it won't accept any more messages ladies. As you can see I decided it was time to get less picky.
Lou, I hope you didn't leave your phillips

i think you are more likely to want to help exbf because of your feelings for him, and it kind of leaves a door open just in case

you dont feel the same about samename, so it makes sense you dont extend the same offer to him

sincitylover · 04/11/2009 15:44

yeah most people I would leave in the gutter

think you are right Lou, I won't ever close the door on him. I do realise that people have to sort their own lives out and tbh couldn't actually help him with much practically. It was just a gesture really cos I was very surprised he admitted that his life was a mess.

I have seen my db rescuing numerous hopeless cases and sometimes lecture him - I think I am alot tougher than him but fleetingly wondered if maybe I am guilty of the same.

sincitylover · 04/11/2009 15:45

told samename that he had been saying the same thing since we met and to just get his CV out there!!!

lou33 · 04/11/2009 15:46

lol scl

i am the same

i have been called a collector of lost souls!

lou33 · 04/11/2009 15:49

having said that, i do know when to draw the line and wash my hands

but they do seem to be drawn to me (or subconsciously vice versa)

sincitylover · 04/11/2009 15:56

yes so do I - I hope.

thesouthsbelle · 04/11/2009 17:16

just making my place. till DS is in bed.

saw gymboy (I know I know)

XH has reached a brand new low - off to start a thread about that as well as I really don't know what way to go forward with this - needless to say he's reached an all time low where DS is concerned.

lou33 · 04/11/2009 18:23

what happened with gymboy?

thesouthsbelle · 04/11/2009 18:28

not a right lot tbh. no change. he says doens't want to make a decision which will bite him on the bum. that he's being stupid but can't help what he's thinking. tried his hardest to talk me around. says he doesn't want to lead me on down the garden path. has texted once today.

but I have too much going on at the mo in my head to deal with him/it today.

LouIsAWeetbixKid · 04/11/2009 19:35

Evening ladies

How are we all tonight? I have been a bit sporadic in my visits but I hope everyone life is fine and dandy.

Well I have been out with geekboy twice now. 1st date - 6 hours
2nd date - 8 hours
3rd date - he drove up from Brighton just to see me and take me out for my lunch break.

Can I please be all smug and loved up right now?

notevenamousie · 04/11/2009 19:42

That sounds great LLAJ!

SB - I don't know what to say. I wish you could feel good, whole and positive in yourself.

NM is abroad again. We are planning on introducing the children in the next few weeks. Seperately, then both together (I have a nearly 3yo dd, he has a 6 yo ds). Any suggestions very much welcomed. Work is stressful and life, I guess, goes on regardless.

Love to all xx

lou33 · 04/11/2009 20:05

talk you round about what? the fact remains you have a child, that isnt going to change

hes just buying time leaving you dangling imo

Remotew · 04/11/2009 20:22

Hi, haven't been here for a while, nothing to report. Still in touch with they guy who is working abroad, still waiting for some photos.

Glad everyone else is OK. What's going on for bonfire night? I'm not celebrating it this year. DD has a firework party on Sat night. I might try and go out for a change.

thesouthsbelle · 04/11/2009 20:23

talk me around into giving him more time to see how things will pan out. I may want to and think he's real nice etc but tbh thou how much time does the bloke want? as I say can't think about it right now.

mousie - glad you're getting on well. lets hope the kids all get on now.

Lou - glad you're loved up.

thesouthsbelle · 04/11/2009 20:25

(have agreed to a coffee date thou with my sailor friend i've been emailing for the last few months when he comes back in December, but that's still 6 weeks away)

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 04/11/2009 20:44

sb - maybe gymboy doesn't want to be single over xmas. personally this is my fav time of year to be single, no idea why i like it so much on my own.... but most people feel the MUST be seeing someone.... just a thought. no harm in holding out yourself if you would prefer to be seeing someone also.

eve - still waiting on photo's??? for how long?

lou - hope your feeling better

mousie and llaj - glad your both so happy.

mousie - send out a bat signal for asbm and itm and ninah who will give you advice on introducing dc.

well.... i'm back from dinner with beachbum.still keeping me at arms length(literally). this is my own fault. karma biting me on asse for dumping him ... twice... it's actually hurting ... i'll feel better in the morning.

thesouthsbelle · 04/11/2009 20:53

juicy. not good. would you go there agian if he was willing?

tbh I don't think it's the xmas thing - he'll be going back to wales anyhow for at least a week if not 2 so wouldn't see him either way.

I can't figure him out. all he also keeps saying is he wishes he didn't find me attractive/pretty/nice etc etc cos then it would make it all so much easier - i'm like well yeah and I wish you were a twat so then it would be for me as well.

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 04/11/2009 21:21

SB - we had it out proper tonight. he has said he wants to try again 100% once one of the 3 things in his life gives way as he doesn't want me dumping him again through lack of time on his behalf.

but... i have to hang about , not necessarily single.. but still be in contact till he's ready. but i'm struggling.

i think he was part of reason i never let irish even try and see if he could work things out for us.

thesouthsbelle · 04/11/2009 21:25

how do you feel about hanging about? do you think he's worth waiting for?

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 04/11/2009 21:28

hanging about messes with any other relationship i have.

lou33 · 05/11/2009 00:07

but you could still date, just keep in touch like he has asked?

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 05/11/2009 08:04

thats what i did for all of oct though.seeing him last night left me feeling as bad as last time i seen him in sept.

lou33 · 05/11/2009 12:59

what do you want with him, friendship or more?

and do you think you would be happy with him, or always looking for the next one?

lou33 · 05/11/2009 13:03

and omg lb is going to be here earlier than i thought tomorrow

i best get dusting

thesouthsbelle · 05/11/2009 16:35

/;o lou - let em take you as they find you and no other way I say.

RJ - lou asks some good questions there.

as for me a call a text and an assumption. my reply.... to become gay! (only kidding but reply was do one, am not interested in being made to keep like i can be 'squeezed in for 5 mins as a favour')

have any of you girls ever used kalms? althou think I might need to pick up my combat again 3/4 times a week at home as well as the gym.
