addition to all our usual routines, ferrying DD around to her various activities and attempting actually to insinuate some knowledge into her resistant little minecraft-filled head...
Choose and order a microscope for DD's birthday.
A home ed inspection tomorrow morning.
A family meal tomorrow evening where I will have to dodge carbs and wine.
A wedding on Saturday where I will attempt to dodge carbs but have a bullseye on my chest for the wine.
Friends coming Sunday where I will make a low carb (but bootcamp light) lunch and will by then be a fluorescent sitting target for the wine. Hmm
Pack for DD going to New Zealand for a month with her dad.
Bake cake and organise carby twat food for birthday party/special Minecraft club.
Host 9 kids and assorted parents. This is the most thing of all for me! Shock
Wave my precious girl off to the other side of the world for over a month. I know she'll have a great time but damn that's going to be hard. Sad

This shall all be a test of my low carb credentials! Grin
