it won't accept any more messages ladies. As you can see I decided it was time to get less picky.

hi scl
i did lol @ ref:to exh and nw tho naughty of me{slapped wrist emoticon}
it reminded me of what a friend's dd said about my bf when she wondered who he was and on being told remarked..'ooh he's alot nicer than the last one!'
i think it would be a lovely day out to visit that particular garden and it's about time you actually met this fella really isn't it?!
eve maybe fate has brought you together?do you think he's had a secret crush on you for years?

passmyglassplease · 17/11/2009 12:51

Morning all, just to give you an update on the ex and the car.

I was a little cowed but managed to stay strong and say no, needless to say I did get an extraordinary amount of txts telling me how unreasnable I am, but hey that is nothing new.

He has now calling into doubt my ability to care for the children as they haven't been to the dentist/opticians is 6 months and the list goes on and on and..............

Me and the nm had our first arguement this weekend , over an entry on Face book, tis the work of the devil ya know!

but the making up was fun.

Stay cool all of ya

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/11/2009 12:57

hello!
had wondered how you had got on?
have you broached the xmas thing with him yet?

Janos · 17/11/2009 13:25

Belle, I agree 100% with the others here. I've been through this myself (worn the t-shirt, washed it, worn it again etc) and absolutely the only thing that works is ignoring any attempt at communication, hard as that may be.

You don't owe him an explanation or a response and neither do you need to defend yourself.

Also, keep the texts 'just in case' as asbm says. Save them somewhere you don't have to look.

Janos · 17/11/2009 13:27

passmyglass...sounds like your ex has been taking lessons from mine. Tossers united!

passmyglassplease · 17/11/2009 13:44

do you remember bob the builder, I still get txts from him now!!!!

best thing to do belle, is completely ignore them, its the only thing that works.

Nm is fairly amenable to anything, so we have decided to spend xmas eve together, my friend and I will be doing a French xmas, which generally takes place on xmas eve, I will also having the dcs

on xmas day, me and the dcs will be off to my mums to cook, both my parents are elderly and cant do much for themselves.

nm says he will be recovering from consuming the vast mountains of food required for the French dinner, including the 12 desserts of xmas alternately he may go and see family.

Xmas 2009 looks like it could be the best one in a long time for me, I am so looking forward to it, and even more excited than the dcs, what a difference to last year!

thesouthsbelle · 17/11/2009 13:49

well so far nothing today, bit in a way daft I know. am having to use all my will power now not to contact him. reactivated my FB account for a spell earlier on but it's deactivated now. am making a few big life decisions which I don't need outside influence on - coupled with a lack of sleep - again (for a change!)

passmyglass - I hate FB for this reason (& why I deactivated). it also was the reason for assclown's rant y'day. your ex sounds like a prize knob - but also like he's realising that you're thinking for yourself & he doesn't like it.

anyhow.. on that note. guess I should get back to work as the boss has just come back - (will catch up properly later on)

ooh email from the sailor this am as well.

passmyglassplease · 17/11/2009 13:51

Janos, what really pisses me off is that I can do no right, so am adopting the niceguy philosphy

" if I am always going to be the baddie then I might as well be the baddie getting stuff done my way."

lou33 · 17/11/2009 13:54

more than daft belle, you know we all will say that!

can i just add i am unfeasibly excited as i booked the tickets to erotica, and went shopping for lovely things to wear for the occasion, though now i may keep some of it for sunday instead as my friend and i have come up with a coordinated plan for costumes

i cant wait!

Remotew · 17/11/2009 14:23

I had a quick look on the link but don't get erotica. Is it a night club? I carn't help it if I'm from the sticks.

lou33 · 17/11/2009 14:56

noooo its an exhibition place (used to live opposite where its held)

they have burlesque shows and loads of stands with lovely things to buy, and people dress up in often v risque stuff

my friend and i are going as a teacher/schoolgirl combo and are going to try and stay in character

Betty79 · 17/11/2009 17:40

I'm sure I posted earlier?

Well no date for me tonight, he's not well never mind. He has asked to re-arrnage for next week, cos i cant do weekend i have friends staying. other than that having a break from pof, cos it's same ole faces all the time lol

lou33 · 18/11/2009 20:46

did you notice? i thought i was being quite subtle

i think i may have scared them off with my shrieking in delight

Betty79 · 18/11/2009 21:32

subtle? lol if that's what u call subtle! i think u did scare them off! what's ur dress like then? did u say ur going in costumes?

lou33 · 18/11/2009 22:17

Betty79 · 18/11/2009 22:20

that's nice lou, i need to find a dress for my works xmas do in 3 weeks time, everything ive seen so far didnt have my size urgh!

sincitylover · 18/11/2009 22:24

Hello have been tied up with dealing with dcs - they have been a nightmare tonite - possibly to do with exh picking them up and being with them for two hours.

Betty - sorry if I couldn't remember all the details have a memory like a sieve plus I find this thread quite overwhelming at times.

Lou like that dress.

I was fantasising about what I'd like for Christmas today and a Tiffany bracelet would be nice (not that I am likely to get one) and some new boots.

Will find some way to treat myself - have to work an extra saturday before Christmas which should get some extra pay for.

lou33 · 18/11/2009 22:26

thank you

its much better quality than i expected, very soft

bargain at 12 quid down from 40ish

sincitylover · 18/11/2009 22:30

oh and pmg - sounds like my exh - very keen to suggest ways I should be parenting but not so keen to actually step up and do the actual work - ie take them to the dentist etc etc

If you read the Bancroft book about abusive men it actually talks about that - ie spectator parent

Bah! as you know sometimes my exh likes to check when mine last had bath.

He also said tonight he couldnt keep giving me an extra tenner here and there because the extra work he was doing had dried up - er hello - meant to give me 15% of all net income anyway. I said to him - do you notice the empty fridge? To his credit tho he did not raid my emergency supply of beans tonight he went and bought some chicken drumsticks!!

lou33 · 18/11/2009 22:35

if mine checked when they last bathed i would laugh in his face, seeing as he stinks all the time

to the point i can smell it in my car if he has been in it, or it emanates off the kids when he has been with them

sincitylover · 18/11/2009 22:47

Yeuch! That sounds gross Lou

exh is uber clean to the point of OCD tho.

lou33 · 18/11/2009 23:27

well then ignore is silly arse

it is gross

and it isnt like he doesnt have washing machine now

mind you he is still wearing the same clothes from 10 years ago
