Hello All

Im peter, 27 years old from london, I have two children, My son is 5 and my daughter is 4, I use to be a single parent untill my children went back to there mums but i still have plenty of contact with my children, Im here on mumsnet because i would really like to chat to other parents, None of my mates have children so when ever i tell them what ive been upto with them there not really interested, I sometimes feel abit isolated so it would be great to chat to some other parents, My aunt said that i should try a parenting website but she also said that she doubts very much that anyone would want to chat to me because im a guy,
Im just looking for someone that i can chat to about stuff in general and being a parent, I hope nobody minds me being here and if anyone would like to chat then please feel free to send me a message.

you cannot expect people who join, to know the etiquette immedaitely.

maybe on some forums, you do give out your email addy to all and sundry

this witchuntiness is not very edifying

nutcracker · 01/10/2007 16:56

lucykate · 01/10/2007 16:57

single mum to 2 here,
welcome to the madhouse!

NomDeBroomstick · 01/10/2007 17:04

I am almost 100% convinced that you are 'confidenceman'. CM has removed all info and photo's from his profile now, but all i can say is that my spidey senses are tingling.

For the record I don't care whether you are here to chat or to fuck flirt

TheWiltedRose · 01/10/2007 17:04

oh! well i didnt read the whole thread whats everyone arguin about!??

Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:09

if i wanted to meet women to shag i wouldnt come here because there are so called dating sites for that, people keep telling me about plentyoffish but to be honest thats more like a porn site for the hard up

NomDeBroomstick · 01/10/2007 17:10

Well, fair play to you in that case. Just get stuck into 'normal' chat on active conversations and you'll soon be part of the furniture

MegaLegs · 01/10/2007 17:14

I looked at your pic earlier and thought you looked familiar - have you admitted to being confidenceman? Haven't read whole thread yet.

MegaLegs · 01/10/2007 17:16

he was also called pete

Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:19

im just ignoring you now because your WRONG

Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:22

Confidenceman has a son and duaghter same age as yours and he is from London. Maybe you should meet up.

VoodooLULUmama · 01/10/2007 17:26

am sure MNHQ can put this to rest, but seeing if confidenceman and innovation have the same ISP or whatever it is ....

have no recollection of confidenceman, i doubt he popped up on an ' am in labour thread!"

MegaLegs · 01/10/2007 17:38

What do you reckon? Rumbled?

Shame if it was him. Why would he pretend to be new?

Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:40

well do it then, send both usernames to mumsnet HQ and have me investigated, Ive got a CRB check aswell so i can send that with my national insurance number if you like, did you want a bank statement aswell or will my ISP be enough,

VoodooLULUmama · 01/10/2007 17:40

Blimey you lot, does it really matter if he has been on here before ? If this is the reception he got last time, then it's no surprise he buggered off.
