Single Father, New To Mumsnet

Hello All

Im peter, 27 years old from london, I have two children, My son is 5 and my daughter is 4, I use to be a single parent untill my children went back to there mums but i still have plenty of contact with my children, Im here on mumsnet because i would really like to chat to other parents, None of my mates have children so when ever i tell them what ive been upto with them there not really interested, I sometimes feel abit isolated so it would be great to chat to some other parents, My aunt said that i should try a parenting website but she also said that she doubts very much that anyone would want to chat to me because im a guy,
Im just looking for someone that i can chat to about stuff in general and being a parent, I hope nobody minds me being here and if anyone would like to chat then please feel free to send me a message.

right im not gonna post on here anymore because by the looks of it i aint welcome and people are checking up on me, if anyone decent and nice wants to chat then my email address is on my very first post on this thread,

I remember this happening with another (female) poster a while back. It didn't end well IIRC.

We are old and set in our ways.

Just read some threads, and post, it's always good to have new victims posters, but this isn't a fluffy wuvvy place.

You are not brand new to this site though, are you ? You joined a while ago and got hounded off by folk who were convinced you were giving your email address away and looking for a shag. You may have rejoined under a diff name, but you cannot honest;y type that you did not know that you would be met with a degree of suspicion at the start.....

Anyway, welcome to MN.

BTW, I do think it helps just to get stuck into the talking bit. Maybe stay off certain subjects, sex/dating blah blah until you've established yourself as Not A Weirdo. I know that seems a bit harsh/odd but it may help you to integrate a little better into MN.

TBH, I think most MNers would be sus of a poster, be they m or f, that joined and added their email address in their 1st post.

I do remember a similar person joining a few months back now ndp has jogged my memory. Not saying it is/was you though.

That didn't come acrosee right, i wasn't saying you are weird, i was saying anyone who joins probably is a bit, to want to talk to strangers etc.
