Hello All

Im peter, 27 years old from london, I have two children, My son is 5 and my daughter is 4, I use to be a single parent untill my children went back to there mums but i still have plenty of contact with my children, Im here on mumsnet because i would really like to chat to other parents, None of my mates have children so when ever i tell them what ive been upto with them there not really interested, I sometimes feel abit isolated so it would be great to chat to some other parents, My aunt said that i should try a parenting website but she also said that she doubts very much that anyone would want to chat to me because im a guy,
Im just looking for someone that i can chat to about stuff in general and being a parent, I hope nobody minds me being here and if anyone would like to chat then please feel free to send me a message.

crikey

i am not that bothered, if anyone is that perturbed, that is the way to find out

i really do think that if people are suspicious, rather than getting all defensive, just laugh about it and move on

i did welcome you lower down in the thread

MegaLegs · 01/10/2007 17:45

OK - fair enough but it's a hoooj coincidence. Same name, same age, kids same age and sex, similar typing style.

Welcome to MN - atleast you've got yourself noticed.

Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:45

nutcracker, they proberly dont have anything else to do in there life, how sad and boring life must be for them

OP posts:
Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:46

It's best just to ignore it innovation, join in with other threads if you still want to post, and people will soon think you have been here forever.

Most of mn probably couldn't really care less if you have been on here before or not, so don't let it worry you.

MegaLegs · 01/10/2007 17:48

Have you looked at confidenceman's posts then?
I have a great life thanks and MN is quite a big part of it actually so I don't like to see people taking the piss, but your not so that's ok.

Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:48

well megalegs cares but then she does lead an empty life if shes going around looking at the way people type, pmsl

OP posts:
Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:50

no im def taking the piss but only out of you

OP posts:
MegaLegs · 01/10/2007 17:51

You can be reported if it gets personal - so not so much of the empty life please.

nutcracker · 01/10/2007 17:53

Err I think megalegs was trying to be nice to you.

You won't get any response if you are nasty tbh.

thePhantomTrollOuter · 01/10/2007 17:55

Confidenceman used to say "proberly" instead of "probably" too.

Innovation · 01/10/2007 17:56

and you can be reported aswell because your the one going around compairing typing styles and accusing me of stuff i aint doing or done,

if you think im lying then dont bother talking to me see if i care

Sadly I can't stay and fight my corner as I have to get the kids to bed and then go to choir (damn this empty life of mine).

Last I knew using the search message facility wasn't a reportable offence.

If you are here for genuine reasons that's great, hope you find some friends, support, advice whatever.

Innovation · 01/10/2007 18:03

thank you megalegs, can we just forget this now
